Highlights/Update 12th March 2007

As you saw on the last episode, Mansukhlal (Bapuji) gave the women a chance to handle the business.

Here are the highlights of todays episode in order of occurrence.

The men believe that the women will not be able to handle the business. Jyoti, Bhavna and Sapna have no confidence in handling the business. They think that they wouldn't be able to handle it as they are not familiar with it. Sneha thinks they can do it. Ma goes to Bapuji and asks what his real motive behind this is. Why he gave a chance to the bahu's. He replies saying that he just gave the women what they asked for. The women see Bapuji in the main hall, they ask if they can employ women in their industry. He says they could do whatever they like. the three men listen to their conversation and they hear the women say that they would take the file later when they decide. Amar interprets that they would not take over the business. Amar tries to put off Jyoti from this business matter, he says it would be difficult,etc. Karan tells Sapna what she would have to do, including tax,income tax, talking to people in business meetings. Bhavna is tries to tell Manoj that she could do it. He mentions that there is a huge difference between helping to born a child and helping to create a business. Pranav says to Sneha, that she should not go ahead with the business as in the end it would only bring down his brothers. She says that he is saying this because they are women. Women should have the chance to show their ability. The women are discussing this matter in the main hall, when most of them were backing out from this challenge. Parag overhears,and asks them would they employ him (as a joke). Jyoti gets angry and sends him away. He goes to Bapuji's room, he tells him what he saw and heard. Bapuji says that he didn't think they would back out this quickly. Parag calls the men to the hall saying that they are making their decision now. Bapuji sees the women discussing and he thinks they have chosen the house over the business. Jyoti comes forward and accepts the challenge. They all say that they would accept the challenge.
• Sneha goes to Bapuji and takes the file.
