Hello, There is somthing called privacy, but Im gessing not in the Shah Residence! Manoj and Bhavna were arguing about a kid, and about how he she be Bapu Ji's "Waris"and all, first of all they were talking so loud, second the door was open! With such loud voices someone had to hear them! Hetal challenges MLS, and the door is open, the way he yelled "Hetal" I know I would've heard that a feww rooms down. So basicly the Shah Residence love to argue/challenge personal matter with the door open! Even windows!! The way Sneha hears MLS and his Chamcha's conversation!!! Boy o'boy they need to learn to have some privacy!!!

Privacy is non-existent in joint familes. But I guess a lot of us don't come in touch with the joint family situation these days.... even in India, with a lot of families going nuclear...there are fewer and fewer close knit families...

And the interesting part of this family is the only division in the family is along gender lines and not becos one daughter-in-law hates another or one son hates his brother...

When growing up I lived in a Joint family sysstem, and it wasnt too long ago when we seperated to our ways. We always got the privacy we deserved, it wasnt like our bedroom doors were always open when ever a couple would talk. Yes when a couple would get into a really heated argument (twice) when everything calms down brothers give the brother advice, and the daughter-in-laws help the daughter-in law, so basicly you are wrong!!! joint families get the same amount of privacy as a small family
