The scene starts with the introduction of the Chopra family. Tilak's wedding is being celebrated. The atmosphere is full of fun and joy. All the family members are happilly awaiting the arrival of the groom and bride. The bride arrives - along with her comes an ambulance carrying the dead body of Baldev Chopra.
The house is grief-stricken. Reshma (Tilak's mother) is shocked. Tilak feels that his wife is unlucky. But his grandfather and uncle Kukku convince him to accept her.
Meanwhile, Reshma's health goes from bad to worse. At this moment, Tilak's bride asks him to examine his mother himself, as he is a doctor. Tilak says he is not one and the bride gets the shock of her life - she says that she has been married to someone called Dr Prakash. Now, Tilak realises that this bride is not Pushpa, the woman he was supposed to marry, but someone called Saroj.
Saroj tells Tilak that she is not Pushpa, and that she would like to reunite with her husband, Dr Prakash, and her brother.
Reshma has still not recovered. Everyone tries to make her cry.
Tilak comes to Saroj and tells her that he had got married to Pushpa against his wish, at a temple in Nasik. On the way back home, they had met with an accident. Saroj tells him that they were also travelling in the same bus then.
Saroj asks Tilak to find out where her husband and her brother are and take her back to them. Kanta interrupts them telling that Reshma's condition has deteriorated. Saroj goes to Reshma and hugs her - Reshma breaks down and starts crying.
Tilak informs Pramod and Kukku that Reshma is fine, and has recovered from the shock. He also tells them that this is thanks to Pushpa.
Kanta convinces Reshma to take part in the muh dikhai ritual. But Pramod does not want Reshma to go through with it. Reshma talks to him and he finally agrees.
Tilak convinces Saroj to get ready for her muh dikhai promising that he would take her to Dr. Prakash as soon as possible.
The preparations have started for muh dikhai. Saroj is not yet ready for it. She pleads with Tilak to find out the whereabouts of her husband and her brother.
Reshma plans to gift bangles to Saroj during the muh dikhai. Saroj and Tilak are very uneasy during the entire ceremony.
Later, Thekedarni comes to bless Saroj. But Saroj gets angry and leaves the place.
She later asks Tilak to take her back to her husband as soon as possible.
Tilak is upset. Pramod and Kukku arrive and explain to him that he will have to accept his wife and live happily.
Tilak leaves home the next day without informing anyone. When he is not found till evening, everyone starts looking out for him.
Pramod says that he must have gone to meet Seema (Tilak's former girlfriend). Saroj decides that it is time, she reveals the truth.
Saroj is about to reveal and Tilak walks in. Everyone starts questioning him. Tilak assures them that he will not do any thing that would effect their status in the society.
Saroj takes him to a room, and accuses him of taking interest in Seena instead of searching her brother and her husband.
To convince her, he shows a purse and a wristwatch, which belongs to her brother and says that her brother is dead.
The rest of the family is tensed about what's happening in the room and they start banging on the door. As soon as Tilak and Saroj open the door, Reshma tells Saroj that if she is not happy with Tilak, she can set herself free. But immediately after that Reshma faints.
Reshma is admitted in the hospital. Kukku speaks to Tilak and asks him to change his attitude towards his wife. Tilak tells Kukku that he would reveal the truth to his mother. But Kukku does not understand.
Saroj is reminded of her brother when she looks at the watch. Reshma recovers from unconsciousness and Tilak is about to tell her the truth when Saroj interrupts.
Saroj then tells Tilak that she won't leave until Reshma recovers.
Reshma is discharged from the hospital. Kukku asks Tilak to behave properly with his wife, atleast infront of his mother.
Tilak then remembers the time he decided to marry Pushpa against the wishes of Baldev (his father). Baldev had complimented him for this decision and had asked him not to feel defeated and compromise with circumstances at any point in life. Instead he must fight against it.
Pramod and Kukku go to hospital to bring Reshma home. Meanwhile Saroj comes to know that Pushpa is dead.
Saroj hands over her mangalsutra to Tilak to always remind him that she is somebody else's wife.
Just then Pramod and Kukku come in with Reshma and they are surprised to see Tilak and Saroj together. Tilak then goes to police station to find the whereabouts of Dr. Prakash.
Nanda is interested in acting. Everyone encourages her at first but when it comes to rehearsals, no one is helpful.
Tilak and Saroj inform everyone that they are going on a honeymoon. But their real plan is to find Dr Prakash. Reshma speaks to Dadi and decides to hand over the keys to Saroj.
Reshma hands over the keys to a shocked Saroj. Nanda informs Reshma that Saroj and Tilak are planning to go on a honeymoon. Then Pramod asks Kanta, Nanda and Kukku to join then on the trip.
Tilak is looking at the mangalsutra when Reshma, Kanta and Nanda come in and force Tilak to tie the mangalsutra instead of handing over to Saroj.
But Tilak makes an excuse and escapes. The inspector calls and informs Saroj that there is no news of Dr. Prakash.
Kanta is getting ready to join Tilak and Saroj on their honeymoon. Dada tells Pramod to keep Saroj and Tilak as close as possible.
Guddo is in the college canteen with her friends Reshma and Namita and is talking about her new bhabhi.
Tilak informs Saroj that everyone is ready to go with them. Now it will be impossible to put them off.
Guddo receives a letter from Digen Verma and she is very scared. Guddo mistakes Namita's friend to be Digen and slaps him and later realises that he is not Digen Verma.
Kukku asks Pramod and Nanda to book the tickets. In the hall, the phone rings but Guddo doesn't pick it up, as she is scared that it might be Digen. Nanda picks up the phone and says that someone is saying 'I love you'. Saroj starts laughing and again the phone starts to ring.
When Saroj picks up the phone, Guddo gets tensed. Saroj keeps the receiver aside and leaves. After talking on the phone Guddo turns around and finds Saroj standing behind her.
Thekedarni enters and offers Saroj prasad and invites her to dinner. Saroj tries to convince Tilak to go to Thekedarni's house for dinner. Tilak get annoyed and says that she should not get close to anybody as she is going to leave soon.
Thekedar and Thekedarni are busy with the preparations when Thekedar tells her that he doesn't think that Saroj and Tilak will come for dinner.
Thekedarni then remembers the incident when Saroj, in her unconscious state, had once called her "Ma". Saroj, Guddo and Tilak arrives for dinner at Thekedarni's place. Thekedarni gives a saree to Saroj.
Later Tilak says to Saroj that he will start the search of her husband Dr. Prakash as early as possible. He adds that since everyone is planning to accompany them, he needs to avoid them and some how go alone.
Pramod hears this and feels that Tilak has not yet changed himself and that he is still in love with Seema.
Saroj and Tilak are packing for their honeymoon when Reshma enters the room and asks Saroj to take care of Tilak.
Nanda, Kukku, Pramod and Kanta are also ready and load their luggage. An emotional Tilak tells Saroj that after she leaves, her memories will always remain with him.
Pramod shows Saroj Seema's photograph. Everyone's ready to leave.
Guddo goes to Rashmi's house. Rashmi receives a call from Digen Verma. There is a hot discussion between Guddo and Digen and she asks him to come forward and show himself. Sukhi comes and Guddo realises that he is Digen Verma.
Guddo tells Sukhi not to pursue her, as both their families are enemies. Kukku, Nanda, Kanta, Pramod, Saroj and Tilak are all looking for their seat numbers in the train. Saroj and Tilak settles themselves. Then Pramod comes up with the idea for arranging a separate coupe for Saroj and Tilak since they are the honeymoon couple.
They request Gurmeet Singh and his wife to let Tilak and Saroj use the coupe. Gurmeet Singh agrees but his wife refuses. Later, they meet two army men and convince them to exchange their seats.
Back at Tilak's house, Sukhi comes disguised as a salesman. He takes blessings from Dadaji.
Later, Guddo realises that the salesman is none other than Sukhi. She thinks that Namita too is involved with Sukhi in his plan and she yells at her.
Saroj wakes up from her sleep and finds Tilak sitting and thinking. As they start chatting, she tells him that she won't be able to forget their relationship.
Rakesh is Tilak's younger brother but he doesn't live with the rest of the family. Years before he had been asked to leave home by Baldev Chopra because he was working with the Uppal family, Baldev's enemies. He comes home after many years and everyone is shocked to see him.
Rakesh complains that nobody informed him about his Baldev's death. Dadaji asks Rakesh why has come after all these years.
Guddo updates Rakesh about Tilak's marriage with Pushpa. He says that his father has spoilt two more lives.
Reshma hears this and says that these things are decided by destiny. But Rakesh says that he doesn't believe in destiny.
Reshma tells Dadi that Rakesh is not happy with Tilak's marriage. When Tilak calls home, she tells him about Rakesh's dislike towards Pushpa as well.
There is a conflict between Namita and Guddo. Guddo says that Sukhi's father was the main cause of their enemity.
Rakesh goes to Sunaina and convinces her that she is his only love.
When Tilak and Saroj return from their dinner with Sardar he tells Saroj that he will find a place for himself for the night. But when he opens the door he finds that Pramod, Kukku, Kanta and Nanda have decorated the bed for their first night.
Tilak is aware that Saroj is uncomfortable with him in the same room. So he goes outside where Pramod offers him a drink. After having his drink, Tilak goes back to his room.
Kanta scolds Pramod for offering alcohol to Tilak. When Saroj realises that Tilak is drunk, she gets angry with him. But Tilak tells her that he was tensed and he tells her about his brother Rakesh who is not happy for their marriage.
Meanwhile, Rakesh is searching for the wedding album in Tilak's cupboard. But Guddo tells him that there is no wedding album as the marriage had taken place in a temple. Rakesh says that this is not a marriage but a curse. Reshma hears the conversation.
Tilak is asleep and dreams that Seema is going to leave him. He pleads with her not to go, as he cannot live without her. And he absently reaches out to Saroj's hand and tells her all this.
Tilak holds Saroj's hand while asleep thinking it is Seema - and says that he loves her. Saroj slaps him. Tilak wakes up from his sleep and realises his mistake and asks Saroj to forgive him. Upset, he leaves the room.
When he comes back he finds Saroj asleep on the bed, so he sleeps on the ground. In the morning, when Pramod enters the room he asks Saroj why Tilak slept on the floor.
Later Saroj asks Tilak to search for her husband as soon as possible. Next day everyone leaves with Sardar and his wife for hunting.
Back home, Jagdish Uppal asks Sukhi to get engaged with Bhardwaj's daughter. Sukhi tries to avoid it and changes the topic.
In the jungle, two forest officers question Sardar about the license for his gun. Pramod and Kukku come at the right time and defuse the matter. That is when the forest officer, Sudarshan sees Saroj.
Saroj is also shocked to see Sudarshan and tries to hide herself behind Tilak. Later Sudarshan lets them go.
Tilak asks Saroj if she knows the forest officer. And Saroj tells him that Sudarshan is the same guy whom she was going to marry.
Saroj then remembers when Sudarshan had asked for a motorcycle in dowry from Indrajeet, Saroj's brother. Having heard that, Saroj refuses to marry Sudarshan. That is when, Dr Prakash enters the picture and agrees to marry Saroj.
Back home, Guddo tells Sukhi that she won't go against her family's wishes. Rakesh abuses Pushpa and Reshma slaps him.
Kanta asks Pramod to take a snap of Tilak and Saroj. Pramod asks Tilak and Saroj to hold each other but Saroj gets angry and leaves.
A drunk Sudarshan vows to take revenge on Saroj because she insulted him in front of so many people. He also wonders why she has changed her name to Saroj and why she is with Tilak.
Pramod is still upset by Saroj's behaviour. Kukku and Kanta ask him to forgive Saroj as she is till new to them.
Sudarshan comes up to Saroj and starts questioning her and holds her hand. Pramod sees this and beats up Sudarshan. Kukku, Nanda and Kanta try to control Pramod.
Then, Tilak, Sardar and his wife comfort a scared Saroj. Later Sudarshan is sent to police station.
An employee of Baldev leaks out the secrets of the company to Uppal. Guddo calls up Sukhi and asks him to meet her. Saroj and Tilak go to Pramod and Saroj apologises to him. Pramod says that he will forgive only when he can take a snap of Saroj and Tilak.
Guddo tells Sukhi that she doesn't love him, and they can never be with each other because of the family enemity. Sukhi gets angry at this and takes her to his house and shows her his aunt Jyoti who is mentally ill and the cause for which is Guddo's father Baldev Chopra.
Everyone at home is excited, as their bhabhi will soon be back from her honeymoon. Guddo is sitting on her bed in her room. Guddo remembers Sukhi and gets upset. Reshma enters the room and Guddo asks her the reason for the fight between her dad and Uppal.
Sunaina tells Rakesh that she wants to get married as soon as possible.
Everyone welcomes Tilak and Saroj. Rakesh comes home and humiliates Saroj. Tilak and Saroj are talking about Seema in their room. Tilak comes to Rakesh and tells him that he is happy to see Rakesh back.
They talk about Seems and Tilak confesses that he is still in love with her. Pramod overhears the conversation.
Pramod comments that Tilak should be ashamed of himself for still loving Seema. Rakesh replies that he cannot see someone else as his bhabhi other than Seema.
Saroj overhears the conversation. Pramod says to Saroj that her husband doesn't love her, he loves someone else. Saroj says that she knows about it and she has faith in her love that one day Tilak himself will come back to her.
Guddo is waiting for Sukhi's call when Rashmi enters and Guddo tells her that Sukhi is trying to speak to her. At this Rashmi informs Guddo that Sukhi has told her everything and now he has gone with his aunt for her treatment.
Uppal and Sukhi take Jyoti to the doctor who says that Jyoti's health has improved and she will soon recover. Uppal blames Chopra family for Jyoti's condition.
Pramod and Kanta decide to leave for their home the next day. Meanwhile, Tiwari leaks out the secret to Uppal and Sukhi is surprised to see Tiwari with Uppal. Uppal says that with the help of Tiwari he will soon cause the downfall of Chopra's company.
Sunaina asks Rakesh to come along with her to Uppal's house for dinner, but Rakesh declines and says that he has to go home since Pramod and Kanta are leaving.
Uppal calls up Sunaina and asks whether she is coming to dinner. Sunaina replies that Rakesh has left for his home.
Uppal asks Rakesh to go to Indore and look after the factory. Tiwari informs Kukku that the company is running through a bad phase. He suggests that a legal notice be sent to the debtors. He also tells Kukku that Baldev had been ready to sell off hundis.
At home, Pramod is waiting for Kukku to tell him the status of the flight tickets. Back at office, Kukku tells Dadajee that all the secrets has reached Uppal. He doubts Tiwari, Sharma and Fernandes to haved leaked out the secrets.
Nanda calls up Kukku and asks him to come home as soon as possible. Rakesh calls up Seema and speaks to her. Tilak enters the room and asks Rakesh not to disrespect Saroj. He asks Rakesh whether he expects Tilak to divorce Saroj and marry Seema. Rakesh replies that its too late since Seema is getting engaged next week.
Tilak informs Saroj about Seema's engagment. Tilak takes a call for Pramod. It is Suleman who tells him not to enter Lucknow unless Pramod carries his money with him. So Pramod decides not to leave for Lucknow.
Kanta is shocked to hear that they are not leaving for Lucknow. Pramod asks Kukku to cancel the tickets. Reshma asks the reason for cancelling the tickets. Kanta immediately makes up the story and says that Pramod's friend is coming on a business trip and so he has asked Pramod to wait here.
Tilak informs Saroj that he will have to go alone to meet Seema. Pramod is tensed and is looking out for matchbox to light his cigarette. Just as he is about to enter their room he sees Saroj sleeping on the bed and Tilak on the floor. He leaves immediately, but not before Saroj sees him.
Next day, Pramod again recieves the call from Suleman. He realises that someone is listening to the conversation from a parallel line and he finds out that it is Saroj.
He asks Saroj not to mention it to anyone. In the police station inspector asks Tilak to go to Ratangad to look for Dr Prakash. Kukku calls up Dadajee and asks him to come to office as soon as possible because there has been an income tax raid in the office.
Pramod also accompanies him and sorts out the problem. Tilak informs Saroj that they will have to leave for Ratangad, but Saroj says that before that he should meet Seema. Kukku asks Pramod to help him in the business and take over as the MD of the company. But Dadajee is not happy with this decision of Kukku.
Tilak goes to Seema's house. Engagement preparations are going on. Seema's parents-in-law are sitting with her parents. Tilak enters and says that he wants to meet Seema.
Tilak meets Seema and tells her about his father's death. Seema is shocked to hear this news. There Reshma asks about Tilak to Saroj. Saroj says that he has gone to meet his friend. But Pramod knows that he must have gone to meet Seema.
Chauhan goes to police station to meet his son Sudarshan. Sudarshan tells Chauhan that he had met Saroj but she has changed her name to Pushpa and she was not with Dr. Prakash but she was with someone else. Tilak tells everything to Seema and also says that he still loves her.
Tilak also says that Saroj is not his wife he will soon try to find her husband Dr. Prakash. He adds that Saroj also knows about Seema. Seema tells her parents that she will wait for Tilak. Tiwari informs Uppal that Chopra's son-in-law has come and now he is the M.D of the company.
Tiwari tells Uppal about Pramod that how smartly he had handled Saxena - Income tax officer. Sudharshan promises to find how Pushpa has turned into Saroj.
Saroj tells Reshma that Tilak has gone out for some work. Pramod tells Saroj he knows. Tilak has gone to meet Seema. Dada tells Dadi he not happy because Kuku has made Pramod MD of the company.
Kanta overhears Sukhi is thinking of Guddo when Uppal shouts at the nurse for not feeding Jyoti properly. Later Tilak comes.
When Pramod wants to know where did he go Tilak refuses to tell him. Kuku and Pramod are having a drink in celebration of Pramod being the new MD of the company where Pramod tells Kuku that Tialk has not forgotten Seema yet.
He takes Kuku to Tilak's room. When they reach there they sees Tialk and Saroj holding each others hand.
Pramod is shocked to see them. Seema is thinking of Tilak and goes into flashback when Tilak comes to tell her he loves her. Later Tilak and Saroj reach Rattangard police station.
Saroj finds Dr Prakash's coat and tells Tilak that it belongs to him. Saroj goes into her marriage flashback. The hawaldar informs that finding the coat and not the person is not proof enough that he is dead.
Jyoti is playing with her dolls when Sukhi comes and makes Jyoti understand that Rashmi is seeing everything. Later she tells Sukhi that Guddo wants to meet him. Saroj tells Tilak to call Seema.
Later Seema tells Rakesh that Tilak had called up and said he is coming to take her to his house. Tilak is told by the inspector that Dr Prakash was in search of his wife and one day slipped and fell in the river and died, and that he could not be saved. Hearing this Saroj faints and is admitted to a hospital.
Rakesh comes home and starts talking bad about Saroj to Kanta. Reshma gets angry on Rakesh and he leaves. Tilak calls and speaks to Kanta and Reshma, and tells them he is fine and will return soon.
Seema call for Tilak, Reshma tells her Tilak has gone out with his wife. Seema puts the phone down. Hearing this Mr Khanna gets angry on Seema. Later Mrs Khanna comes and controls the problem.
Guddo tells Sukhi to forgive her he leaves. Tilak calls, Seema is about to pick the phone. The hawaldar comes and tells Tilak that Saroj is fine. Tilak puts the phone down and Seema misses the call. Saroj is thinking of all the flashes of Dr Prakash coat & Inspector's voice saying that they couldn't save Dr Prakash. Saroj is mentally depressed and eats sleeping pills. Tilak comes and sees Saroj lying on the ground unconcious. Mr & Mrs Bhalla come to see Seema but she refuses to meet them. Mr Khanna get angry and goes to hit her. Mr Bhalla stops Mr Khanna and tells him he should get Seema married to person she loves.
Tilak is in the hospital thinking of Seema. He then makes Saroj understand that what she is doing is not right and is not the solution. She later tells him to drop her to her brothers house and she will live her life thereafter.
Tilak call home Guddo picks up Tilak tells her he will be coming home soon later Guddo tells Reshma Tilak had called up & will be coming home soon Reshma tells Guddo if anyone will ask About Tilak & Saroj tell them they are fine Rakesh overhears.
Tilak tells Saroj everyone is waiting for her. Rakesh tells Seema Tilak is playing with her life Seema tells Rakesh he doesn't know anything about Tilak & Seema and Rakesh leaves later Seema tells her her mother that Saroj is not Tilak real wife.
A lady Doctor is asking Saroj if she is having any problem with her husband. Later the inspector tells Tilak and Saroj that they have to come with him to the police station because it is a sucide case.
On the way to the station they are seen by the same sardar - Gurmeet and his wife see Tilak and Saroj been taken by the police. Rakesh goes to tell Sunaina about what Seema was speaking. They have a fight and he leaves. Gurmeet and his wife free them from the police.
Reshma is praying to God when Rakesh tells her that Saroj is not Tilak's wife. Reshma tells God till she doesn't find out what the problem is, she will not sleep and not let God also sleep.
Tilak thanks Sardar and tells him he has to leave. Next morning Kanta wakes Reshma who is sleeping next to the God Temple.
Kuku tells Reshma & Kantan that Tilak and Saroj are fine and spent the night with Gurmeet Singh.Saroj tells Tilak to drop her at her brother house. Roshan calls Khanna and tells him can he come to meet Seema. Tilak brings Saroj to her brother's house where Kaka welcomes Saroj but his wife starts bitching about Saroj and Tilak. Roshan comes to Seema house later Saroj tells Tilak to call Seema. When he calls, Khanna picks the phone and tells him she gone with her fiance and tells not to call here again.
Roshan, who is at Seema's house, is about to leave when Seema enters and tells him about Tilak. On the other end, Tilak tells Saroj that Seema has gone with her future husband and is about to leave when Saroj tells Tilak to stay the night and leave the next morning.
Kaki and a lady come knocking on the door and Tilak opens the door and they starts bitching about Saroj & Tilak when Tilak gets angry on them. Saroj tells him to leave her house. Everybody in the Chopra family are waiting for Saroj. Tilak calls Seema and tells her he is on his way to meet her and take her to his House. Seema is happy she tells her mother and later calls Roshan and tells him about Tilak. On the other end Chauhan comes to remove Saroj from her house saying he bought it from the person her brother had sold for her marriage and throw her out of the house.
Seema tells her mother she wants to meet Tilak. Her mother tells her to take her father's permission. Mr Khanna gets angry hearing this.
Tilak is at a taxi stand where he sees Saroj waiting for him. Later they both leave for Mumbai. Seema calls Roshan and tells him to come fast. Nanda is preparing to welcome Tilak and Saroj. Rakesh, who is sitting near Nanda, is leaving when Nanda tells him to wait. He says he has got some preparations to make. Tilak & Saroj are on the way when Tilak tells Saroj to change her look from a widow to a married woman.
At that moment Rakesh sees both of them and insults Saroj and leaves. Seema is waiting & worried for Tilak. Roshan is trying to make her understand Rakesh tells Reshma that Saroj is a widow and not Tilak's wife. Later Tilak & Saroj come and see her dressed as a married women. Rakesh is shocked and leaves.
Everybody is very happy to see Saroj again. Seema is worried Roshan is making her understand that Tilak must be on his way. Kanta is telling Dada & Dadi they plan on going to Lucknow and she also tells Reshma & Nanda about her leaving.
Saroj is asking Guddo about Digen Verma. Guddo tells there is nothing between them. Thakedharni tells her husband about Saroj's problems because of Tilak & Seema. Saroj tells Tilak to call Seema. Later they all are having dinner. Seema is worried when Roshan calls Tilak house and speaks to him. Hearing this Seema takes the phone from Roshan and tells Tilak not to ever call her up in life. She bangs the phone.
We resume from the previous episode when Seema bangs the phone. Pramod wants to know who had called up. Kanta gets angry on Pramod for asking Tilak who had called up. Seema is crying, Roshan gets water for her and when he returns he sees Seema isn't there. Saroj tells Tilak to call Seema and try to meet her. Kanta tells Pramod that they should leave for Lucknow. Pramod gets angry.
Later Roshan gets Seema back and informs Seema parents not to tell anybody about this. Tilak is trying to call Seema who is sleeping and can't hear the phone rings because her father has removed the telephone wire Dada tells Tilak to join office. Kanta tells Pramod is joining office and they should soon leave for Lucknow.
Dada is explaining the work to Tilak. Seema tries to speak to her father Mr Khanna. But he avoids her and leaves. Mrs. Khanna consoles her. Pramod is unhappy but still he compromises with the situation. Saroj calls up Tilak and tells him to meet Seema. Tiwari enters with some official papers to be signed by Pramod. But Pramod says that now Tilak has joined the office and this authority has been given to him. Tilak signs the papers. Thekedarni assures Reshma that everything will be all right not to worry.
On the other side at Uppal's house, Bhardwaj comes to see Sukhi and to fix the marriage of their daughter. At the office Tilak is trying to call Seema, but Pramod arrives and Tilak disconnects the phone. Pramod comes to know that Tilak had called Seema. In the meantime Roshan tells Seema that he is helping her out only because of their friendship. Tilak tells Saroj that he will again try and meet Seema. Pramod tells Kanta that Tilak had called up Seema. Kanta is annoyed. Over there Seema is talking to her mother and Thekedarni enters.
Thekedarni insults Seema. Guddo gets flashes of Sukhi. Rashmi tells her that she is in love with Sukhi. Rashmi calls up Sukhi and tells him to meet Guddo once. But Sukhi refuses. There is a hot discussion between Mr. and Mrs. Khanna on Seema's topic.
On the other hand Thekedar tells to Thekedarni that she should not have been to Seema's house. Jyoti tells Rashmi to search a bride for Sukhi. Thekedar tries to cheer up Thekedarni. Saroj tells Tilak to meet Seema. Guddo tells Rashmi to somehow ask Sukhi to meet Guddo. Thekedarni tells Reshma that she had been to Seema's place. Saroj hears the conversation. In the office Tilak is speaking to Seema when Pramod enters. Saroj calls up Tilak and asks him to come home immediately. There Chouhan goes to meet his son in lock-up.(Flash back). Saroj informs Tilak that Thekedarni had been to Seema's place. In the early morning Nanda comes and tells Tilak to sell her drama tickets. Tilak refuses. Then she goes to Kukku and Pramod. They too refuse and suggest her to go to Dada, Dadi. Dada promises her that he will sell off tickets for her. Tilak goes to Thekedarni's house and yells at her. Thekedar consoles her. Saroj also tries to cool down the situation by saying that she is her daughter.
Dadi tells Saroj that she hopes for grand children. A repentant Saroj tells Tilak that she is not worthy of the love she is getting from his family.
Tilak calls up Seema and says that he wants to meet her. Pramod tells Kukku to dismiss Tiwari. But Kukku says that first he will have to speak to Bauji. Rashmi informs Guddo about Sukhi. Dada refuses to dismiss Tiwari and adds that never take your enemy for granted. Guddo hears this and is tensed.
Seema is waiting for Tilak in the restaurant. But when Tilak arrives, she tells him that not to meet her again and she leaves with Roshan. Rakesh enters and tells Tilak that he will definitely bring the Chopra family's daughter-in-law.
Seema tells Roshan that she wants Tilak to realise his responsibilities. Sukhi waits for Guddo but she doesn't turns up. Rashmi calls up Guddo who tells her that due to enemity between both the families Sukhi and she can never meet.
She keeps the phone and finds Saroj standing behind. She hugs Saroj and starts crying.
Guddo leaves and Rakesh enters. Rakesh abuses Saroj. Reshma hears it and asks Saroj what that was all about. Saroj avoids the question and says that Rakesh is in love with someone.
Tiwari tells Uppal that Pramod doubts him. Tilak comes home and Saroj tells him that Rakesh had seen him (Tilak) and Seema in the restaurant.
Rashmi asks Sukhi about his marriage. Mr & Mrs Bhardwaj comes along with their daughter Malini. Malini turns out to be Sukhi's friend. Later Rashmi informs Guddo about Sukhi's engagement.
Sukhi meets Guddo in canteen where she tells him that the enemity between their families can never turn into friendship. Sukhi promises her that he will never meet her and call her up since now he is getting married.
Seema asks her father to forgive her for what she had done. Saroj tells Tilak to call up Seema but later she herself calls up. Seema's father says that she has gone out of town for six months.
Saroj tells Tilak to buy a house for her so that she can move out. But Tilak questions her and asks how can she call herself his friend and still leave him.
Sunaina calls up at Chopra's house for Rakesh. Saroj takes the call and tells Sunaina that Rakesh loves her a lot. Sunaina asks Saroj not to interfere, as Rakesh doesn't accept her as his Bhabhi.
Tilak asks Pramod for the formalities to sanction the loan. Pramod is suspicious about Tilak as he feels that he is taking the money for Seema.
Saroj tells Rakesh that Sunaina had called and then offers to help him marry Sunaina. Rakesh also asks her not to interfere.
Rashmi tells Guddo to speak to her mother about Sukhi. Saroj goes to Reshma's room and tries to convince her to let Rakesh marry Sunaina. Thekedarni comes in at that time and invites Reshma for a pooja. Reshma refuses as she is a widow and suggests that Thekedarni take Saroj instead.
Saroj is upset. Tilak asks her the reason. Saroj tells him that all are expecting a child from her. Meanwhile Reshma enters and tells Saroj that she has to go to attend the pooja at Thekedarni's place.
Saroj is shocked to hear that being a widow she has to attend this pooja. Tilak convinces her that whatever is happening is destined. Guddo comes to Reshma to talk about Sukhi. But before she can say anything Reshma is upset and tells her about Rakesh and Sunaina. So Guddo decides not to say anything at that time.
Sukhi calls up Rashmi and asks her why Guddo has not yet called. Rashmi tells him that he should expect her call any moment. Uppal enters and tells Sukhi that he wants Sukhi to get married before leaving to go to the front. Sukhi is depressed and calls up Guddo and tells her that he won't call her up again.
Meanwhile there is a hot discussion that takes place between Nanda and Kukku who is getting late for work. Bharadwaj's family comes to Sukhi's place. Uppal tells Sukhi to touch his in-laws feet. He unwillingly does so and goes inside. Malini goes with him and asks if he loves someone else. She then says that she will try to convince her parents against the marriage.
Malini then goes to her parents and says that they should not decide on the marriage in a hurry. And that she wants to give some time to Sukhi.
Saroj tells Tilak that she doesn't wish to go for the pooja. But Tilak again manages to convince her to go for the pooja.
Kukku brings a paranda for Nanda, but he realises that Nanda has cut her hair. Saroj tells Tilak that if he doesnt come, even she won't go for the pooja. Everyone pulls her leg about it, saying how much she loves her husband. Saroj runs to her room with tears in her eyes.
Thekedarni is busy with the arrangements for the pooja with Thekedar and Pandit. Roshan tells his father that he has started loving Seema. His father reminds him that Seema loves someone else. Roshan convinces his father that he will be careful.
Reshma selects a saree for Saroj and remembers that Baldev had really liked that saree. Saroj takes the saree and rushes to her room with tears in her eyes. In the office Pramod tells Kukku that everyone is going to attend pooja along with their husbands and Tilak has still not come. Pramod doubts that Tilak must have gone to meet Seema. During the pooja, Thekedarni is giving sindoor to everyone but Saroj throws it away.
Nanda goes to convince Saroj but in vain. Thekedarni says that the pooja will start only if Saroj joins in. When Saroj comes back home Reshma questions her. Saroj tells her that she had told them that she doesn't wish to go for pooja and she asks Reshma to leave her alone.
Tilak is with Chauhan when Chauhan insults Saroj and Tilak beats him up. Chauhan tells him that if he wants to buy the house then he has to pay five lakhs.
Reshma tells Dadi that Saroj is upset. Dadi tells her that she will speak to Pushpa. Dadi tells Pushpa that everything will be fine and tells her to keep faith in God.
Everyone at Thekedarni's place is talking about Saroj's attitude. Thekedarni feels bad and she starts crying. Nanda and Kanta enter and Nanda tells Reshma that whatever Saroj did was wrong she should not have misbehaved at Thekedarni's place. Thekedar brings adoption papers for Pushpa and hands them over to Thekedarni. Thekedarni tears the papers.
Reshma tells Saroj that Thekedarni was not wrong and tells Saroj to put sindoor in Tilak's name. Saroj goes out weeping. Reshma follows her. Nanda and Kanta ask Reshma what had happened. Nanda tells Reshma to ask Tilak talk to Saroj. Tilak enters and Reshma tells him the whole thing. Tilak is confused about what to do?
Just then the phone rings, Billo picks it up and says that there is no one named Saroj. Tilak is stunned to hear that and he immediately runs and picks up the phone.
Tilak goes to Saroj's room and tells her to apply sindoor. Saroj is shocked. Tilak then tells her that her uncle had called up saying that Dr. Prakash is still alive.
Saroj takes the sindoor from Tilak. Later they both go to Reshma and Nanda and Saroj apologises what her earlier behaviour. Then they all go to Thekedarni's place. Saroj apologises to Thekedarni and then the pooja starts.
A telephonic conversation takes place between Khanna and Seema's aunt about Seema. Tilak enters during a conversation between Roshan and Khanna, and asks Roshan for Seema. Khanna gets angry. Roshan tells him not to lose his temper and sends him inside. Roshan tells Tilak that whatever he has done was wrong.
Tilak gets angry and says that Roshan has no right to ask about Seema. Then Roshan points out that he is Seema's fiancee.
Khanna comes out of the room and tells Roshan not to listen to Tilak. Pramod receives a call from Suleman Bhai. Kanta asks Pramod when they can go back home since she is missing her kids. Rakesh and Sunaina have a fight where Rakesh tells Sunaina that she should learn to dress aesthetically from his Bhabhi.
Tilak tells Gupta that he will come and meet Dr Prakash. Meanwhile Pramod enters and asks Tilak to sign on the loan papers. Tiwari goes to Uppal and tells him that Tilak had signed the papers even though Dadaji is the only one who has the authority to sign.
Tiwari then goes and tells Dadaji. Dadaji says that at least Tiwari should have checked the papers. He scolds Tilak on how he could have signed the papers without going through it. Pramod is annoyed with it and he exits.
Pramod packs his bag and tells Kanta that he doesn't wish to stay here anymore. Tilak enters the room. Saroj asks him about the commotion in the hall. Tilak tells her that it was due to his ignorance that he had signed few documents without reading them.
Saroj comments that being a sincere person how could he have done this. Tilak explains to her that he was tensed as he had been to Seema's place where he met her fiance?Roshan. Saroj is shocked to hear this.
Saroj tells Tilak to go and cheer up Pramod. Pramod is about to leave when they enter and convince him to stay back. Pramod meets Rakesh and tells him that he could at least have wished him. Rakesh yells at him and Saroj and Tilak come over the pacify him.
Saroj asks Sarangi to take her to Sunaina's place. Guddo goes to Rashmi's place where Rashmi tells her that her marriage has been fixed. Rashmi is upset. Guddo tries to console her but Rashmi tells her to console Sukhi. Guddo denies and says that their relation will never work out.
Sukhi is looking at Guddo's photo when Rakesh enters and asks him what he is hiding. Sukhi escapes him and goes inside. Rakesh is about to see the photograph when Sunaina calls up and tells Rakesh to come to her place immediately.
Rakesh reaches and finds Sunaina in a saree. He asks her not to trust Saroj as she is very shrewd. Sunaina says that Saroj is a very nice person. On the other hand Tilak receives a call from Gupta that Dr. Prakash is alive.
Everyone compel Dada to accept the proposal of Rakesh and Sunaina's marriage. Sunaina tells Uppal that she will marry Rakesh, and settle scores with the Chopra family for whatever they have done till now with the Uppal family.
Tilak informs Saroj about Dr Prakash. Gupta from National Times calls up Tilak and informs him that he will be reaching there soon. Tilak hears Dr Prakash's voice and informs Saroj that Dr Prakash has arrived.
Tilak and Saroj reach the National Times office. On the other hand, Sunny (Seema's cousin) arrives. Seema is missing Tilak and her aunt tries to cheer her up.
Saroj meets all the four men claiming to be Dr Prakash. Gupta receives a call from the fifth Dr Prakash. He speaks to Tilak and tells him that he won't be able to come since he is going out of India.
Tilak and Saroj return home. Sunaina tells Rakesh about the goodness of his bhabhi. Rashmi comes to Guddo's place to invite everyone for her wedding. Reshma tells Saroj to go with Tilak to Uppal's place with Rakesh's proposal for Sunaina.
Uppal gives Sukhi a card. Sukhi calls up Reshma and tells her that he cannot forget Guddo. Saroj and Tilak come to Uppal's place. Saroj overhears Sukhi saying that he loves Guddo.
Saroj insists that Uppal come and speak to Dada about Sunaina's proposal. Saroj tells Guddo that she has found out who her Digen Verma is. And that she will make sure that they get married.
Tilak and Saroj convince Dada for Rakesh and Sunaina's marriage. Dada says that he will agree only if Uppal comes to his house with his niece's proposal. Rakesh tells Reshma that Saroj should not interfere in his matter. Tilak gets annoyed.
Sudarshan tells Chauhan that he is eager to come out of jail. Tilak tells Saroj that Dr Prakash is waiting outside. Saroj runs outside. Dada, Dadi and Reshma are shocked to see this.
Pramod receives a call from his kids. Kanta forces him to go to Lucknow. Sukhi convinces Uppal to go to Rakesh's house and speak about Sunaina's marriage.
Pramod receives a parcel from Uppal. Kukku tells Pramod to go and meet Saxena. Sukhi calls up Rakesh and informs him that he and Uppal are coming to Rakesh's house to talk about the marriage. Rakesh informs Guddo that Sukhi will soon leave for the front. Guddo is tensed.
Everyone is waiting for Uppal. Pramod and Kukku goes for a meeting with Saxena. Saroj consoles Guddo. Uppal arrives and as he is about to park his car Pramod and Kukku's car comes in front of his car and they have a fight.
Uppal and Sukhi return home. Pramod and Kukku also return and tell everyone about what had happened. Saroj comforts Reshma and tells her that she will soon unite both the families. Kukku agrees to help out Saroj in this noble work.
Rakesh accuses Saroj of being the cause of messing things up. But Sukhi and Sunaina don't agree with him. Kukku and Saroj go to meet Uppal to clear the misunderstanding. But Uppal is not ready to listen to them. When Kukku asks Uppal to forget about their enemity, Uppal takes him to Jyoti's room.
Kukku is shocked to see Jyoti who is still waiting for her groom. Jyoti sees Kukku and starts screeming and she asks Uppal to stop Kukku. Saroj cheers up Rakesh and adds that they will soon convince his father-in-law.
Nanda taunts Kukku for going to Uppal's place. Kukku tells Nanda that he is responsible for Jyoti's present condition. Nanda is shocked to hear this.
Kukku receives a call from Sukhi saying that Jyoti's health has worsened. Kukku tells Sukhi that he will come there as soon as possible. Nanda overhears this and tells Kukku to stay away from Jyoti.
Rakesh tells Sunaina that he won't mind having a court marriage. Kukku remembers the time when he had brought Nanda and disclosed that he would like to marry her.
Uppal blames Kukku for worsening Jyoti's health and adds that he won't forgive him. Uppal also remembers the time when Baldev had told him that the Jyoti and Kukku's wedding cannot take place.
Saroj calls up at Seema's house and comes to know that Seema has gone to Mahabaleshwar. She asks Tilak to leave immediately to Mahabaleshwar. Tilak is about to leave in a taxi when he receives a call from Gupta of National Times who informs him about the arrival of Dr Prakash - the fifth one.
Saroj receives a call from Sukhi. Pramod, Kanta, Kukku and Nanda enter from behind. On hearing Jyoti's name Nanda gets enraged and shouts at Saroj blaming her for encouraging Kukku to meet Jyoti.
Reshma tells Kukku that if Nanda wants respect from the younger members, she should learn to respect them in return. Pramod tells Dada to take charge as the matter is now getting out of hands. Reshma tries to console Saroj who is sitting in the temple.
Kukku tries to have a talk with Nanda. But all in vain, she blames Pushpa. Saroj overhears the conversation. Dada tells Kukku to apologise to Nanda.
Tilak comes and tells Saroj that he had gone to meet Dr Prakash. He reveals the truth that Dr Prakash has remarried after the tragic accident. Saroj is shocked and she faints. Tilak gives Saroj the visiting card of Dr Prakash and tells her that she could speak to him if she feels like.
Everyone decides to have the chuda rasam for Saroj. Saroj calls up Dr Prakash but is unable to speak to him and she disconnects. Vishakha teases Dr Prakash that he is getting blank calls from his girlfriend. Saroj tries to call up Dr. Prakash again. This time Vishakha picks up the phone. Saroj is shocked to hear her voice.
Nanda and Reshma come in and tell Saroj that they are planning to carry out Chuda Rasam. Nanda explains to Saroj that she loves her husband a lot and doesn't want to lose him at any cost. Tilak comes and tells Saroj to call up at Dr Prakash's house.
Tilak speaks to Vishaka and tells her that he wants to meet her. Sukhi calls up Kukku and tells him that Jyoti's health has worsened. The doctor is trying to give an injection to Jyoti. Uppal is shattered looking at Jyoti's condition. Kukku comes in.
Jyoti is happy to see Kukku. The doctor informs Uppal that Jyoti is showing signs of improvement after seeing Kukku.
Saroj is about to call up Dr Prakash but then she stops. Everyone is busy with the prepartions for Chuda Rasam. Tilak comes in and tells everyone that he has to go out with Saroj.
Tilak brings Saroj to Dr Prakash's house. Vishakha receives both of them. Tilak tells Vishakha that Saroj is Dr Prakash's first wife. Vishakha is shocked.
Vishakha goes to another room to call Dr Prakash. Vishakha wants to tell him about Saroj, but is unable to do so as Dr Prakash says he is busy.
Vishakha informs Saroj and Tilak that she couldn't tell her husband about Saroj. Vishakha then tells them about how she met Dr Prakash and how they got married.
Reshma tells Thekedarni about Pushpa. But when Nanda comes in, Reshma keeps quite. Nanda tells Reshma that she should not be so attached to Pushpa.
Vishakha tells Saroj that now she doesn't have to shed tears anymore. Vishakha calls her father and packs her bag. Tilak tells Saroj that she will leave the house soon and, his family will forget her. Vishakha comes out and announces that she is leaving the house. Saroj is shocked.

Vishakha packs her bag and is about to leave. Tilak and Saroj try to stop her. Just then the doorbell rings and Dr Prakash comes in. Saroj realises that he is not the same Dr Prakash.
The kids and Dadaji are awaiting Saroj's return while they decorate the house. Saroj tells Tilak that they have been saved from making a big blunder, she cant imagine what would have happened if Vishakha had left the house. She tells him that he should have checked, if he is the same Dr Prakash before taking her there.
Back home everyone is busy applying mehendi when Saroj enters. Nanda gets wild at Saroj. The doctor calls up Kukku and tells him that Jyoti's condition has worsend and requests him to come, just then Nanda arrives and Kukku refuses to go and keeps the phone. Saroj remembers her own wedding.
It's time to remove the chuda and Reshma is uncomfortable as the chuda is generally removed by the father-in-law. Kukku comes forward and offers to perform the ritual. Dadi then says that even the bride's brother contributes in the rasam. Pramod tells Saroj that if she wishes she could make him her brother, Saroj willingly accepts.
Later, Saroj asks Tilak to promise that he will soon go meet Seema. Kanta asks Nanda to accompany her to bring a gift for Rashmi. But Nanda refuses. Uppal calls up Kukku and asks if he can come to the hospital. But Kukku says that he can't. Kukku keeps the phone down and is tensed. Saroj comes to him and asks what happened. Saroj tells him that he should go to see Jyoti and explains him that he needs to re-establish the relationship with the Uppal family for Sunaina and Rakesh.
Kukku then changes his decision. Reshma who has been listening to this conversation is pleased to have a daughter-in-law like Pushpa. Nanda and Kanta leave to get the present, they sit in an auto and Nanda hurts her toe. Kukku goes to meet Jyoti in the hospital. He asks her to take her medicines on time, he gives her medicine.
Saroj asks Uppal the reason for his happiness. Uppal tells Saroj that he feels his sister's health is improving due to Kukku. Kukku tells Uppal to forget his past enmity. The nurse brings Jyoti on a wheel chair. Kukku is talking to Jyoti when suddenly Nanda and Kanta enter from behind. Nanda is shocked.
Guddo asks Dada and Dadi where Bua is, as she wants to go to Rashmi's house. Just then, Nanda and Kanta come in and tell them about what happened at the hospital. Kukku comes in with Saroj. Nanda blames Saroj for encouraging Kukku to meet Jyoti.
Dada tells Reshma to control Saroj, he warns her that certain decisions are to be taken by the elders. Pramod and Tilak are talking in the office, just then Kanta calls Pramod and tells him about the fight between Nanda and Kukku.
Dadi comes and praises Saroj that today because of her Uppal has agreed for Rakesh and Sunaina's marriage. Rashmi is all decked up for her marriage. She calls Guddo and tells her about Sukhi's call and asks her to come as soon as possible.
Sonu and Billo ask Nanda to get them ready for the marriage. But Nanda loses her temper and shouts at them. Kanta tells Nanda not to behave like this with her kids.
Guddo tells Reshma that she is missing her father. Kukku overhears it and gets upset. He asks Kanta and Nanda to go with Guddo to Rashmi's wedding. Guddo tells Reshma that if today her dad had been alive then he would have accompanied nied her.
Saroj gets ready to go along with Guddo and she tells Sonu and Billo that she will get them ready. Nanda scolds Saroj and takes away her children. Nanda drags her children into her room and starts hitting them.
Kanta and Kukku try to stop Nanda and in the process, Kukku raises his hand on Nanda. Saroj overhears it. Kanta interrupts and stops Kukku. Nanda runs out telling Dadi that now she won't stay there anymore as no one loves her. Reshma enters, she tells Dadi that Nanda wants Saroj to leave the house and that she will leave the house with Pushpa.
Nanda and Reshma make up. Saroj tells Guddo to go to Rashmi's house as Rashmi won't be here for long. Pramod tells Tilak to control his wife. Saroj calls up Tilak and he tells her that he will come to pick them up from Rashmi's marriage.
Kanta requests Nanda and Kukku to accompany Guddo for Rashmi's wedding. Saroj is ready to accompany Guddo. She removes her necklace and puts it around Guddo's neck. She tells her that it is more important for her to look beautiful as Sukhi is also coming.
Kanta, Nanda and Kukku are ready to go, just then Kukku receives a call on his cell asking him to come to office urgently. He tells Nanda and Kanta to proceed as he can't go to the wedding. Nanda gets wild thinking that it was Jyoti's call and starts accussing Kukku.
Saroj and Guddo are sitting with Rashmi. Rashmi tells Saroj to promise her that Saroj will get Guddo married to the guy of Guddo's choice. Sukhi comes in with Malini and introduces Malini as his fiance. Saroj and Guddo are shocked.
Guddo starts crying and Saroj consoles her. Sukhi comes in and touches Saroj's feet. He says that she is his bhabhi too as Rakesh is going to get married to Sunaina.
Pramod and Tilak are sitting in the office. Just then Kukku calls from the bar. Pramod tells him that he will come and pick him up. Just as Tilak is leaving office Chauhan comes to talk to Tilak. He tells Tilak to arrange money as soon as possible. He tells Tilak that he really misses Saroj, Tilak does not like his way of talking and asks him to leave.
Everyone is playing antakshari and Guddo defeats Sukhi. Pramod brings in a drunk Kukku. Kanta opens the door. Dada sees the whole thing. Pramod and Kanta come to Nanda's room and try to make her understand.
The marriage ceremony is over and Sukhi asks Saroj if he can drop them. But Saroj says that they are waiting for Tilak. Just then Malini comes to talk to Guddo. She tells Guddo that she had heard a lot about her from Sukhi. She invites Guddo and Saroj for her wedding with Sukhi.
Sudarshan comes in and talks to Saroj. Saroj promptly sends Guddo in with an excuse to call up Tilak. She tells Sudarshan to leave, but he asks for money and Saroj promises to give it later.
Tilak comes there and sees Saroj talking to Sudarshan. By that time, Guddo comes out and tells Saroj that she tried calling Tilak. Just then Tilak comes, he tries to ask Saroj why Sudarshan had come. But Saroj cuts him midway.
At home, Saroj is sitting on the dining table. Tilak comes in expecting Saroj to tell him about Sudarshan. But Saroj doesn't say anything. Pramod and Kanta are talking about Kukku. With tears in her eyes she tells Pramod that she is worried for Kukku.
Kukku tries explaining to Nanda. Saroj comes in. Nanda taunts her and leaves. Sudarshan calls up. Saroj picks up the phone. Sudarshan asks Saroj to meet him, just then Tilak enters and Saroj suddenly puts the phone down saying that it's a wrong number and leaves. The phone rings again. Saroj turns back and looks at Tilak, she looks worried.
Tilak picks up the phone. It is Sudarshan, who on hearing Tilak's voice does not speak. Tilak puts down the phone. Saroj goes back to her room. In Uppal's office, Uppal is busy when Patel arrives and handsover the bag containing five lakhs. Patel leaves and Tiwari enters and he sees the bag. He tells Uppal that he has brought some secret papers of Chopra finance. Uppal tells him that now he doesn't need him anymore.
Rashmi calls up Guddo to tell her that Sukhi is leaving for Pune, for his engagement with Malini. Guddo tells Saroj everything and asks for her suggestion. But in turn, Saroj asks her to make her own decisions. Saroj calls up Malini and tells her about Sukhi and Guddo loving each other but due to some unavoidable circumstances they are not able to come together.
Uppal goes to the hospital and tells the doctor to take care of Jyoti since he is going out of town for his son's engagement. Kukku arrives and the doctor tells him that it is only because of him that Jyoti's health is improving. Uppal hugs him and asks him to do a favour by keeping the money with him. Uppal tells him that he had been to the bank but the bank had closed down and he cannot carry such a huge amount with him. Uppal also adds that he will come and speak for Sunaina and Rakesh's marriage as soon as he is back from Poona.
At the bus stand, Sukhi and Malini have boarded the bus and are about to leave for Poona. Rashmi and her husband have come to see them off. Sukhi is searching for Guddo. Guddo and Saroj arrive just as the bus starts moving. Guddo runs behind the bus saying "I love you" to Sukhi. After the bus goes, Saroj, Rashmi and her husband console Guddo.
Just then, Sukhi comes from behind and everyone is happy. Guddo comes back home. She is in a very good mood. She is singing and dancing. Nanda comes in and her toe is hurt. But she doesn't react. Kanta and Reshma tell Guddo not to mess around with the elders. Guddo starts dancing with Dadi. Nanda purposely comes and hurts her toe.
Kukku enters and handsover the bag to Reshma telling the whole story of what had happened. Reshma says that now it is not her responsibility. Dadi tells her to handover the bag to her. Nanda is happy as she feels that it will be handed to her. Reshma calls Nanda and asks her to handover the bag to Saroj. Nanda is annoyed.
Tilak is talking to Chauhan and tells him that he has not yet arranged for the money. Saroj comes in and hears the conversation and asks Tilak what it was all about. Tilak tells her that he was talking to Chauhan, to buy Indrajeet's house for Saroj as it is the high time for her to go to her house and start her new life.
Guddo calls up Sukhi and is talking to him. In the meantime, Uppal arrives and asks Sukhi whom is he talking to? Sukhi says he was talking to a friend and keeps the receiver down. Uppal then redials the number. Sukhi snatches the receiver and finds Saroj on line. He then hands it over to Uppal telling Saroj that Uppal would like to speak her. Uppal then keeps the phone saying that he will call up later.
On the other side Kukku, Dadi, Reshma and Saroj are trying to convince Dada that Uppal has changed. Dada agrees saying that he knows Uppal won't call up. Pramod is not happy with all this. Sukhi is depressed and tries to convince Uppal to talk to Dada for Rakesh and Sunaina. Uppal then tells Sukhi to call up Dada.
Uppal speaks to Dada. Dada praises Saroj that its all due to her efforts that today again the relations with Uppal would be the same as they were before. Reshma is also happy with Saroj. Later, when Saroj goes to her room Sudarshan also comes in. She is shocked to see him and tells him to leave. He asks her for the money. Saroj gives him some money. But he demands more.
Suddenly Tilak knocks on the door. Saroj tells him that she is changing her clothes. She opens the door after Sudarshan leaves. Tilak is suspicious. In the office Tilak and Pramod are discussing about Rakesh and Suniana's engagement. Tiwari comes in and asks if he can leave early.
Rakesh is talking to Sunaina on phone. Kanta is hearing from behind. She goes to Nanda's room and tells her about it. But Nanda is in turn worried about Kukku. Tilak receives a call from Kanta. He tells Kanta that he has reached home and he will soon be there. He sees Sudarshan jumping from Saroj's window.
Tilak is suspicious and he comes into the room. He finds footprints in the room. Saroj comes out of the bathroom and is embarrassed to see Tilak. Saroj not knowing the fact tells him to get ready as everybody would be waiting for him. Billo and Sonu tell Nanda to get them ready. Nanda ignores them. Sonu says that they will go to their Bhabhi. Nanda scolds them.
Sukhi arrives and he is talking to Dadi. Saroj enters and Sukhi touches her feet. Saroj tells him to go and meet the others and take blessings from them. Sukhi directly goes to Guddo's room. Guddo is scared and tells Sukhi to leave. Saroj comes in and finds Guddo and Sukhi and tells them to have patience till Rakesh and Sunaina's marriage.
Reshma is in tears in front of Baldev's photograph. Rakesh comes in. Saroj follows him to show the engagement rings. Rakesh does not react and exits. Uppal, Sunaina and Kukku come in and everyone is surprised. They greet each other.
Uppal asks for Dada and goes to Dada's room. Dada greets Uppal. Uppal and Dada miss Baldev. Kanta consoles them. Uppal asks for Reshma and goes to Reshma's room. He consoles Reshma.
Before the ceremony begins, Kukku asks Uppal to take his money back. As Reshma tells Saroj to handover the bag to Uppal. She goes into the room and is shocked.
Saroj asks Tilak whom he is talking to. Tilak replies that he was talking to Chauhan about purchasing her brother's house and that he has also arranged for Rs five lakhs, as its high time she returns to her brothers house and finds Dr Prakash. Saroj is suspicious that Tilak has stolen the money.
Pramod is in a very good mood. When Kanta asks him the reason, he replies that Suleman bhai has given him more time to arrange for the money. But Kanta is not convinced.
Dada tells Kukku and Reshma that he has decided to compensate Uppal's loss. Reshma requests Dada to take Pushpa along with him so that she feels relieved (as she blames herself for the theft).
Tilak is upset about Sudarshan. He reminds himself that he should take Saroj to her brother's house, before it gets too late.
Seema is talking to Roshan. She gets a beep on the second line and she asks Roshan to hold. It is Tilak who pleads her not to hang up. without replying, she gets back to Roshan telling him that it was a wrong number.
Sunaina is tensed. Uppal assures her that everything will be fine once the money matters are resolved. At that point, Dada, Kukku and Saroj come in and give the cheque to Uppal. Uppal refuses. Instead he requests for Rakesh's hand for his niece.
Guddo is going out somewhere. A mysterious person clicks her photographs.
Tilak gets a blank call, he hangs up and goes to the bathroom, the phone rings again. Saroj picks up the phone. After speaking on the phone, she informs Tilak that she has to go out on some important work. Tilak offers to drop her on the way. But Saroj denies saying that she has to leave immediately. Tilak doubts Saroj and follows her. He is shocked to see Sudarshan taking Saroj behind a wall.
Sudarshan shows Guddo's photographs to Saroj. She is shocked. Sudarshan blackmails Saroj that he will reveal her true identity and demands for Rs five lakhs to keep his mouth shut.
Saroj goes to Thekedarni who urges her to fight back. Kukku tells Nana that he and Dada had gone to Uppal's place to return his five lakhs but Uppal denied and instead asked for Rakesh's hand for Sunaina. Nanda gets agitated, she accuses him of involving Dada in his interest of reviving old relations.
Tiwari asks Uppal for some money. Uppal denies telling him that he has no money and that he doesn't need Tiwari anymore.
Tilak decides to reveal Saroj's true identity to his family before it gets too late.
Pramod tells Kukku that he has made a big mistake offering Uppal the cheque (of Rs five lakh).
Tilak calls Chauhan to inform that he is ready with the money. Saroj overhears the conversation and doubts Tilak for stealing the money. She tells him not to worry about her, instead he should return the money that he has stolen. Tilak is shocked.
Tilak blames Saroj of stealing Rs five lakhs with the help of Sudarshan and gives her a blank cheque as a compensation for all her favours towards his family till now and then leaves. Just then Sudarshan calls up. Saroj replies that she will reach there soon and picks up the cheque. Tilak, is shocked seeing this.
Uppal tells Sunaina that Dada had called and that he had fixed up Sunaina and Rakesh's ring ceremony today evening itself.
Pramod tells Kanta that he is not happy about Uppal family getting closer to the Chopra family.
Saroj tells Tilak that she is leaving forever. Tilak is depressed thinking about how easily she had deceived him. Kanta asks Saroj where she was going? Saroj replies that she will be back soon. Tilak asks Kanta to proceed with the function as he is going out with Saroj.
Tilak follows Saroj and finds her talking to Sudarshan and then later handing him the cheque. Sudarshan laughs. Upset, Tilak decides to return. He turns back one last time to see something that is really shocking.
Sonu does not want Bhabhi to leave. Nanda tells him that she has to leave and tells Saroj that this is the right time for her to get pregnant and that she would be the first one to rejoice it.
Sukhi calls up Guddo who is upset about his leaving on war front before talking about their relationship to his father.
Uppal and Sunaina are both rejoicing over the problems in Chopra family. Rakesh enters and a hot discussion follows. Roshan is happy that Seema has agreed to marry him and warns her of commiting suicide if she deceives him.
Meanwhile, Sunaina brings in gifts for everybody. Dadajee refuses to accept his, but Saroj accepts the gift and steals the show. Sunaina gets angry and decides to settle scores some other time.
Sukhi and Guddo meet and Sukhi comes to leave Guddo near her house. Meanwhile, Tilak asks Saroj of Guddo's whereabouts. Saroj tells him that she has gone to Namita's place. Unfortunately Namita calls up asking for Guddo. Tilak is now suspicious. Rakesh too. Guddo enters and Tilak inquires on where she had been. Nervous, she replies at Namita's place! Tilak then tells her that Namita had called. Guddo is scared. Rakesh too joins in the enquiry.Guddo now fumbles and says Sukhi? On hearing this Sukhi's name gets wild at her and tells her that not to meet Sukhi ever. Tilak tells Saroj that he doesn't like Guddo being out so late in the night. Saroj goes to Guddo and tells her that she should not take the undue advantage of her approval of meeting Sukhi. Guddo tells Saroj that Sukhi is leaving for border.
Saroj understands the pain of separation Guddo is going through. Saroj tries to explain Tilak about Guddo,but Tilak does not like Saroj protecting her. Sukhi calls up Guddo saying that next day he will be leaving on a border, before leaving he wants to meet Guddo for the last time. Saroj tells Tilak to leave for Mahabaleshwar.Tilak is in dilemma, as Kanta bua too will be leaving for Lucknow.
Saroj tells she will take care of things not to worry about it. Kanta is done with her packing. Guddo takes permission from Saroj to meet Sukhi for the last time before Sukhi going on a war front. Saroj agrees and asks her to come soon. Over there Pramod hands over the business and other things to Kukku and Rakesh and asks Kukku to keep an eye on Tilak. Tilak reaches Mahabaleshwar only when he comes to know that Seema has left with Roshan to Mumbai and soon she will be getting married.
Kanta and Pramod are ready to leave for Lucknow. Reshma tells Saroj to accompany them. But Saroj says that she is not feeling well and even Guddo is expected any moment. Kanta tells Rakesh that they will soon be back for his marriage with Sunaina. Rakesh nervously
Tells that it seems no wedding will take place as everyone is busy in their own life. An emotional parting between Kanta and Saroj takes place. To everyone's surprise Thekedarni comes with Achar for Kanta. When she comes to know about Saroj's health she shows her willingness to stay back. But Saroj tells her that not to worry Guddo will soon be there. An emotional departure between father and son. Guddo is waiting for Sukhi. Sukhi comes in an army uniform, an emotional departure. Everybody leaves for station and Saroj is left alone. She is worried as why Guddo has not come.
