@ Roxy - Thank you. I really like your point on the age of 18-19. All of my friends are 20, and they are thinking somewhere along the lines of marriage with these guys, while as you said guys do NOT think of marriage at this age.

It really annoys me when I'm listening to a song, and it is visible on my MSN, say if it is "Tum Se Hi" then I have people asking me, whether I'm in love. This coming from friends that are well aware I do not believe in the concept, yet every person tries to convince me of it.

I respect their concern, but for every song I listen to, I'm certainly NOT thinking about a guy. Bah. In some ways there is quite a lot of pressure on most of the girls for marriage, as per society the so called ideal age is 20-24, so girls naturally look for potential guys to marry. With me I have been lucky my parents do not pressurize me at all, and I'm more focused on my education - thanks to my parents. Besides I have warned my parents that I will not be able to judge for my self, if someone is right for me or not, so the decision is in their hands. Till then freedom :-)

caro yar i have heard such stories as well .. .coz in punjab at one time it was a FAD to marry NRI mundas ... thankfully now they have made the laws more .. u know making it mandatory to have a court marriage n all ... as in signing the papers. .. coz mostly consumating the marriage the guys would return to there country desserting the girls ... msot tragic !!!!

in one case i heard the dude had this chain of motels in canada ... abt 6 of them .... so he gets married to this girl n takes her there ... she manages all the motels n his parents while he sleeps around with his GFs .... u nkw how she got out of it .. she contacted her BG who still oved her n he sent her moeny to take a fligth back home .... got her a divorce n finally married her
