*Some months later*
Santu wanted to see DM and went to the M-Mansion with hope that she could see him from a distance and never return.. She looked around the angaan and noticed that everything had changed and wasn't as it was years ago.. She saw Maulik on the phone and didn't understand why the house was soo empty. Just then she saw Champakali who looked as she 9 years ago but she had changed her hairstyle and was now married..
Seeing that Maulik had gone, Santu walked over to Champa and asked her how she had been? Champa was shocked to Santu and gave her a big hug.. Champa:Maalkin?! How are you?? Santu:Im good, what about you?
Champa:Im good.. You got released early?
Santu:Yes.. but i came to see Malik.. I want to just see him for one last time..I'll never come back here again..Where is he??
Champa:Maalkin..he..ermm
Moti:Champakalliiii!!!!!!
Champa:Coming Benbaa.. Maalkin i'll be back.. you stay here..
Santu walked towards the entrance of the house and looked back and just then saw a grey, tall shadow touch her body.. She hid her face and turned around... She saw standing infront of her an aged man.. but she recognised the face.... He hadn't changed much.. Still had the same mooch, same dress-sense, same hairstyle with a few strands of grey..😉
He walked towards her and stopped...
DM:Who are you??
Santu didn't know what to say.. she looked into his dark masculine eyes.. which still made her stomach do somersaults..
She walked away.. he called towards her but she couldn't stop.. She had seen him and that was enough..
She told the driver to take the car towards Aman and Gayatri's house...
Gayatri's House..
Aman paced up and down with the phone upon his ear, looking at the doorway every split second..
Just then he saw Santu.. walking through the reception area of the house..
Aman:I'll call you back..
Santu walked in and Aman walked over to her... She smiled at him and he smiled back...
Aman:Where have you been??
Santu:Nowhere.. I just was out.. taking fresh air..
Aman:Maa, has been waiting for you.. She said she won't eat until you come..
Santu:Aman, what is this? You know Maa needs her tablets on time.. She has suffered a heart attack.. you can't be so careless..

Aman:Sorryyy.. Next time i'll take extra care, but you also shouldn't disappear..
Santu:Stop talking now..Go and get Maa and i'll get serve the dinner..
She walked away giving him a small smile..
Aman looked at her and smiled to himself..
After Dinner.. Santu returned to her room.. and opened up her diary that she had began keeping..
She wrote...Today I saw Maalik.. I knew that I would.. Thank you Kodiyaar Maa.. Now I don't have to return to the house.. Soon I will leave Maa and Aman and built a new life away from here..
Give me strength to go on..
She walked out onto the belcony and heard humming.. It was DM sat right beside her..
Santu:You here? What are you humming?
DM:I will always love you...
Santu:Really?
DM smiled at her and she snuggled up close to him placing his arms around her...
Santu! Santu! She heard her door knocking.. she looked around and she was alone..
She walked over and opened the door..It was Aman..
Santu:Hi..
Aman:What were you doing??
Santu:Nothing just sitting, reading..
Aman:Alone in your thoughts! You must have been thinking about me..😳
Santu:No..why?
Aman:I know, I know.. Im not that lucky that such a beautiful woman think of me..
Santu:Flirting?
Aman:Im joking.. Shin up..and go to sleep you have that interview tomorrow.You remember don't you??
Santu:Yes..and goodnight..
Aman:Sweetdreams..(of me)
Santu:Go to sleep.. Early morning remember..
Santu closes the door..and sits on the bed looking at the photograph of Gayatri and Aman hung in the room..
Santu:Im sorry Aman.. I hope you will understand.. I care for you but i love Maalik too much and no-one can ever take that place.... Im sorry..
