FV begins by narrating that Sandhya had her doubts when she caught Neeraj in Yuvraj's place in the hotel but Yuvraj denied it, but when she learnt from Jyoti that the day after she left, Neeraj too had gone out of station, her doubts turned into a suspicion. She is afraid of this suspicion becoming a reality
DK is still furious @ both Pankaj & Purushottam still depending on Neeraj for their solution. Instead, Neeraj now knows the family secret. He begs Purushottam to stop depending on Neeraj, since he's not going to help them. Pankaj tells him that Neeraj didn't say no (Yuvi, can you confirm that? He very specifically told you that he won't be doing this) he just asked for some time, and that should be given to him. Yuvraj demands to know how much time does he want - Sandhya may be blind, but she's not stupid. They went out on the first time on the honeymoon and returned mission unaccomplished, and on top of that, Sandhya also suspects Neeraj now. So why do they want more time? In the expectation that Neeraj will fulfill his promise, or for Sandhya to discover his secret? (Yuvi, since you know that Sandhya will detect Neeraj easily, why are you still going this route?) Pankaj tells Yuvraj that he is worrying too much, and that he doesn't think that Sandhya suspects anything. She may have some doubts as a result of this sudden return, but they'd talk to her and allay those doubts.
Yuvraj's dad speaks up, and says that whatever they are doing, they should now stop. None of their plans are working - something always comes in the way. He thinks that god must be wishing that they do none of this.
Yuvraj objects, and demands to know what his god's wishes are (for one, that you not pimp your wife? Ever heard of adoption?) He then goes into a litany of what he goes thru, and says that if that's what they should do, why are they keeping this a secret w/ so much effort? He has a meltdown, and challenges them to announce it to the world and throw a party and celebrate. His dad asks him to stop, and Yuvi asks him why is he suddenly remembering the god who he turned away from due to his anger @ Yuvi's condition? He reminds him that he's an atheist, and never thought in this manner. He asks him why they didn't kill him on his being born?
At this point, Jyoti & Sandhya join them 😲 and the others are shocked. Yuvi's mom tells Jyoti & Sandhya that they were discussing some old properties, and asks whether they ate. Jyoti tells her that they didn't, and neither did they. Yuvi's mom tells her that time just flew.
Yuvraj @ this point leaves, walking past Jyoti & Sandhya, undetected by Sandhya, but Jyoti asks where's he gone, since Sandhya came to fetch him since they hadn't eaten. His mom says that he wasn't feeling well, so she asked him to rest, and asks Sandhya to join them for dinner. Sandhya tells her she's not hungry, but mom will have none of it, and orders her to come and eat anyway.
DK leaves, and Pankaj goes to Yuvi's dad and tells him that Yuvi is pretty upset, and they should factor that in, or else he might do something untoward. Therefore, whatever they started, they should finish. Purushottam sits down and is thoughtful
Jayesh is sitting @ home, lost in his thoughts, while Savita is observing him. She recalls all the events surrounding Malati, and looking @ the phone, recalls a gag her kids had pulled on her on April fools day. They rigged the phone to ring, and when Savita answered it, there was noone, and the kids had pulled off their stunt. They showed her that by dialing 161, they could get the phone to ring automatically.
Savita recalls this, goes to the phone and dials 161, unobserved by Jayesh. The phone rings, and Jayesh asks her to answer it. She does, and tells him that it's from Ms Malati Kapre. 😆👏 Jayesh is shocked. He goes to the phone and tells her that I've told you so many times not to call here... and then realizes there's noone on the other end. Turning to Savita, he tells her that it was a new member of his office staff, whom he had told not to call. He then leaves, while Savita stares @ him for lying thru his teeth.
DK comes to Yuvraj, and tells him that whatever has happened has happened, but from now on, no screw-ups (pun not intended) will happen. He has already thought of what to do, and this time, his plan is fail-safe. Yuvi tells him to do what he likes, but preserve his secret, and not to let it out. He is willing to go to any extent to keep his secret a secret. But he's not going to live if it does come out. DK shakes him, and tells him that as long as he is alive, he won't let anyone raise a finger @ Yuvraj. He asks Yuvraj to follow his instructions, and then just watch what Sandhya's condition will be as a result. He'd confuse her so badly that she'll doubt every instinct of hers. She's very proud of her 6th sense, but she will do what he wants, believe what he wants her to believe, and so on. She won't be able to beat him.
Savita tells Jayesh that the phone call he just received was not from his office. She was the one who made it ring, and he shuddered on hearing Malati Kapre's name. She tries to assure him that she doesn't suspect his motives, nor does she think he's doing anything wrong, but she wants to know what's he hiding. Who is this Malati who's worrying him so much that he has to lie to her? She recalls all the incidences involving her, and also tells him that while he doesn't have money for home repairs, he can pay her 1 lakh, and that too from his bank account. Jayesh asks her how she knows, and she tells him that the bank called her since he was short. Savita tells him that she doesn't care what he did w/ that, but she is worried about what is he hiding from her.
Jayesh tells her that he didn't want to betray her trust, but since she knows this much, he'll tell her. He tells her that he has no relationship w/ her, and doesn't know her, but Savita's dad knew Malati. Savita is shocked to hear this, and he tells her that he first saw her w/ his FIL. When he visited her dad in preparations for the wedding, he saw that her dad was giving her some money. He also heard him say that before anyone sees us, leave this place, and after Sandhya's marriage, I'll myself come to see you. He tells her that she met Savita's dad a few occasions after that, and that he never thought it proper to question him about her.
However, 2 days after the death of her dad, while he was about to leave for work, 3 of them - Malati, her bro & her mom, came up to him, and the bro asked him whether he was Jayesh Patil. He confirmed, and asked what it was about, and the guy tells him that this is his sister, 7 months pregnant, and the person who impregnated her was his late FIL 😲 Jayesh tells him not to talk crap, but the guy tells him that his FIL was not ashamed of doing this, but now, he's supposed to be ashamed to reveal it? He tells him that they have the DNA reports, but if he wants it, he'll have to have it in court, and if he does that, all the daughters will be summoned, so that they can find out what their dad did b4 he left. Jayesh begs him not to, and offers to cut a deal. The guy asks for 10 lakhs, as well as a job for himself. Jayesh tells him that he'll give him the amount in installments, and try as far as the job goes.
Savita sits down and starts crying. Jayesh tells her that he knows that her dad is incapable of this, but that in that situation, particularly after his death, he wanted to avoid any scandal, and couldn't think of a better solution. He had already paid 2 lakhs taking a loan from the provident fund, but their hunger wasn't satisfied, and that was why he talked about selling their property - so that he could pay them off and buy their silence. However, she misunderstood his intentions.
Savita apologizes to him, telling him that he did so much to save her father's honor, and yet, she suspected him. Jayesh tells her the fault was his for suppressing this from her. However, it's now their job to get to the bottom of this. While his life couldn't be saved, his honor will be saved @ all costs.
Yuvi's mom tells DK that she's willing to listen to anything he says, as long as it's in her son's interest. DK tells her that in the honeymoon, whatever happened wasn't Neeraj's fault.
The Jagirdars don't give up, do they? First of all, Pankaj is stupid enough to want to depend on Neeraj to continue to side w/ them, despite being @ the receiving end of the deception. Then DK wants to play games w/ Sandhya that make her doubt her instincts.
I'm glad Jayesh came clean w/ Savita, but he's unwittingly made himself vulnerable to blackmail by people who can only smear a dead man. If anything, he ought to team up w/ the other 4 couples, and contest this in court. Let Malati's bro produce her 'evidence'.
