next day also went like that, this time mayank started avoiding nupur, though it was toughest for mayank..but he did it..he didnt want to go close to her anymore , he felt disgusted as whenever he thought abt nupur , armaan's thought crept into his mind
Nupur was all confused , she was not knowing where life was taking her , mayank was avoiding her , she didnt know any cause for it ...evrythng seemed to be hap-hazard for nupur..she evn forgot that Armaan was gonna arrive that day !!
after a tiring day from college, nupur came back home , she felt herself going weak , she didnt know the reason , that was not any extra-ordinay day at college , same classes , same duration of lectures and evrythng the same but yet she left it was the worst day for her...
nupur was lying on her bed and thnking of all the time which passed by like dream for her ..her first day , her first fight with mayank , her first project , her first trip, her first tution classes which mayank took, and now mayank's rude behaviour...'' everythng was soo perfect...phir aisa kyun ho raha hai '' nupur thought...she kept fighting with her thoghts , thinking of evry possible reason which can annoy mayank , but she culdnt find evn a single reason for mayank's strange behaviour...and while thinking , nupur went off to sleep..
Nupur woke up around 5pm...as soon as she got up , her mind again drifted to mayank
''i have to find it out...meinne koi galti nahin ki , phir kyun...koi aur problem toh nahin hai jis wajahse mayank aise behave kar raha hai''..nupur went to fresh n up and came after doing so , she wnt to Sharma Mansion
she went there , she was abt to knock at the door , when the door opened...Nupur was taken a bit aback but as soon as she saw Shilpa Aunty she regained her calm..
Shilpa : arre nupur beta...!!
Nupur : Namaste aunty .
Shilpa :kaise hai ? itni dino baad ghar aayi hai..chal aandar aa ja\
Nupur went inside with shilpa ..she inquied about her health..and they had a small chit-chat..
Nupur : aunty mayank ghar par nahin hai kya ? ..she said as she looked around
Shilpa : haan , woh aaj college mein usse kuch kaam tha , toh kehta ke late ho jayega
''college mein kaam ?..aisa kya tha jo mayank mujhe bhi nahin bata saka..itna gussa''..nupur felt blood rushing to her veins as she thought abt it ..
Shilpa : kya hua ..? kuch baat huyi kya mayank ke saath ?
Nupur : nahin ...woh..actually
Shilpa: tum kabse mujhse baat chupane lag gayi ?
Nupur : aise koi baat nahin hai aunty ..par pata nahin , aajkal mayank mujhse baht ajeeb behave karta hai ..mujhe kuch samajh nahin aa raha
nupur felt lump in her thorat as she said those words..
Shilpa was also confused now..she had noticed mayank's change behaviour from past one day..and now evn nupur mentioned it..''there must be some thng'' ..shilpa thought
Shilpa : aare..tujhe pata ahi na mayank ka..uske mood-swings hote rehte hain...nupur dont worry sab teekh ho jayega !!
shilpa assured nupur...and for nupur it came as a ray of hope
she was talking to Shilpa when her cell-phone buzzed
Nupur : hello?
Gunjan : tum kahan ho nupur ?
Nupur : kya hua ?
Guanjan : tum bhol gayi kya..ajj Armaan aa raha hai
as soon as nupur heard it..she got up instantly ' : Gunjan...ahh...mein aa rahi hoon.,.jst ten minutes..
Nupur looked at Shilpa.: .aunty mujhe jaana hai..woh armaan aa raha hai..aur mein bhol gayi hoon...bye aunty
Nupur gave Shilpa a warm hug and went rushing out of the house
''Armaan ??..yehi toh..'' as Shilpa thought abt it..she got evrythng cleared ..everythng was crystal clear...she knew the reason of Mayank's behaviour
After sometime Mayank came home..he saw Shilpa sitting in front of Idiot-box
Mayank : maa..!!
Shilpa : maayu rukh..bahut interestng scne aa raha ahi..
Mayank : maa..mein college se aaya hoon
Shilpa : mayu stop crying ...mujhe dekhne de
Mayank looked at Shilpa helplessly and went to kitchen to help himself with glass of water
he came back and was about to sit ..when he saw keys kept on table . Mayank picked up those keys , he knew whom did those belong to ''yeh yahaan kya kar rahe hai..nupur yahaan kyun aayi..teekh hogi na woh''..
Mayank ; maa yeh chabi kiski hai ?
Shilpa [she turned a bit to take a glance] : nupur ke hongi
Mayank : woh yahaan aayi thi ?
Shilpa : mayu tu mujhe serial nahin dekhne dega na !!
Mayank : maa ...batao toh sahi !
Shilpa : haan ..woh aayi thi..par shayad bhool gayi hogi yahein par..usse late ho ggaya tha na
Mayank : late ??..kis liye?
Shilpa : woh koi Armaan ne aana tha aaj !!
as soon as she heard the name ''ARMAAN'' ..mayank became again figity..
he almost threw the keys on the table and went to his room...banging the door back
Shilpa noticed evrythng..she stood up ''mujhe pata tha..yehi problem hai..mayank u aree in love with nupur..par tu kissi aur ke baare mein soochte he darr jaata hai..''..
it was around 9pm at night when nupur returned back home with gunjan and Armaan
nupur searched her pockets for the keys but culdnt find it
Armaan : kya hua ?
Nupur : pata nahin yaar...keys nahin mill rahi
Gunjan : nupur...kahan gayi ?
nupur thought for a while ..
Nupur : shayad maaynk ke ghar par bhool aayi mein
Armaan : mayank...class-mate aur frnd..right ?
Nupur nodded..
Nupur : mein aati hoon..
she went to Sharma Mansion..she knocked at the door and it was Mayank who opened it for her
Nupur : hii..
Mayank : hii
as he replied , he saw someone standing out with Gunjan in front of nupur's place..he was smart..
Mayank [rudely] : koi kaam hai
Nupur : mayank..mujhe tumse baat karne hai..plz meri baat toh suno
Mayank : nupur plzz...agar yehi baat hai..toh mein padh raha hoon , aur mujhe late ho raha hai
Nupur : mayank..par hua kya hai ?
Mayank without giving any answer went inside , and nupur followes him.''.he has to answer me now''.
Nupur : mujhe batao..baat kya hai ?
Mayank : jab koi baat he nahin hai..toh tumhe kya bataun ?
Nupur : aacha..toh tum mujhe ignore kyun kar rahe ho ?
Mayank :tumhe aisa lagta hai..par mujhe nahin
Nupur :really ??..
Mayank [furious now] : jst listen one thng nupur [mayank came closer to her] meri life hai..mere goals hain..and mujhe woh poore karna hai...do u get it !!!!aur mujhe koi farak nahin padhta ke tum kya soochti ho ya kya karte ho ..do u get that !!!
Tears started brimming in nupur's eyes...this was the last thng she wanted to hear from mayank...
she controlled herself ''nupur aapne aapko sambhal''..she went across maaynk..took tthe keys which were lying on the table
Nupur went towards the door,...but she turned back and looked at mayank..who was still standing there with arrogance..Nupur came towards him
Nupur : thanx Mr.Mayank Sharma...mujhe batane ke liya [nupur felt lump in her throat] ..tumhe shayad koi farak nahin padhta hoga..par iss baat se mujhe bahut farak padhta hai...
she went away from there with tears rolling down her cheeks...and mayank standing there with tears glistening in his eyes
''sometimes its words which fall short to express one's feelings and sometime its situation which make one fall short of words''
