it was so sad!! i saw him standing outside the hotel waiting for his sister and jiju on the news...stress was all over his face...my heart felt condolences to him and his family....may God give them strength to move on and raise the 2 kids who lost their parents..

You feel so helpless watching the plight of Ashish and thousands like him who lost their loved ones in these diabolical attacks. It makes me feel so miserable......you wish you could run and give a bear hug to all of them.....be together in this time of terror....perhaps that is what the human bond is all about.

This is absolutely terrible. It is devastating to see scenes and events like this occurring in Mumbai. My friend had a close call and came back to the restaurant in the Taj but left upon seeing what was happening. Luckily, he escaped, but I just don't know how to describe the emotions, a week later. May Ashish's sister and brother in law rest in peace as well as all the officers, commandos, and innocent civilians, who mercilessly lost their lives that day. And I offer condolences to everyone affected.
