Feb 12 (Mon):

Cont. from Friday. Ram Jr's father brings some cash to give to Kasthuri, but Kasthuri refuses saying that she did not save his son for money. She tells him if he wants to help her, to allow her to stay the night as she has no where to go. He agrees. Ram Jr. wants food as he is hungry and his father leaves to buy food from the hotel. Kasthuri offers to cook but is refused.

Gaja goes to her attai's house to tell her that she does not want to abort her child because her boyfriend will surely come back. Attai tells her that Thanam's wedding is taking place soon and they cannot have Gaja sick. she also tells her that the neighbors are suspecting and this willlead to problems. Gaja is adamant. Attai tells her it is for her own good and for the family. Murali comes there and consoles Gaja saying he will find her boyfriend and sends her home.

Ram Jr's father brings food and sees that his son and Kasthuri are playing. He sees his son very happy. He give Kasthuri a packet of food and takes his son updtairs to eat, telling Kasthuri to eat and sleep in the room downstairs. Kathuri is trie to eat but flashes of Ram harsh words comes to her mind and she is unable to eat, so she goes of to sleep. Ram Jr and his father are upstairs. Ram Jr's father thinks of how happy his son is with Kasthuri and goes to sleep.

In the middle of the night he gets up to find Ram Jr. missing. He gets worried and goes in search of his son. He hesitantly opens the room where Kasthuri is sleeping and finds his son sleeping with Kasthuri.

Next morning, Ram's father waits for Kasthuri. Kasthuri comes out of the room, atthe same time Ram Jr. comes and wants to play with Kasthuri but his father refuses and sends him upstairs saying its time to get ready for school. Ram Jr. sadly leaves. Kasthuri asks why he was harsh to his son. He replies that Ram Jr. just lost his mother and that he is trying to bring up his son without a mothers love and as Kasthuri will be leaving soon, he doesn't want his son to get close to Kasthuri. Kasthuri agrees that she will have to leave one day, but requests that she stay in the house as a servant and take care of Ram Jr. Ram Jr's father is happy and tells her that she can stay for as long as she likes and has the freedom to do whatevere she wants.

Kasthuri is happy..............THODARUM.

Feb 13 (Tues):

Kasthuri and Ram Jr. in a car. This is to drop Ram Jr. at his school. Ram Jr. is very happy to have Kasthuri with him. The driver is pleased to see this. At the school they drop Ram Jr. off. Ram Jr. says "Goodbye Mummy" and stops and sks Kasthuri if he can call her mummy. Kasthuri tells him sure and Ram Jr. asks her to bring lunch and feed him like the other mommies and Kasthuri agrees. On the way back, the driver tells Kasthuri that it has been a long time since he saw Ram Jr. happy.

Thanam is getting ready to go to work. Gaja asks Thanam to ask their father permission to allow Gaja to go to college to get 'Hall Ticket' for the coming exams. Thanam asks her father but her father refuses saying that Gaja does not need to go to college anymore after what she has done. Attai comes to take Gaja to the hospital. Her father asks Gaja to follow Attai to the hospital instead. Gaja and Thanam pleads withthe father to allow Gaja to take the exams. Gaja tells her father that after the exams she will do whatever they ask of her. Atai then tells her brother to allow Gaja to go and father agrees but someone has to go with Gaja. It is agreed that Murali will take her.

Ganesh is at Rekha's house and tells them he could not find Kasthuri. Annamalai then tells the family that he will lodge a police report. Ram and Ganesh are shocked. Ganesh tells Annamalai no to do so right now because one person will know where Kasthuri is and Ram is shocked to hear this. When asked who, Ganesh says the person whom Kasthuri thinks as God knows where she is. Ram angrilly tells Rekha it is time for him to to to the office and leaves. Everyone is shocked at Ram's anger and Rekha tells them that for sometime now, Ram gets angry everytime Kasthuri's name is mentioned and she doesn't know why.

Rekha is sitting at the living when Ram comes, he tells her to be ready when he returns home at 5pm as they have to go to the doctors for checkup. Rekha refuses and tells that she is worried about Kasthuri and she doesn't want to go. Ram gets angry and shouts at her. Rekha tells him to look out for Kasthuri and Ram replies that he will not be a detective for her and leaves.

On the way, the driver is looking at each side of the road and when Ram asks what he is doing, he says that Rekha told him to watch out for Kasthuri. Ram tells him to watch the road and drive and he will look for Kasthuri. The car stops at the signal and the driveer spots Kasthuri crossing the road and tells Ram. Ram too sees her but tries to say that it is not Kasthuri. The driver tries to get down from the car but Ram tells him to drive as the signal has changed. The driver stops the car and gets out but Ram tells him to stay while he goes and bring Kasthuri. He walks towards Kasthuri. Kasthuri gets into the car and leaves oblivious to the happenings around her. Ram stops and talks to thinks that as long as Kasthuri is in town, it is trouble for him and plots something........THODARUM.

Feb 14(Wed):

Ram is in his room reading. Rekha comes in angrily and questions why he did not tell her about seeing Kasthuri that morning. Ram said it is not necessary for him to tell her about all the people he sees on the road. Rekha gets angry and tells him its not about all the other people she is concerned about but Kasthuri. Ram shouts at her and says he does not everyone in the house to be so concerned about Kasthuri who is after all a servant and nothing more. Rekha is shocked and tells Ram that she and the other suspect the reason for Kasthuri leaving the house is Ram because he is the only one who dislikes her so much. This argument is heard by Rekha's mom. She comes in and tells the same to Ram. Ram gets angry and tells Rekha to get out. Rekha turns around and questions him but Ram says that he only wants Rekha to go out of the room and leave him alone for some time.

Thanam's attai (2 of them), Murali and her father visit Siva's house to talk about wedding arrangements and plans. Siva's mom asks Siva to go and buy cool drinks. When Siva's father tells her to ask the servant to go, his wife says no and asks Siva to go. Siva leaves. Siva's mother (Megala I think), then talks about the numerous 'varams' that came for her son with huge dawry and because her son liked Thanam she had refused them. She then asks Thanam's father to give $50,000 incash, 25 sovereign gold and a motorcycle. Siva's father tells his wife not to ask for dowry but Megala is serious about it and tells them that these should be settled before the wedding and if not the wedding will not take place. Thanam's father tells her that they cannot afford this and decides to leave but Murali's mom tells him that she will take care of it. Although Thanam's father is not agreeable she tries to talk to Megala, but Megala says her words are final. They are about to leave and Siva enters. Megala quickly changes the subject and asks Siva to offer the drinks, everyone takes accept Thanam's father. Siva is confused about the situation in the house and feels there is something wrong but keeps quiet. Everyone takes leave.

At Ram Jr's house, Kasthuri is going about her chores, when the door bell rings. In come Ram Jr and his dad (still don't know his name because no name was mentioned). Ram Jr. has something in his hand and asks Kasthuri to guess. Kasthuri says she doesn't know and asks him to give it to her anyways. Ram Jr. gives her a bundle of jasmine. Immediately Kasthuri goes into flashback mode - Ram scolding her for accepting jasmine from Rameshwaram when whe was in Rekha's house. Ram Jr. brings her back to the present and tells her to take the flowers. Kasthuri accepts and says thank you. Ram Jr. then goes upstairs saying he is not to be disturbed for at least 30 mins. as he has homework to do. After he leaves, Ram Jr. dad tells Kasthuri that his son is very happy since Kasthuri came and doesn't know hoe long this will last but requests Kasthuri to stay for as long as she wishes and goes inside.

Kasthuri takes the flowers and sets it on the table and picks up the receiver and dials Rekha's number. On the other hand Ram picks up the phone and answers. Kasthuri hearing Rams voice keeps quiet and Ram tells whoever is calling to speak up otherwise to hang up. Kasthuri opens her mouth to speak but Ram hangs up the phone. Kasthuri puts the receiver back and sits down crying...........THODARUM

Feb 15 (Thurs):

Continuation from yesterday - Kasthuri is crying. Ram Jr. comes downstairs and sees Kasthuri, he calls he das who comes and see Kasthuri too. They watch for a minute and go upstairs again.

Thanams father, attais and Murali return home from Siva's. Thanam's father is angry and tells his sister that the wedding must be called off because he cannot afford to give the dowry. Attai tells him she willtake care of it. Gaja is listening. while they are discussing, Thanam returns quietly and listens. Attai turns around and see her and they change the subject. Thanam asks her attai about their meeting with her future Inlaws. Attai tells her that everything is find and the wedding is fixed. She then asks her father to tell the truth and her father tells about the dowry. Thanam is furious and tells them to stop the wedding and goes to call Siva. Attai stops and tells her that the wedding must go on. Murali intervenes and tells Thanam that maybe Siva doesn't know about this and only his mother is asking. Thanam says she will take care of it and goes to her room.

Kasthuri is serving dinner to both Ram Jr and his dad. Ram's dad tells Kasthuri not to serve them but to sit and eat with them. Kasthuri refuses and says she is not used to it and will eat later. Ram Jr. finishes his food and excused himself. Dad too finishes his food and tells Kasthuri to eat and goes upstairs. Kasthuri sits to eat. She takes one mouthfull and throws it out. She is shocked because the food is too salty and that nobody said anything about it. She feels bad and goes upstairs to apologize. Ram Jr's dad says it's okay because it is a mistake and mistakes happen. He looks at Kasthuri as says that there seems to be something bothering her and asks her about it. He says she doesn't have to tell him if doesn't want to. Kasthuri says she does want to tells him because by telling him she would feel some relieve. She relates the entire story from childhood to her marriage and the life at Rekha's house (all this is shown in quick flashback). Her boss is disgusted and angry and tells her that Ram should be punished for torturing her. Kasthuri says no because that would affect Rekha's life and she doesn't want that to happen because Rekha did no harm to her. He asks Kasthuri how she can think about another woman's life when her life itself is a question. Ram Jr's dad tells Kasthuri that he will think of something to get justice for Kasthuri.

Thanam arrives at the hospital where she works and a nurse comes and congratulates her. She also tells Thanam that Siva is distributing sweets to everyone and leaves. Thanam is angry and wants to put a stop to it. Siva comes by and asks her to take some sweets. Thanam asks him if he is rejoicing because thru this wedding he is getting lots of money, jewellery and a new bike. Siva is confused and tells Thanam he doesn't know what she is talking about. Thanam tells him not to pretend to be innocent says the weddingis off and goes inside leaving a very shocked and confursed Siva. THODARUM.

Feb 16 (Fri):

Nothing much really - only two scenes:

1. Parthasarathi (Ram Jr's dad), calls Rekha's house and Rekha answers the call. PS asks for Annamalai and Rekhas says he is out, PS then asks if she is Rekha and tells her he is calling about Kasthuri and tells her that KAsthuri is in his house. Rekha gets his address and tells him she will come shortly. After hanging up, she goes upstairs to Ram and tells him that she has found Kasthuri and that they need to go get her immediately. Ram is shocked and gets angry and tells her no because he has to go to work. Rekha then tells him that it is because of Ram that Kasthuri must have left the house and that Ram must come with her or otherwise she will tell her dad and go with him. Ram has no choice but agree and they leave for PS' house.

Rekha and Ram arrive at PS's house and Rekha wants to see Kasthuri. PS calls her and Kasthuri is shocked to see them. Rekha asks Kasthuri to come back but Kasthuri refuses saying that this is now her house. Rekha gets angry and tells that she would not leave the place without Kasthuri and tells her husband to bring Kasthuri and goes out to the car.

PS tells KAsthuri that she should go with them because Rekha really wants her and that is rightfully Kasthuri's house. He tells Ram that he should change his ways and not ill treat Kasthuri who is his first wife. Ram is shocked to hear this. PS tells him that he knows Ram's relationship with Kasthuri. Ram stares at KAsthuri in anger. He has no choice but to take Kasthuri with him. Ram Jr. comes down and cries. He refuses to let Kasthuri go. After much persuasion, he reluctantly lets go of Kasthuri. KAsthuri leaves for Rekha's house with a heavy heart. THODARUM

February 19th update
(I don't know many of the characters names, so I have used their real name)

Kasthuri decide to go with Rekha and takes farewell with Ram Jr, his dad advice Ram senior to take care of Kasthuri and not to trick an innocent girl like her. Rekha is very happy when she sees Kasthuri with her bag out side the gate, meanwhile Ram Jr cries more and more 😭 .

Dhanam is cooking food, and thinks about the past incidents with Siva. Kaja comes and sees the sambar cooking and wakes her sis up from her dream sequence. Siva comes there and wants to speak with her dad. Siva apology for the way his mother behaved when they visited them. He informs them that he didn't know about this matter and if he were there he would have stopped his mum. Delhi Ganesh sister also comes there. Siva gives them 1 lakh to buy the thing his mother demanded from them. Delhi Ganesh and his sister refuse to accept the money, but he convinces them to accept that. He also says Dhanams salary after her marriage will continue to come to their house and leaves. Sabitha anandh prise him and says he is a better groom than her son, Murali.

Rekha informs her mother they are coming home with Kasthuri. Her mother decides to act like she is very angry with Kasthuri. Annamalai is very happy to see Kasthuri, but Rekhas mum ignore her and ask why she has come back after leaving them. Kasthuri ask for forgiveness and Rekhas mum couldn't continue with her drama any more. They ask why Kasthuri leaves them, but she doesn't give them any answer and goes to make a tea for all of them. Rekha stops her and demand an answer from Kasthuri. She wont let her escape so easily like her parents. Kasthuri is staring at Ram and don't know what to say. Ram ask her to go inside and make tea, Rekha ask if Ram asked her to leave the house since she is listing to him than them. She decides to investigate for the reason for why she left the house. Kasthuri goes inside the kitchen and thinks flashback and cries 😭 .

ram goes and wakes up kasthuri in the middle of the night(thiruttu rascal) and yells at her for not having left that OOru. kasturi says that she did not want to come in front of him, but somehow she landed up here again. Ram threatens her to leave. kasturi says from now on she is in this house for rekha. kasturi says that she is not related to each other, but they have Unmayana anbu. ram is again asking her to leave the house. kasturi says that she wont go anywhere as she has promised to rekha. kasturi says that since rekha is pregnant and she will have to take care of her. kasturi asks her how would he know about promises. ram is yelling(eppadi no one is listening to his screams) kasturi says that she is sleepy, ram raises her hand to hit her. and then leaves(is kasturi pregnant in real life, she looks like that)

kasthuris youngest sis who got pregnant, is praying to siva in the temple and does not want to abort her baby andshe wants pazhani to get back before anything happens to her and the baby as she has faith in pazhani, and she wants siva to save her life. she remembers the dialogue, she had with him before pazhani left, where he was begging her to come so he could get married to her, as his parents want him to get married to someone else. she stands her ground saying that she will only marry after her older sis, so pazhani leaves saying that he will go to his place and be back in a jiffy to marry her

rekha's mama is reading his daily rasi palan, his chaila tells him about someone who asks about the 2 lakhs that they borrowed, but never returned. some silly dialogues follow. he goes and asks his mama about his business plan, mama says that he has handed over things to ram, ram says that the project plan is very bad. so he does not get any money

K's 2 sisters are walking in the road, and one lady stops and tells gaja about how the post boy is in pooncholai's village. gaja then leaves to tell to murali mama. she meets him and tells him to inquire about pazhani in maanjolai gramam(huh, maybe i heard the old lady wrong), so murali promises to help her.

K is brooming the house, and her ganesh annan comes, ganesh lectures his dialogues about how k left without telling anyone. Ganesh asks him about her favorite god, she says murugar, he picks one murugar picture and asks her to promise about something, k asks why, ganesh asks her to first promise, k ram etc are stressed, k is hesistant, finally she promises on murugar picture looking at ram. ganesh then asks what was the reason for you to leave the house. k is shocked so is ram

kasturi says that the god whom she prayed to asked her to leave the house(she keeps looking at ram) so she left, and then the god asked her to comeback so she came back. ganesh says that all that k said is the truth. the rest of the gang are confuse(ennada how in the world this kasturi can think of ram as god, aiyooo kadavule 🤢 ) characterless ram stays angry

rekha is waiting for someone, and k notices this and asks who are you waiting for Rekha says that she is waiting for ram, so she can serve him. K says that i will serve him dinner. rekha asks K to give a letter to ram, where she has actually scolded him and written a letter. rekha's mama is listening to all this and is very excited to know about it. when he hears the door bell, he goes and hides, ram comes, and k gives him a letter. ram reads the letter, and goes, k asks him to eat since there is no reaction, reks mama comes out. ram goes and asks ram why reks wrote a letter. rekha says that k is waiting for ram to finish eating so asks him to go and eat. reks mama diverts k and mixes slow poison in rams food.

ram comes with his usual grummpy face and k serves him as ram is going to eat, k says that sambar is poisonous, as a lizard was in the sambar. ram panicks and says that oh god rekha wold have also had the same sambar, k says no this she made jsut for him

mama is disappointed so am i

k's house gaja receives a letter from pazhani asking her to marry someone and settle down

Feb 22 (Thurs):

The intruder in Annamalai's house tries to stab him, suddenly he is hit with a Kudam. Ha! you guessed it, Kasthuri to the rescue (as usual). Then Annamalai and Kasthuri beat the intruder and Kasthuri wakes everyone up. Ram calls the police station and the intruder is handed over to th police.

Rameshwaram's man are waiting for him (2 mundams having mundane conversation -romba thevai!). Rameshwaram arrives and the 2 mundams tell him about how they arranged their rowdy friend to enter Annamalai's house and attempt to kill him. Rameshwaram tells them that it was a failure and now he is afraid that the police will know that it is their work and arrest them. His friends tell him that the rowdy has escaped Police custody and show him to Rameshwaram. Ramaeshwaram pays him some money and tells him to be out of sight.

Annamalai's wife is crying and being consoled by Rekha and Kasthuri. Annamalai comes and tells her not to worry and everything will be all right. He is asked by his wife to stay home as she is afraid for him. Ram too tells him to be careful. Rekha then tells her father that the intruder must have come to harm Kasthuri and not her father. Everyone is shocked. Rekha goes on to explain that someone tried to kidnap Kasthuri but failed and this may be another attempt on her life. At this time there is a call from the police station informing Anamalai about the rowdy's escape from their custody. They tell Anamalai that his family will be given police protection.

Gaja is taken to the hospital for abortion (the entire family minus Murali is with her). Gaja is introduced to the doctor who tells her not to worry and that it is not life threatening and she will be alright. Gaja is unhappy and tries to reason with her attai, but her attai tells her it is for her own good. Dr. is getting ready for the procedure. At the same time Palani is shown entering Murali's house. Both Palani's entry and Gaja getting ready for abortion is shown side by side.

Murali is getting ready to go to the hospital to see Gaja and is shocked to see Palani. Palani asks for Gaja and Murali beats Palani calling him a throgi. Palani explains that he was detained because of some problems. Murali then tells him that Gaja is in the hospital for abortion. Palani and Murali rush to the hospital.

Gaja is crying and when the doctor comes in to give her injection she pushes the doctor and runs out, followed by her attai and the rest. Gaja keeps running when Palani and Murali arrive. Palani calls her name and Gaja stops. She goes to him and slaps his face yelling at him and stops to the floor, watched by the rest of her clan. THODARUM.

Feb 23 (Fri)

Cont. from yesterday. Palani explains that he did not come to see Gaja because he was in jail for a crime he did not commit (I guess Ekta Kapoor took this line from Vijay's movie - Thullatha Manamun thullum) He continues to tell them he has come straight from jail to see her. All ends well. Everyone is happy.

Ram is getting Ready to go to work when Rekha comes and tells him that her fatheris waiting for him and wants him to hurry. Ram grumbles that no one respects him and that her father can wait a few more minutes and asks Rekha to leave so that he can get ready. Rekha leaves. Ram gets a call on his cell from Kasthuri's father. He tells Ram about Gaja's and Thanam's marriage. He wants Ram and Kasthuri to come at least one week early for the wedding. Ram says that he may not be able to but will tell Kasthuri to go. Her father wants to talk to Kasthuri. Ram gives Kasthuri to phone and tells her someone wants to talk to her. Rekha wants to know who and Ram says its Ram Jr. He tells Kasthuri to go outside and talk as the reception is not good. Kasthuri talks to her father and is informed of the impending marriage of both her sisters. Kasthuri assures her father that she will be at the wedding.

Ram tells Kasthuri to tell her family not to call his cell and if she doesn't he will tell them that he has severed all relations with Kasthuri. Kasthuri goes to Ganesh's house and uses his phone to call her home. Thanam answers and Kasthuri and Thanam talk about the wedding. Kasthuri than tells Thanam not to call Ram's cell. She tells her sister that she herself will call and tells Thanam to inform the rest fo the family.

Ram is waiting in the mottai madi. Kasthuri comes and Ram tells her to go away from the house because she is causing problems. Kasthuri refuses and says this is her husband's house and she will not leave. While they are talking Rameshwaram comes there and hears their conversation. He takes out his cell to record theri conversation......THODARUM.
