Jothi tells the men to ask Kasthuri the real reason for Ram's incarceration. Kasthuri tells Jothi not to talk bad about Bharath and Ganesh as they do everything for her and they live for her. Jothi asks who Kashturi is living for. Ganesh and Bharath try to tell Jothi that Ram deserves the punishment but Jothi refuses to accept. She accuses Kasthuri of sending Ram to jail because she wanted the contract that Ram got. She says Kasthuri was jealous if Ram completes the project successfully, he will become a boss. She also says if Kasthuri is really good, she would have given Ram a chance to turn a new leave by bringing him out and giving him a chance. Jothi then pleads with them to get Ram out and she will go away with her son and not interfere in their lives and leaves. Kasthuri asks Ganesh why he brought sweets but Ganesh says it was a gesture to congratulate her and did not expect it to bring up issues. Bharath tells Kasthuri not to worry because people will definitely talk and she should not take it to heart. Kasthuri says she is earning money to help others and not for herself and is hurt because the people she loves most don't believe in her.

Rekha and Kasthuri work on some files and tells Kasthuri to look over. Kasthuri tells her to leave it for the time being as an important person will be coming to meet her. Rekha tells her the files need to be submitted by 4 pm that day and Kasthuri says ok. Rekha asks why she is very tensed. Kasthuri tells her she will let her know later and asks Rekha to leave and not come in until the person meeting her leaves. Mohan, the hired killer arrives. Mohan tells Kasthuri that Vadivoo had told him about her. Kasthuri tells Mohan not to be afraid of her as she has the money to do anything. Mohan asks what is needed for him and Kasthuri says she has something important for him. Kasthuri tells Mohan there is a group trying to destroy her business and she wants Mohan to kill one of the man. Mohan asks her to show a photo of the person and he will take care of the rest. Kasthuri says she needs to make an agreement but Mohan refuses. He tells her that he has killed many well known persons and also hired by big timers. Kasthuri tells him she is afraid that he might expose her if he is caught by the police. Mohan says that will not happen. He then says that he even killed Annamalai and was hired by Soma. Kasthuri tells Mohan she trusts him and hands over a photograph of the old Kasthuri. Mohan looks at the photo and says he knows her and tells about how Vadivoo had thrown acid on her and he had tried to kill her at the hospital but failed. Mohan says the lady's name is Kasthuri and she is in Veloor jail and he will dispose of her soon. Kasthuri tells him if he is succcessful, she will pay him 2 crores and gives him some advance. Mohan says no need for advance as he will take the money when he completes the job but Kasthuri insists and Mohan happily takes the money and leaves. Kasthuri, again looks at the hidden camera, and smiles.

Soma in his office with Balu and they discuss about getting Ram out on bail. Balu says the lawyer is not in town and feels that Ram should not be brought out. Soma says he too does not wnat him out but he wants to use Ram to destroy Kasthuri. Balu tells him to wait for sometime but Soma says they should not wait for long. Soma says their time is now good and well known people will be coming to see him. Balu sees police inspector come in and tells that he is there to arrest Soma for killing Annamalai. Soma says he did not even know Annamalai and how could he kill him and if the police has any evidence. Kasthuri and Rekha comes in and says they have all the evidence they have and tells him about recording her conversation with Vadivoo and Mohan. Soma is shocked, but laughs saying it could be graphics. Inspector tells the police to being in a person and they bring in Mohan. Inspector tells Soma that Mohan has admitted that Soma paid him to kill Annamalai. Soma tells the everyone not to be happy that he is arrested because jail is not new to him and once he is out he will take care of them. Soma tells Balu to contact their lawyer and leaves.

Kasthuri and Amirtha enter the office and all staff get up to greet her. Kasthuri tells them not to get up to greet her. She then turns to Rekha not to do it too but Rekha says Kasthuri is her boss and it is her duty to show respect. Kasthuri says nothing doing because the company belongs to all of them and tells Rekha to follow her. THODARUM.

Radha is playing with Santosh. Rekha arrives and Radha looks at her daughter and tells her how she and Annamalai had brought her up like a princess. She says that she was very sad when they lived in the small house, but now she is very happy to be back in their house and says she is very thankful to Kasthuri. Kasthuri arrives and Radha thanks Kasthuri for everything she has done for them. She is also proud of Kashturi for finding her husband's killer. Kasthuri says anyone who has done wrong must be punished and that is why she sent Ram to jail but Jothi is angry with her. Rekha tells Kasthuri not to worry but Kasthuri says she thinks of Jothi as her mother and feels very sad that Jothi treats her an an enemy. Radha says Jothi is suffering because of her son and she will because she chooses to. Kasthuri wants to keep Jothi happy but Jothi refuses to talk to her. Radha and Rekha are afraid that Kasthuri's life may be in danger and wants her to be careful. Kasthuri says she had gone thru a lot of sufferings and is still alive, and she says God is keeping her alive for a reason.

Balu meets Ram in jail and starts goading Ram about how he had dreamt of marrying Simi the millionaire but did not work out. He says Ram should have listened to Soma. Ram gets angry and tells Balu to tell him the reason he came to see him. Balu tells Ram that Kasthuri had sent Soma into jail for Annamakai's murder. Ram asks how is Soma involved in Annamalai's murder and Balu says he does not know. Ram does not believe that Balu doesn't now but Ram insists that Balu tells him. Balu still hesitates because Ram is related to Annamalai but he has no feelings for Annamalai's family. Ram says anyone trying to destroy him gets into trouble. He says Kasthuri thinks she has achieved something great by sending him to jail, but once he is out he will take care of her and make her life miserable.

Jothi goes to Rekha's house and asks to see Radha. Radha comes out and greets Jothi and offers drinks but Jothi refuses. She tells Radha that she does not like what Ram is doing and says that she and her husband had taken care of her and she repays by sending Ram to jail. Jothi says that Kasthuri should have told her about Ram. Radha tells Jothi that Ram was never truthful to anyone and he is the wrong doer. Jothi says no matter what he is her son. Radha says for what Ram did to them, this punishment is not enough. Jothi gets angry and asks what has Ram done to Rekha, he had only loved her. Rekha tells Jothi to stop because for what Ram had done, he would have been poisoned if it was someone else. Jothi gets angry and asks what has Ram done other then love her completely. Rekha says what had Ram not done. He had been a cheat and a fraud from the begining. Even when he thought Kasthuri was Simi, he told her he is an orphaned in front of her.

She asks Jothi how can she ask what had Ram done when she knows very well what Ram has done. Jothi says Rekha is talking like that because she is friends with Kasthuri. Radha tells Jothi not to talk about Kasthuri like that because Kasthuri really love Jothi. Jothi says that Kasthuri is pretending and acting. Jothi then says that Radha and Rekha will be on Kasthuri's side because she had given them the house and now Rekha is working for Kasthuri. Rekha and Radha get angry and tell Jothi sto stop talking bad about Kasthuri. Jothi then asks Radha and Rekha to help get Ram out on bail but they refuse. Jothi then says that Rekha has a son with Ram and in future she will have to live with Ram but Kasthuri is not like that she will never accept Ram because she is now very rich. Rekha tells Jothi to stop thinking like that because she will never accept Ram ever. Jothi then asks if they will help her but they refuse. Jothi gets angry and tells them that their relationship is severed and walks out. Jothi is walking and an auto hits her. THODARUM

Jothi gets up and goes home. Rekha meets Kasthuri at the office and tells her about Jothi's visit and tells her that Jothi wanted them to help post bail for Ram and how they had refused. Kasthuri says as a mother Jothi cannot see the mistakes her son is doing. She says what Ram had done to them is worse then murder and must be punished. Rekha tells Kasthuri not to think too much about it and leaves.

Kasthuri at home thinks about her conversation with Jothi - Jothi telling Kasthuri if there is something Kasthuri wants to do for her, it owuld be bailing Ram out. Next morning when Rekha comes to see Kasthuri to go to hte office, Kasthuri tells her she has decided to bail Ram out. Rekha is shocked and asked why the change of heart. Kasthuri says she is doing this for Jothi who is very sad and refuses any food. Also Jothi is hurt and refuses to get treatment. Kasthuri is afraid that Jothi will get worse if she does not get treatment for her leg as she is a diabetic. Rekha tells Kasthuri that she does not agree. Kasthuri tells Rekha that they have to do this for Jothi and not for Ram. Kasthuri asks Rekha to get a lawyer and move bail. Rekha refuses at first but after Kasthuri insists, Rekha agrees.

Rekha meets Ganesh and tells him the news. Ganesh too is surprised but Rekha tells him it is for Jothi's sake. Rekha then asks Ganesh to help her by going to the jail with lawyer to see Ram and talk to him. Ganesh apologizes saying he has prior appointment and cannot change it. Rekha tells Ganesh it is ok and she will go.

The lawyer goes to jail to meet Ram. Ram is happy and tells lawyer that he knew he was coming because his boss, Soma had told him. Lawyer says he is not sent by Soma but Simi Madam. Ram is shocked. Lawyer says a representative from Simi's company is also there and asks Rekha to come in - another shock for Ram. Ram then asks to speak with Rekha alone and lawyer leaves. Ram asks why Rekha is there. Rekha says Simi Madam has asked her to accompany the lawyer about his bail. Ram tells her they know her name is Kashturi why call her Simi. Ram accuses Rekha of helping Kasthuri to cheat him and put him in jail. He says Rekha knew that Simi is Kashturi but never told him. Rekha laughs and says he is Kasthuri's husband and should have known who Simi is. Ram tells her not to laugh and asks why try to help him. Rekha says Kashturi is doing this for Jothi and not because he feels for him. Rekha says Jothi is not well and wants him out and tells him that he should accept the help for his mother's sake. Ram says that he will not come out with their help even for hsi mother's sake. He tells Rekha to tell Kashturi that he is their enemy and will destroy them when he comes out.

Kasthuri, Rekha, Bharath, Ganesh and Amirtha all meet in the conference room about the project. Kasthuri tells Rekha that she will be given her own room and she does not have to sit with the other's . She tells Rekha that Ganesh will the coordinator and help her. Police Inspector comes to see Kasthuri and tells her that they have information that Soma has hired a killer to kill Kasthuri. THODARUM.

Continues from yesterday - Police Inspector says that they have found out that Soma has hired someone to kill Kasthuri. He tells her that they are still investigating but wants her to be careful. Inspector says Soma had hired the killer thru Mohan and they are doing their best find who it is. Inspector also tells them he is ready to give police protection if needed. Kasturi says it is not necessary but Rekha objects saying since Kasthuri's life is in danger she need the protection. Kasthuri says no need. Inspector tells them that the hired killer had Kasthuri's photo and wants Kasthuri to take extra care.

Jothi walks and is in pain, so she sits down. Kasthuri comes there with some medication as Jothi refused to see the doctor. Kasthuri tells Jothi she has seen a lawyer about bail for Ram and that the lawyer will bring Ram the next day. Jothi asks if she can believe her. Kasthuri says she will never lie to Jothi and that many people have cheated her but she will never do that to another person as she knows how much it will hurt. Jothi takes the medicine given by Kasthuri. After Jothi takes the medicine, Kasthuri takes Jothi in.

Jothi is waiting and when Kasthuri returns, Jothi asks where is Ram. Kasthuri tells Jothi that Ram refused to come out on bail if it is moved by Kasthuri. Jothi does not believe and Kasthuri says she knows Jothi will not believe and that is why she had asked Rekha to go see Ram. Jothi says Rekha would listen to anything Kasthuri says. Kasthuri tells Jothi that as a mother she should love her son but the love should not blind everything. Kasthuri tells Jothi not to talk as she wants because she too has the limit for the patience she has. Jothi still does not believe so Kasthuri tells Jothi to go meet Ram herself and ask why he refused the bail. Jothi says ok and leaves. Kasthuri calls someone (muted dialog).

Jothi meets Ram and cries (as usual). Ram just looks at her. Jothi asks how he is and Ram ask why she came there. Jothi says he came to see him because she felt like seeing him because she is his mother. Ram tells Jothi to go back to their village but Jothi says she can't go leaving him in jail. Jothi tells Ram that Kasthuri wants to get him out on bail and had sent Rekha to bring him out. Ram says they came but it is all pretence because Kasthuri has sent a petition to the court not to give bail to Ram. Ram says Kasthuri and Rekha are pretending and not to believe them. Ram says he doesn't know how to make Jothi understand. He says Kasthuri now has connection with thugs and may want to get him out on bail and then hire thugs to kill him. Ram says Kasthuri really hates him and that is why she has insulted him in front of people. He says how can he be sure that she might not kill him. Jothi seems to believe him and tells him to come out on bail and she will take him back with her. Ram says he cannot go back with her because he will have go and mark attendence at a polcie station in the city. Jothi asks if there is any other way. Ram tells Jothi if Kasthuri takes back the complaint she made, then he will be released and acquitted. Jothi promises to talk to Kasthuri and leaves. Ram laughs and says that he will use Mother sentiment to get Kasthuri to take back the complaint and come out. Kasthuri thinks about the police inspector's warning about Soma hiring someone to kill her and that a photograph of her has been given as identification and the police wants her to inform them if any suspicious charactors come to her. A new character is introduced. He has Kasthuri(Simi)'s photo and looks at it intently. THODARUM

Jothi waits for Kasthuri to return and when she returns, Kasthuri asks Jothi if she went to see Ram at jail. Jothi says yes and that Ram says he will not come out on bail but wants Kasthuri to retrieve her complaint. Kathuri says she will never do that. Jothi says why not and Kasthuri explains if she does that, Ram would be free and them would turn around and sue Kasthuri for giving false complaint. Jothi says Ram will not do that because he will listen to her. Kasthuri asks Jothi when has Ram ever listened to her. Kasthuru asks her when Jothi had asked Ram to live happily with Kasthuri did he do that. Jothi says that is different and now this case is different. Kasthuri asks why was Jothi so upset when Jayanthi's husband had an affair and had fought for her daughter but when Kasthuri was in the same situation, she never thought about that at all. She asks why is the rule different for her daughter and DIL. Jothi keeps quiet. Kasthuri says that no matter what she had always done what is best for her family like helping out when Jothi's husband had embezzeled money from his company and going to jail for a crime she did not commit. Johit listens to all this but then says that now she understands how much Kasthuri hates her family because she is bring out all the family stories when all she asked was to retrieve the complaint. Kasthuri again says she will never do that. Jothi tells Kasthuri she will try something else and get her son out. Kasthuri stops Jothi and says that she had been willing to bring Ram out on bail when Jothi asked but now will never do anything to help Jothi because Ram had instigated Jothi by some sentiment. Jothi is shocked but walks aways. Kasthuri is really angry.

The new guy (he comes as Sakti in Bandham) stops at a shop and looks around, then goes back into the car and drives around and asks about Kasthuri, showing her pictures. Radha is teaching alphabets to Santosh while Rekha sorks on some files. Someone comes to the door and calls, Rekha goes out and is handed a letter by a courier. Rekha opens the envelope and gets a check from the auction - balance after paying off all their debts. Radha tells Rekha to deposit the check at the bank but Rekha says they have to return the money to Kasthuri as she had bought the house at a high price. Radha agrees.

Kasthuri is all sad and in the office looking at some files. Rekha comes in and gives her the check she received from the court. Kasthuri asks why give her the check and Rekha says it belongs to Kasthuri. Kasthuri says no it belongs to Rekha and does not want the money. When Rekha refuses, Kasthuri tells Rekha to deposit into an account for Santosh to be used for Saonth's future. Rekha refuses and Kasthuri tells her they are one family and the money should be with Rekha. Rekha says if she takes it means she is greedy but Kasthuri again tells her not to think like that and to just keep it because it is gien not taken. Kashturi says she is happy to use what money she has to help other and Rekha tells her to keep the money and use it for th foundation Kasthuri had started. Kasthuri agrees. Rekha asks if Kasthuri does not want anything for herself and Kasthuri says no.

Jothi sits on her bed and cries for her useless son (as usual) and thinks about her conversation with Kasthuri. She thinks about Kasthuri's talk about how she had gone to jail for a crime she did not commit and why can't Ram go to jail for a crime he did commit. Jothi gets up and tries to walk but is in pain. He braces herself and walks out of the room. Nest morning, Rekha is reading newspaper and her maid comes and tells her that Jothi is nowhere in the house. Both Kasthuri and her maid look for Jothi all over the house but don't find her. Kasthuri is frantic and wonders where Jothi could have gone and decides to call Ganesh to see if he knows anything. Kasthuri calls Ganesh and asks him if Jothi went there and Ganesh says no. Kasthuri tells Ganesh that Jothi had left the house without telling her anything. Kasthuri tells Ganesh to go to the office and to ask Bharath and Amirtha to come there too. Ganesh says okay and Kasthuri hangs up. THODARUM

Kasthuri and the rest of the clan meet at the office - ore thinking mode and looking at each other's face. Finally Amirtha speaks - says they had all agreed to get Ram out on bail and if Ram refuses how can Kasthuri be wrong. Bharath asks what did Jothi say last. Kasthuri says at first she wanted her to take Ram out on bail but after meeting Ram in jail, she came back and asked her to take back the complaint Kasthuri made on Ram so that the case would be thrown out. Kasthur says she refused to do so. Bharath says maybe Ram would have instigated Jothi and Kasthuri says yes. Bharath asks if Masil knows about Jothi. Ganesh says he called Masil and talked to him but Masil was asking how Jothi is doing, so that means he does not know about Jothi. Kasthuri doesn't want them to tell Masil anything because he will worry unnecessarily. Amirtha suggest they report to the police. Ganesh and Bharath leave to take care of the matter. Kasthuri wants them to keep this to themselves. Amirtha tells Kashturi not to worry because it is not her fault. Kasthuri worries Jothi might do something drastic but Amirtha consoles her saying Jothi would be at some temple. Ganesh and Bharath drive around looking for Jothi but is unable to locate her.

Radha gets Santosh ready for school. Rekha comes down and gets Santhosh to send him to school. Radha tells her daughter to go to the office ans it is already late and says she wills end Santosh to school. Radha says there is a parent teacher meeting at school, and she had informed Kasthuri about this. Kasthuri arrives and asks if Jothi came there. Radha and Rekha asks what happened. Kasthuri tells them that Jothi left the house without telling her. Kasthuri is very worried so both Rekha and Radha tell her not to worry. Radha says Jothi must have left because she feels no one will help her get her son out. Kasthuri laments that Jothi whom she loves, does not understand her. Radha says she will take Santhosh to school and asks Rekha to be Kasthuri. Kasthuri refuses and tells Rekha to go to the meeting but Rekha says it is okay and both theladies leave.

Balu meets Soma in jail. Soma asks if Balu has spoken to their lawyer about his release. Balu says he is, Soma tells Balu to get Ram out first so that Ram will work on destroying Kasthuri. Balu hesitates but Soma says he has to do it as he is their trrump card. Soma also tells Balu to ask Ram to come see him as soon as he is out. Ganesh and Bharath are still driving around looking for Jothi.

Back to the worried Kasthuri who is alone in the house waiting for news about Jothi. Amirtha comes in and Kasthuri asks why she has not gone to the office. Amirtha says she is on the way but wanted to come by to check about Jothi. Kasthuri tells Amirtha that there is still no news. Amirtha tells her not to worry. Kashturi worries if Masil comes and what she will tell him if he asks about Jothi. Amirtha then tells Kasthuri that the there is an important meeting at 11 am on he project with the Contractor and asks her to come. Kasthuri refuses saying she will not be able to concentrate on the meeting. Amirtha says it is only for an hour and it is very important that Kasthuri comes. Kasthuri agrees and tells Amirtha to go to the office first and that she will be there at 11 am. Ganesh and Bharath are still looking for Jothi but no success.

Jothi is walking, Rekha is also on the same street because of car trouble. Jothi sees Rekha and hides. Rekha does not see Jothi. When the car is repaired, Rekha leaves and Jothi walks out from her hiding place and walks (don't know where she is going). Jothi feels weak but continues to walk and after a few minutes faints on the road. Some ladies go to her aid and give her some water to drink and ask what happened. Jothi says she was walking and fainted. A lady asks if she wants anything to drink. THODARUM.

Continued from yesterday - some ladies help Jothi up and ask if she needs anything to eat. One of the ladies ask her address and if she need help getting there. After a few moments, Jothi says she is an orphan and does not have a place to stay. She also says she has no relatives and sleeps at the temple only. The ladies tell Jothi about an Ashram nearby and tell her to go there. Jothi thank the ladies and leave thinking to herself "if there is no one to show love, everyone is an orphan" . Balu meets Ram and tell him that Soma wants to get Ram out of jail on bail. Ram says he is not willing to come out right now. This is because his name has been tarnished by Kasthuri. Balu tries to talk to Ram to change his mind but Ram still refuses. Balu then says that Ram has to come out to save his mother and tells him that Jothi is missing and Kashturi and her people are looking for her. Ram asks if Balu know where his mother is but Balu says he doesn't know. Ram cries and says that Jothi doesn't know anything about the city. Balu tells Ram that Kashturi had chased his mother out and is pretending to look for her. Ram thinks for a minute then tells Balu to go ahead and move bail for him.

Some one is giving food at a bungalow because the houseowner's is celebrating his child's birthday. Jothi sits down due to tiredness. A lady passing by asks why she is sitting there and to follow them but Jothi refuses. After the lady leaves, Jothi takes out $5 from her munthanai and says that money is not enough to buy anything. Jothi goes tot he bungalow to get some free food. The man serving food apologizes as there is no more food but for her to wait 10mins and he will bring some more and leaves. Jothi feels she is very unlucky and walks away.

Balu meets Soma and tells him that Ram did not want to come out at first but after telling about his mother, he had agreed. Soma tells Balu to ask Ram to meet him once he is out. Balu tells Soma not to trust Ram. Soma says he does not trust Ram but want to make use of him. Soma says that Kasthuri has killed Jothi. Balu is shocked but Soma explains that this is just a drama. He wants Balu to arrange to kidnap Jothi and take her to their secret hideout. Balu asks why when they are talking about killing her. Soma tells Balu to start groundwork to kidnap Jothi (muted dialog). Balu agrees and leaves.

Kasthuri looking at some files in her office. Rekha comes running and tells Kasthuri that Jothi was found at some street by her former driver and want to go there looking for her. Both Kasthuri and Jothi leave. Jothi is still walking alone. Rekha and Kasthuri are going in a car looking for them. Kasthuri ask if they will find Jothi and Rekha assures her and tells her not to be tensed.

A car stops near Kasthuri, a few man get down and kidnap Jothi and leave the place. In another car, Jothi and Rekha are looking for Jothi. The car stops in the middle of the road and the driver says the engine is off and gets down to check the engine. One of the kidnapper talks to someone and tells his driver to turn back. In the car, Kasthuri is restless and is afraid that they will miss Jothi. Rekha says not to worry, She asks the driver how long to wait and the driver says just 5 minutes. Both Kasthuri and Rekha get down and watch the driver. A police jeeps stops and asks what is wrong and the driver tells about the car trouble. The car with the kidnappers come and the inspector wants to stop that car to get a lift for the ladies. The Kidnappers are afraid they may get caught. They have no choice but to stop when the police stop them. Inspector asks who they are and the men say they are businessman. Inspector tells two of the men to get down and one of his constable to drive the car with the other two kidnappers and Jothi who is hidden at the back, to take the ladies to their destiny. The men try to get out of it but inspector tells the men they have to go with him to the police station with him and his driver will come there after sending the ladies. Rekha gets into the front passenger seat. Kasthuri opens the door to the back seat. THODARUM.

Ganesh tells Kashturi and Rekha he did not expect Ram to behave the way he did. Kasthuri tells Ganesh to think nothing of it. Rekha asks Ganesh how come Ram is out when he refused bail when she had asked him. Ganesh says Soma had Ram out on bail and Ram had gone to see him first. Kasthuri says she now understand because Ram thinks since he had Soma backing him, he can do anything. She tells them once Jothi is found, she will deal with Ram and Soma.

Bharath and Kashturi walking around looking for Jothi. Bharath feels Jothi should not have run off as she did without telling. He tells Kasthuri to eat and take rest but Kasthuri refuses. She says she has to find Jothi only then she will eat or rest. Bharath tells her they have left important work and are looking for Jothi. He tells Kasthuri to go to the office and do some work as this will take her mind of her worries.

The man looking for Simi goes to a security guard and show him the picture and questions him. Amirtha who passes by sees this and gets suspicious. She calls Bharath and informs him. Bharath tells her he will inform the police immediately and for her to watch where he is going. After disconnecting, Amirtha looks around for the man but sees he has gone.

Jothi is tied up in a room, some of the men are playing cards. One guy comes in and talks to them and tells him the old lady must have awaken. The man's cell rings and he pretends to talk to Kasthuri telling her they a waiting for her order to finish off the old lady. Hearing this Jothi is shocked and thinks that Kasthuri is really going to kill her. She pretends to sleep. The men go in one of the man wants to hit Jothi on the head with a club so that she will wake up but the other guy says they should not do anything without Kasthuri madam's orders and they all go out.

The man looking for Simi goes to her office and shows her photo to the receptionist. He tells her he wants to see Simi. Receptionist wants to know who he is and why and if he has an appointment. The man says it is personal and Simi knows him. Receptionist says no one can see madam without an appointment . The man then asks if Simi has a PA. Receptionist says she has but the PA is also not coming to office that day. He want to know if he can get Simi's personal tel.no. Receptionist tells him she does not have and even if she has she cannot give it to him without Simi's permission. The man apologizes and leaves.

Bharath goes to the office and receptionist tells him about the man who came looking for Simi. Bharath then asks if it had been recorded by their hidden camera. After watching the CCTV, Bharath feels confident that the man is the killer hired by Soma and wants the rececoptionist to record it on a CD and give to him so that he can hand it over to the police.

Balu meets Soma in jail and tells him Jothi has escaped. Soma is surprised. Balu tells Soma that Jothi now thinks Kasthuri paid the man to kidnap her and Soma is very happy that they were able to poison Jothi's mind. Now Jothi will never believe Kasthuri ever. Soma tells Balu to wath Jothi carefully as to where she is going, who she meets, etc. Balu agrees and leaves.

Kasthuri and Rekha talk about Jothi. Kasthuri is worried that Jothi is yet to be found and Rekha tries to console her. Bharath enters and tells her that the hired killer had come to the office looking for her. Kasthuri and Rekha are shocked. THODARUM.

Bharath tells Kasthuri about the man looking for her and wants her to see him on video. Kasthuri refuses saying if she is fated to die than so be it, Kasthuri tells them that no one is safe and cites the killings at the Mumbai hotel recently. Ram is waiting at a building site. Balu arrives and asks what is so urgent that Ram has asked him to come there. Ram tells Balu that he is worried about his future. He says he had believed and trusted Soma but looks like Soma does not want ot help him. Balu says why worry as Ram himself is talented. Balu also says that Soma still trust Ram but is a little angry because of his attitute when he was running around Simi. Ram wants a good job and earn a lot of money and with that money he wants to destroy Kasthuri. Balu tells Ram to separate the people who are loyal to her. Balu tells Ram to separate Rekha and Bharath from Kasthuri. Balu tells Ram to talk to Rekha but Ram says Rekha will not even see him. Balu says Rekha is still his wife and the only way is to talk to Radha. Ram hesitates saying he had not helped when they really needed his help when their house came to auction. Balu tells Ram that that is a small matter because Radha would definitely want her daughter to live happy with her husband. He asks Ram to meet Rekha and sweet talk her, but Ram is not so sure. Balu says not to think too much and to go to Radha and fall at her feet and ask for forgiveness.

Balu persuades Ram saying there is no other way but to go back to Rekha as no one would help him as he is a convicted fallon. Balu says only Ram will know about him falling at Radha's feet and don't have to worry about anyone knowing. Balu also says that this idea was given by Soma. Ram thinks for a minute and Balu continues to tells Ram about how angry Soma is with Kasthuri. Also if Rekha is on Ram's side, he will get all Kasthuri's company secrets through Rekha. Ram says first Rekha must accept her only then the rest of their plan will work. Balu says Ram us good at sweet talking women, so no problem. Ram agrees and leaves. Balu is happy that Ram has agreed and this is the begining of his downfall.

Jothi is walking alone in the night - weary and tired. She faints and falls in the middle of the road. A car stops and some elderly people get out and help her. One of them, a man tells the ladies to help carry Jothi to the car and to take her to their trust and help her. One of the ladies asks to report about finding Jothi at the police station but the man refuses saying Jothi needs help immediately and the report can wait. They carry Jothi into the car and take her with them.

A doctor examine Jothi and tell the people who helped Jothi that she is fine just weak because she did not eat probably for a few days. The doctor tell them to give Jothi some food and drinks and she will be alright and leave. Jothi gets up and is surprised to be there. The ladies an man tell Jothi not to be afraid and that she is in a safe place. They tells her she is in a trust - Old Folks Home. The ladies tell her that they are orphans and they live there. Jothi too says she is an orphan. The man and ladies tell Jothi she can stay there for as long as she wants. Jothi is grateful and as usual cries! THODARUM.
