Arvind Rathore who plays Mansukhlal the patriarch is a veteran Gujarati theatre actor who has also acted in around 200 films. Speaking about the serial and his part in it he says, "This is the story of a character who has strict morals and ideals. Barring his views on women there is much I share in common with him."

wow this is some thing nice to know.. i also think that he can't act often he is over acting ie. when he said hum a bole deya na .. and show his hand those sceans are so fake..
