I am not sure in which class, but in my English text book, I had a part from a book--just a part, no beginning and no end. A bench, two men, and a conversation that changes the perspective of an apprehensive man--for me benches always had significance ever since I read that lesson in my school.

On a bench, two complete strangers met and one changed the perspective of another, shaped his decision, and made him take up a job that brought about a change in many students life.

I passed out of my school, completed my higher education, and started working, but my visualization of that bench never faded away. Couple of years back, I was looking for a book, and I ended up in an old book store, and there that book sat -- a very old copy --on some shelf. "To Sir, With Love"-- I still believe the book was there waiting for me all these years.

Today morning, I saw a son and a father on a bench having a conversation almost in silence and the son saying, "I Love You Dad." And, I am sure even after a decade I'll be looking forward to know more about this father and son. Or, I might end up in a dilapidated book store and search for a book called, "I Love you Dad."

Karan Kundra, I am no fan of yours and I have always been critical of your acting, and you still give me the impression that you are going to take off any moment--example the scene with Mallika. But, for the poignant moment you and Satyajit Sharma created, I want to give you a standing ovation. Thank you a lot for livening up a beautiful moment by your restrained, expressive and almost natural acting.

Brilliant dialogues--though I would have deleted a line or two. I loved the fact that silence was given prominence. Rest of the scenes were clutter for me, did not matter and I am least bothered or interested in the killing drama.

Long post, and I hate writing long post but have to thank the creative for giving a moment that will be etched in my memory for a long time to come.
