Question about gaurav/karan

Hi! Im new here and I've recently started watching this show since last wk well I know that gaurav and karan are both gay but one thing i was confused at and I wasn't sure of is that can gay people turn straight?I'm sry if this topic has been posted already but i was really curious ..this show really does make you think about alot of things ...i dont want vidya and gaurav to get a divorce coz i have done some research where they say that gay people can bcome straight depending upon the situation..i was just really curious if someone could help thanks..and sorry if it has already been posted :(

no i haven't heard bout a gay dude change to straight...so idk...she might end up w/ someone while he is happy w/ karan...thats wat i think

I worked with someone whose husband of about 15yrs left her and their 3 kids for another man. If this can happen, why can't the other way? I would like to know the answer myself. Yes, this show does make you think and question things!

all are eager to know but long back i read a article that many gay's succumb to society pressure and get married and have children, but stiil they continue their relation with their partner secretly.

i dont really know the answer to this i dont think if anybody does. But i can tell u that if the show wanted vidya and gaurav together then why start the gay track in the beginning. They cannot end it now because they will get hell from the society.

Thank you all for replying..wasn't expecting alot of responses lol..but nigo123 i agree with you that if they wanted to make gaurav and vidya to be together then why crearte the gay track..well as far as Ive seen the show maybe they are just trying to show that this has happened and is happening in our community...i havce heard alot of people from US marrying girls from India under famly pressure but they are gay but can't confess to the family...but i think gaurav will finally realize that what he has with vidya is actually true love and that he was never gay..cause the way he has been acting with vidya..or maybe thats wat I would want it to be lol :)

There is a famous incident of a gay man turning straight. Guys, google Tom Robinson. He was famous in the 1970's because of his song "Glad to be Gay". He subsequently fell in love with a woman and is now married to her. Also, google the British poet Stephen Spender. He turned gay-to-straight. But, there are just as many incidents of men turning gay after many years of marriage to a woman. All I am saying is, sexual identity, like any other aspect of one's identity, need NOT to stable and fixed. Having said that, if Gaurav falls in love with Vidya, AS IS LIKELY NOW (because he is beginning to avoid Karan) can we please spare a thought for the acute pain Karan will go through? Is it his fault that he loves Gaurav? I think Gaurav and Karan should live together eventually and Vidya and Cheenu should find love in each other's arms.
