s-I love you a lot...a lot...a lot. [every bottled up feeling in his heart for him is oozing out with his every uttered word].

She is looking down at him with a blank expression.

s-Ms Kashish Sinha, will you marry me?

k-what?..no..!...i don't understand..ye..kya...tum ye...hum yahan kyun aaye hain? Kya karne? ..papa ki maut celebrate karne?

Sujal's anger raises to the highest level with her words.

s-enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His jaw gets clenched.

He gets up from his seat.

s-lets go !

he paces quickly towards his car, while Kashish and her family follows him.

He is so disgusted by her words that he doesn't even a utter a single word while driving them to their place.

He leaves without even a word to Kashish after they reach their place.

Next morning-

The door bell of Kashish house rings and her mother opens the door.

Ma-arre Sujal, aao naa beta

He comes in

Ma-main Kashish ke kal ke...

s-bhul jaiye wo sab aap, waise Kashish kahan hai? Mai use baat karna chahta tha

ma-wo to subah-subah nikal gai, keh rahi thi koi fashion show hai; usmein wo show stopper hai wo, islie rehearsal karne jaa rahi hai

s-fashion show? Kab hai?

Ma-aaj raat

s-oh...good...[he takes a deep breath]..achcha hai kam se kam Kashish kaam mein dhaayn lagane ki phir se koshish kar rahi hai

ma-haan, mujhe bhi achcha laga. Beta, tum zara jaake dekh aana wahan..itne dino ke baad wo..aise...

s-aunty, ye bhi koi kehne ki baat hai kya?

Ma smiles

s-chali, main chalta hoon. Zara kaam hai

ma-achcha beta

he goes.

Its evening.

Sujal reaches the fashion show where Kashish is the show stopper.

The whole show goes perfectly and specially Kashish does a marvelous job.

Sujal applauds for her sitting at the front seat, with her every performance.

As the show ends , sujal goes in the back stage to congratulate her, where Kashish I sitting with her hair stylist.

Sujal walks to her.

s-congratulations ! you did a great job, Kashish !

She doesn't even look at him. She has an air around her.

k-[to her hair dresser] Barbie, shayad logon ko pata nahi hai ki back stage ke andar aana mana hai, aur specially mujhe pasand nahi hai.

Babie-mam [whispers] aisa mat kahie, ye bohot bade entrepreneur hain, Sujal Garewal

k-ye job hi ho, main yahan ki show stopper hoon, meri baat nahi maani to..to..kaho to..stop kara doon ye show !

Sujal goes out without a word.

s-i am outside

An hour has passed, every invitee has gone.

Sujal is still waiting for her, with his hands inside his pant pockets.

Kashish comes out.

k-Hi Sujal !

she greets him with a too good to be true, kind of sweet smile

sujal smiles back seeing her in a good mood.

k-dinner?

s-sure! Where do you wanna go?

k-would you mind if my friend Sophie and her boyfriend join too?

s-no..not at all. Good, double date kind of thing..ok..i am game.

k-good, by the way Sujal meet Sophie, she is a model, and he is her boyfriend Ricky..well..he..is..umm...he does...nothing..actually..

s-oh..well..shall we move?

Sophie-sure

They reach a lavish restaurant.

The waiter gives them the menu.

s-Kashish, what would you like to have?

k-i would have some prawn sizzlers.

s-ok, I will order some lasagne.

k-no, order Sushi

s-no but...

k-order Sushi.

s-i am allergic to Sushi

k-order sushi !!!!!!!

he looks at her, trying to gauge out the reason for her stubbornness.

Sophie cuts in.

Sophie-anybody for drinks?

s-yes, I will have some.

Sophie-ok, one beer for Rick, a whiskey for me..and...?

s-i will have some wine.

Sophie-ok [she orders]

s-[whispers to k] don't you think whiskey would be too strong for her, she is petite.

But k chooses to ignore him.

Sophie-oh where is my gloss?

She is searching her purse.

A white substance fall of that she quickly keeps inside, fearing to be seen by people.

But Sujal had noticed it, he didn't like the girl, there was something fishy about her. Kashish shouldn't be hanging around with her he thought, she is too much of a bad company.

The food and the drinks come.

Till the time the food comes Sophie is half drunk.

Rick is not even paying attention to her, he is busy having an animated conversation with Kashish.

s-Kashish !

k-hmm?

He leans closer to her ear and whispers.

s-don't you think you should stop her from drinking more, she have had enough

k-[she brushes it off] she will be fine, its nothing unusual

They finishes the food and the finger bowls are served.

Sophie is badly boozed up till then.

Sophie-Kashish..you...are very..lucky...Sujal ..loves you a lot

Kashish looks at Sujal from corner of her eyes.

Sophie-dek..dekho naa...even if ..he..hates Sushi..he is having..it for your..sake

Kashish looks down.

Ricky cuts in.

Ricky-haan, Sujal to Kashish ke lie kuch bhi kar sakta hai, use itna pyaar jo karta hai...waise...do u love me Sophie?

Sophie-yes, I love u

Ricky-oh..do you love me a lot?

Sophie-offcourse I do

Ricky-oh, then prove it

Ricky-drink it ! [he points to the dirty water in the finger bowl that he used to wash his hand]

Sujal and kashish look at them with astonishment.

Sophie-what..?..i?

Ricky-I said drink it

Sujal gets up.

s-hey man, just stop it !

ricky-its between me and my girlfriend , whats your problem?

s-you are harassing a woman, that's my problem. Take her home, she is drunk and you get lost ! [he says with no nonsense attitude]

ricky leaves with sophie.

He takes a deep breath.

s-kashish lets go. [he commands her broodingly]

she hangs her purse and walks out.

He walks behind her.

s-what happened to you? Why are you getting angry?

k-nothing !

she waves her hand for the taxi

k-taxiii !!!!!!!

s-no need, I am dropping you !

k-no need, I will go !

he ignores her.

He turns her towards him.

s-stay away from that girl !

k-why should i?????? she is my friend !

s-she is just a trouble, a girl on booze and drugs with toxic relationships would only have bad influence on you.

k-you don't have to tell me everything, I can take care of myself! And, apart from that you are not any way less than Ricky !

s-what?????????? You are comparing me with that jerk? i..and he..really? have I ever asked you to have my dirt????

k-arrrghhh !!!!!! you don't understand !!!!!! its not about that. You can never understand [she is sobbing silently]

s-then make me understand !

k-its...its about your attitude !

s-whattt?????? My attitude?????? You were the one who went away to marry that gay !

sujal cuts in

s-i know whats coming, you will say about that kiss, I told you thausanddd times that it was a misunderstand !!!!!!! cant you understand a simple thing!!!!!! I never had any relationship with her.

k-even if you didn't...did you ever bother to communicate your feelings to me????

s-you should have known !

k-ohhh ! [she rolls her eyes putting hands on side of her waist] how on the earth, am I supposed to know Mr Sujal Garewal???? Should I have dreamt????

s-no, you should have understood !

k-ohhh reallyyy??????? You accuse me of betraying your trust without understanding me or knowing my position, misbehave with me, act rudely with me, ignore me and I...III...am  supposed to understand !

Sujal is silently looking down while she is huffing and puffing with anger.

He doesn't know what to say, he doesn't know what would be the appropriate things to say, he doesn't know what is the right thing to say to a girl.

he wraps his arms around her and hugs her tight.

He closes his eyes resting his chin on her shoulder.

Kashish is standing still, she is numb with astonishment.

s-kashish ! kashish..i am sorry ! I am sorry,i..i..know..you have suffered a lot because of me..i..am a fool...I am sorry !

he parts the hug and looks into her eyes holding her face on his palms.

s-but..but..i love you Kashish..i love you..i love you a lot.

She looks into his deep pitch black eyes.

He tilts his face a bit to a side and moves it closer to hers, their lips are coming closer and closer to each other.

He slowly closes his eyes as his lips move closer towards her.

But before he could have joined them into a kiss, Kashish puts her hand on his chest to resist him and moves her face away.

Before he could fully come into normalcy, she waves to a taxi and sits inside.

k-bye

she was drived away in the taxi, before he could have reacted in a fully conscious manner.

He just remains standing looking at the door till he could see her taxi zoom away.
