I loved reading your response for some reason, like how you commented on everything I said. hehe šŸ˜† but you made some nice points.

honestly speaking at times depending on the scene's level of intensity I do feel awkward seeing them on my own too, be it hollywood or bollywood, but maybe because generally one wouldn't imagine many bollywood films having such scenes, makes it hard for me to digest ?šŸ˜• also, if a film creates raves due to the sex/nudity parts it contains, then I don't get that either.

For instance, the media already started hyping up Saif and kareena's lovey dovey scene, which eventually started hyping up the movie too, and now that I see the trailer; I find nothing too impressive about it. yet, that one steamy part between the two, will continuously be talked about forever regardless, which not to mention is building a lot of hype around the movie.

Geet, I call Guddu, Sanjay Sharma.ā˜ŗļø Oh it was so cute when he said his name while getting married.😳

Riya and her love for Shahid in every thread. šŸ˜† but not going to complain. lol

There is nothing wrong with showing an intense love-making scene in movies, as long as they are done aesthetically and are in sync with the storyline and characters.
The problem arises when the filmaker in a bid to cash in, tries to forcibly inculcate a bedroom scene that looks completely out of place in the movie.
Saif and Vidya's love making scene from Parineeta is one of the classiest shot scenes ever! It totally went with the flow of the film and the actors looked incredibly natural in the scene! Rani and Abhishek in Yuva also had amazing natural chemistry in their intense scenes! Kareena and Ajay in Omkara were damn good too...it was done very beautifully! Rahul Khanna and Nandita Das in 1947 Earth were excellent!
But most of the 'bedroom scenes' that are shown in hindi movies are pretty cringe invoking and damn embarassing to watch, especially if you are with your family!šŸ˜•

Well no, there are ways to show a bareback but cover up the front. They have methods and clothing for that purpose.
But I dunno speciically in kareena's case, coz its with saif, they could have just gone for it. I know there was no one during that shoot except rensil and the cameraman. They had emptied out the entire cast and crew to make them feel as comfortable with the sitaution as possible because kareena was really hesitant and skeptical about doing this scene. Apparently Rensil had to sit down and explain its significance to her.

Kareena must be wearing a nude corset sort of a thing, which is almost invisible in a Camera. The thing is plastered from the bust uptill the region you want covered in the front of your body and can later be peeled off!

Just because Kareena is in a relationship with Saif does not indicate that she will go nude for a scene with him!šŸ˜† Its not just the actors, an entire contigent of team is present to shoot a scene and I am guessing that Bollywood is still ultra conventional when it comes to stuff like these!

I'm sure she is. IF you look at kareena's pics on the sets of her films, she's either wrapped in some kinda shawl after the shot or has something covering her cleavage if she has to show it for a scene. I remember she has this random towel shoved down her shirt during 36 Chinatown, lmao!
And she usually covers herself up otherwise.
I dont think she woudl be comfortable going nude with the director there. And I dont think saif woudl let her either, lol

well...movies are a form of expression..you cannot expect every movie to be a squeaky clean rom com / family movie. I mean imagine how bored audiences would be if each and every film were like HAHK. I like the fact that bollywood dabbles in such diverse genres and is producing stark cinema like DEV D, Kurbaan etc. I mean u can tell when a director is being sleazy and when hes being sensible with the way a love making scene is shot. If its shot aesthetically and has relevance in the script, then its not at all a problem. I guess not a lot of people r comfortable with watching such scenes with family but hey,....thts wht ratings are for....if its an A or an MA 15+..u dunt take kids to watch it. It is obviously its meant for mature audience.
