Sivagami wants Vinod to apologise. Vinod's parents plead him to apologise so that Abirami's wedding can take place. He gives in after some words from his mother in law and apologises. Sivagmi says she's a karaar woman and asks Abirami to get ready. Abi wants to have a word with her father, Thirumalai.

Abi & dad are all alone .. Abi talks about her promise to Sivagami and how all the jewellery she's wearing will go to Periyanaayagi (Kalyaanaraman's sister) & towards her wedding. Abi asks forgiveness for hiding the promise from him. Thirumalai breaks down saying half of the gold she's wearing is fake. Abi's shocked and asks what happened to the money. Thirumalai says he lost it and reveals how it all happened. Thirumalai's friend walks in and asks both of them to come. Abi declines and says she's going to tell Kalyaanam about the fake jewellery. Thirumalai's friend tries to stop her by saying Sivagami will do rudra thaandavam, but Abi leaves.

Abi calls Kaalyanam to her room. K arrives and Abi tells him about the fake jewellery. K's shocked. Thirumalai and his friend walks in and Abi says it's his decision and she will be happy with whatever decision he makes. Kalyaanam says this wedding will happen as stopping it will hurt her more than him. Abi's not convinced as Periyanaayagi's marriage will be affected, but Kalyaanam says he trusts Thirumalai and he will give the gold within 10 days. He asks Thirumalai not to worry. Sivagami's listening to all of this.

Abi sits next to Kalyaanam and puja continues. Sivagami stops the wedding as Kalyaanam is about to tie the knot. She asks Kalyaanam to leave and questions Thirumalai about the fake jewellery. Thirumala's shocked. Sivagami continues insulting Thirumalai and says she cannot accept Abi as her DIL. Thirumalai tries to convince her but Sivagami tells Kalyaanam to leave as his sister's marriage is at risk. Kalyaanam leaves slowly .. Thirumala's friend says he gave the idea to buy the fake jewellery and Thirumalai says he'll give the gold within 10 days, but Sivagami wants it immediately. She tells Thirumalai to ask his sons for the money. Thirumalai begs Vinod to help his sister .. Vinod looks at his sister.

Thirumalai and wife asks Vinod to help as he's their eldest son and Vasanth doesn't have any money. Vinod agrees .. but Vinod's FIL reminds him about the new house he's building. Vinod's unsure and Thirumalai asks Vinod's FIL to help and falls at his feet. "Appa!" Abi calls out and tells him not to beg anyone for kalyaana pichai. Abi walks over to Sivagami and says she's not interested in getting married to her son. Abi asks why this wedding should happen when it's all about jewellery. Kalyaanam interrupts. Abi calls him Mr Kalyaanaraman and says he doesn't have any rights. Abi goes on about why she agreed to all this and how she understood Periyanaayagi's feelings. She asks Kalyaanam why she should marry him .. ?? Abi tells them to leave. Sivagami tells her no one will marry her .. Abi stops her and says it's her problem. Sivagami leaves with Kalyaanam & sisters.

Thirumalai breaks down complaining about him losing the money and prays to god to take his life .. he falls down clutching his chest in pain.

Hospital. Abi's mum's worried about her husband and prays to god. Abi tells her not to worry.

Sivagami and Kalyaanam arguing about what happened. Kalyaanam says he agreed to Thirumalai's request about giving the money in 10 days but she stopped the wedding. K's sisters also side with him saying Abi told the truth and didn't do anything wrong. Sivagami tells them not to talk about her. Periyanaayagi's to be FIL arrives and says he's not ready to accept P as his DIL with Abi's jewellery and says Sivagami's crooked. He leaves. Sivagami's in tears.

Periyanaayagi is crying. Sivagami blames Thirumalai and says her vaitherichal will not let him die peacefully.

Outside the ICU, nurse informs them about Thiru's serious state. Abi's mother is worried and says god is not listening to her prayers. Abi blames Thiru's friend's for her dad's serious state as he suggested Thiru to buy fake jewellery. Doctor arrive and Abi questions him about Thiru. Doctor asks why Thiru's friend didn't listen to the doctors' advice when Thiru was admitted after a mild attack. Abi asks what else he's hiding from them. Thiru's friend says he lied because it would have scared them and how Thiru praised him for hiding it from them. Abi says whatever he did for his friend is now having an effect on his family. Doctor interrupts and asks them to pay 2 lakhs for Thiru's operation. Doctor leaves and all look worried. Abi's mum asks Thiru's friend to call Vinod and ask for the money. He's not sure after Vinod declined to help his sister, but Abi's mother hopes Vinod will help his dad
. He agrees to call Vinod.

Vinod complains about giving Abi as DIL to Sivagami's family and how they oor kooti insulted them. He gets changed and says how Abi's thimir hasn't dropped and he's ashamed to call her his sister. Vinod's wife, Akila, says Abi should be ashamed as he didn't even help when Thiru begged him for the money. Akila continues even if he didn't have money he should have said he would get the money for Abi's wedding to take place. She says no one's going to take the money when they go and that he has no eeram. Akila's dad stops her and says he told Vinod not to help. He reminds Akila how Abi's going to give her jewellery to Siva's daughter and not to keep for herself. Akila says it's Abi's thiyagam. Vinod tells her if Abi wanted the wedding to take place she should have fell at someone's feet and how her thimiru prevented Thiru from falling at Akila's dad's feet.

Phone rings. Akila answers the call. Thiru's friend, Somu, informs her about Thiru's state and asks for the 2 lakhs. Akila agrees to pay the fee and ends the call. Akila says Thiru's admitted in hospital after suffering an attack and Somu's asking for 2 lakhs. Vinod says Abi should pay for her dad and thaangi pidichufy him. Akila's impatient and says Thiru gave life to him and their father-son relationship is just one jenman long. Vinod tells her not to get emotional and it's no small amount. Akila says she doesn't care and it is equal to kaal thoosi. Akila's dad asks Vinod to go to the hospital and tells Akila to accompany him. Vinod is hesitant .. Akila's dad says Abi will talk this & that if he doesn't go. Both leave and Akila's dad is deep in thoughts.

Vinod and Akila arrive. Somu quickly asks Vinod to pay for the operation. Akila's disappointed athai didn't call her earlier. Vasanth comes in and questions about Thiru's health. Vinod says dad needs to have an operation and whether he brought the 2 lakhs. Vasanth reminds him about his financial situation .. naan enga poven? Vinod says dad should have used the 3 lakhs he gave Vasanth to buy jewels for Abi's wedding and none of this would have happened. Akila tells her husband to stop blaming Vasanth and pay for the operation. Vinod asks for Abi and gives the money to Akila to go and pay. Abi walks in and stops her and tells her to return the money to Vinod. Akila's confused and Vinod says she's insulting him. Abi says she used 2/3 of her jewellery to fund the operation fee. Akila reminds her it's for her wedding & future. Vinod says it's her thirmir for declining his money for dad's operation. Abi says she doesn't want him to say he gave uyir pichai to dad when some situation arises. Abi thanks Vinod for coming to his dad and asks him to leave. He take Akila with him. Vasanth feels sorry and says he can only shed tears. Abi tells him it's worth more.

Suganthi's waiting for Prakash. A guy comes to "correct" Suganthi and questions her as to whether she's waiting for someone. Suganthi scares him saying she's going to throw stones at boys like him. Prakask arrives and Suganthi asks why he's late. She goes on saying how his dad insulted them and said Periyanaayagi's wedding will not happen. Prakash thinks getting married to P is the only way to get close to Suganthi and agrees to marry her sister, come what may. He assures her saying he will convince his dad but the jewellery should be ready. Suganthi says she will inform Sivagami and holds his hand to thanks him. Suganthi leaves. Prakash calls her and says his varungaala pondaati should be happy .. ?? Suganthi says she will tell her sister.

Doctor says the operation is successful and they can go and see him after 30 mins. Maha, Thiru's wife, is happy that god didn't disappoint them. After 30 mins, Thiru opens his eyes slowly and Abi says he's all right. Thiru's worried about Abi's future and Somu tells him not to worry. Abi tells him to rest. Thiru says he wanted to rest after getting her married. Abi tells him to stop talking about her marriage and he's more important. Door opens .. Kalyaanam calls Abi. Vasanth grabs his shirt and asks why he came here.

Vasanth blames K's family for his dad's heart attack. Abi tells her brother to leave him and not to behave like them. K says he came to see Thirumalai and Abi tells him to see her dad. He apologises on behalf of his mother and Thirumalai's satisfied. He asks K whether K-Abi marriage will go on. K still wants the jewellery and says he would convince his mother. Abi tells him to leave and says she shouldn't have let him inside. Abi says he came to talk business and she's not ready to give her jewellery to K's sister. K reminds her that it was her decision to give her jewellery. Abi says she thought good about K's family, but now she's not ready. Abi says he should work hard and buy his sister jewellery like her father and not to expect it from his wife. She points out how she's was worried about K's sister but his family doesn't give a hoot about her feelings.. not even him. She says she cannot give money or jewellery and doesn't want to marry him. K's about to say something but Abi says she would complain him to the police for asking dowry. K leaves heartbroken. Man up, K!!

P's worried about her future. Siva tells her not to worry and come and eat. Suganthi walks in saying how Prakash mama agreed to marry her and would convince his dad when he returns in 2 days. Siva's happy and asks P to come and eat. Suganthi says P would come and eat when she repeats what Prakash mama told last. P and Siva wants to know what he said. Suganthi teases her and repeats what Prakash mama said.. my pondaati should be happy. P runs away and Siva tells Suganthi to make her eat. Siva prays to god and asks him to help her with what is in her manasu. Another girl for K??!!

K arrives and Siva questions him about where he went. K says he went to see his friend, but Siva doesn't believe him. She further questions him and K reveals he went to see Abi's dad. Siva's shocked. K explains what happened to Thirumalai but Siva tells him to go and thalai mulugufy Abi and her family. K disagrees. He says he cannot forget Abi and there's no vaazhkai for him without her. Siva's in tears. She reminds him about her struggles without his father and he should listen to her because of K. She continues, she's going to call the tharagar for another girl. K's upset.

Gowri's thinking about something and her son, Atharva, is sleeping. Vasanth come in and asks if the food is ready to take to the hospital. She says it's ready and to go and get it. Vasanth goes inside to fetch the food, but everything is empty and vegetables lay on the floor. Vasanth questions why she didn't cook as all the vegetable are there. Gowri says he can see that she didn't prepare the foods. Vasanth says she's not ready to cook for his family and she's acting like she's some maharani. Gowri says she's no maharani and the trouble started when she was about to cook. Flashback .. Gowri's cutting vegetables and Atharva wants Gowri to play with him. House owner starts calling her name and Gowri gets tensed. She tells him about Thiru and asks for another week to pay the advance. He says he cannot give them another week and the amount should be paid within two days or he'll throw everything outside. Flashback over and Gowri asks how can see cook after what happened. Vasanth's still concerned about the food, but Gowri asks what he's going to do to pay the money. Vasanth suggests pawning her jewelley again. Gowri tells him she's not pawning it again and asks him to find a job. Vasanth leaves saying he will get the food from hotel.

Aravind hands Suganthi juice and says he's worried about their marriage. Suganthi says it will happen and she's confident after what Prakash mama said. Aravind says she's calling him mama with urimai. She hand her juice to him and calls Prakash. Aravind looks confused. Prakash's water beating with his friends and answers the call. Prakash says he rushed it and called his dad to see if he can convince him, but he said no. He adds his dad locked him up but he's still in love with her sister. He again asks for the jewellery and assures her saying P & his wedding will happen. Suganthi ends the call and looks doubtful. She convinces Aravind all is well. Prakash's friend wants to know why he's lying to Suganthi. Prakash answers that he want Suganthi, her sister and the jewellery.
Thiru, Maha, Abi and Somu returns home from hospital. Maha asks Abi to open the door and to thristi kazhithufy them. Abi does it and all go inside. One of the onlooker says she can cannot stand their immsai doing thristi to an old couple instead of Abi & her husband. Inside, Somu complains about the power cut saying it comes and goes without warning. Abi asks her dad to go and rest but he decides to wait for the power. Someone calls Thirumalai and a bunch of people walk in.

It's their neighbours and they question if he's all right. He doesn't respond and one of them question how Thirumalai could do this to his own daughter. Another one says it's a good Siva came to know about the duplicate jewellery before Abi getting married or otherwise she'd be back home as vaazhaavetti. Maha asks whether they've come to hurth them. The lady continues all problem is a result of them hiding about the duplicate jewellery from Siva and now they will not trust them ever again. Abi gets angry and asks them whether they don't have problems in their family. One of them says it's also her fault for agreeing to give her jewellery to K's sister. Abi questions him as to whether his wife would give her jewellery if his sister was in a similar situation. Abi asks them to leave and they complain for coming to see them. Thiru's upset over the whole issue and asks Abi to get married to Kalyaanam like he asked. Athu eppadi nadakkum?? Abi says there's no room for K in her life. Somu wants to know her final decision. Abi answers she's going to work as most of the money is paid for his operation and the left over money is only enough for few weeks. Abi leaves.

Suganthi comes home after oor suthufying with Aravind. P calls her over and questions her if she talked to Prakash. Suganthi says yes and lies Prakash mama argued with his dad and made him agree. Suganthi then teases P and she runs away. Siva praises Prakash saying he loves P so much and she's lucky to have him. Suganthi tells her not to be too happy as she lied .. Prakash mama's locked up and his dad didn't agree. Siva's worried but Suganthi says Prakash mama will convince his dad but they need to get the jewellery sorted out soon. K arrives and Siva says they need to get the jewellery and there's no time to think about it. Someone calls Siva.

Siva invites the tharagar and tells him to find someone soon for K as there's no time left. Tharagar says it's not easy to find someone who will agree to her conditions. K tells him not to look for anyone and tharagar is confused. Siva tells him to keep quiet, but K says it's his vaazhkai problem. Siva's not ready to listen and tells Suganthi to give K's jaathagam. Suganthi's not happy but hands the copy. Tharagar leaves, advices Siva to convince her son. K wants to know what's going on and says his heart is full of Abi and he's no ready. He tells her to find some other ways to get the jewellery. Siva gets angry and slaps him. Siva tells him to get out and some nonsense about her sathai aadufing and blood kothichchufying. Suganthi and P tries to calm the situation and drag K inside. Siva polamubufies how she looked after them without their father and how no aan vargam is going to help her. She adds she needs no one's help and she will get all of them married on her own. She breaks down crying.

Akila finishes her prayer and walks around the temple. She spots Abi lost in thoughts and calls her. Abi welcomes her. Akila says she didn't even notice her and asks what she's thinking about. Abi says she came for an interview but was told GM will arrive in an hour so she's waiting here. Akila questions mama's health. Abi says he's well but he's polambufying about her wedding 24/7. Akila blames Vinod, but Abi says Vinod is like that and she's not upset over her brother. Akila tells her Vinod was ready but her dad talked him out of it. Abi says sorry for what she said to Akila's dad and she didn't mean to insult him. Akila tells her not to worry. Abi continues about not wanting to get married .. K and family are only after her jewellery. Abi says it's her duty to help her dad and they only have enough money to last another 2 months. Akila says it's her husband's duty to help them but he's not doing it. Abi tells her it's a gift to be able to help her dad and she's thankful to Vinod. Abi leaves saying it's time to attend her interview.

P's thinking and K asks what she wanted to talk to him about. P says his decision is right regarding Abi anni and he shouldn't miss her. K says he made another mistake and recalls what happened at the hospital. P's disappointed and says he shouldn't have asked about the jewellery.. K reminds P it's for her wedding, but P says he turned Abi's love into hate for some jewellery. She goes on how he failed to show Abi the same love she showed him. P tells him to change his faults like listening to Siva and leaving Abi.. P tells him to go and show his love. K is doubtful and P tells him not to worry about her as Prakash loves her to death. She tells him to go and convince Abi and they cannot accept anyone else as their anni.

Mobile rings and Vinod answers the call. He agrees to give someone job. Akila hands him coffee and says Abi's struggling. She looks for a change in Vinod's expression, but doesn't see one. She talks about the money problems facing them and as a result Abi's looking for a job. Vinod ignores her and asks whether she changed the coffee brand .. Akila tells him not to talk about the coffee and adds Abi doesn't want to get married and pleads him to give Abi a job in their company. Vinod reminds her how Abi insulted him and her dad. Akila's dad and mum walks in. He asks Vinod to help his sister as it's not good to let his sister struggle. He suggests giving Abi the manager position and adds it's good to keep ethiris close to them. Akila's happy and Vinod agrees. Akila's dad and mum walk outside and mum says he's changed. He says he will never change and says he's helping them to destroy them.

Vinod informs Abi about his mama's advice to give her a job. Abi tells him to use his brain and not to believe his mama as he's doing this to insult her. Vinod is annoyed. Abi asks him to leave with the fruits he brought with him for Thirumalai.

Kalyaanam wants to talk to Abi, but she ignores him and walks away. He followes her. Abi says she doesn't want to hear anything from him and to find something better to do. Kalyaanam says how it's wrong to expect jewellery from his varungaala wife and she's enough for him. Ippo too late! Abi says she's not ready to change her decision. He holds her hand to prevent her from walking her .. she tells him to let go and she's not going to listen to him. Kalyaanam doesn't let go and a police jeep arrives. The police men questions them about what's going on and if Abi knows Kalyaanam. She replies no .. she doesn't know him. They whisk him away.
