Oh! I read the first book while in High School and actually sort of liked Edward, Bella, and the characters until the vamps can turn to diamonds under the sun part. For a person who watched almost every show/movie ever made of Vamps, Wolves, and other world creatures...I was like W*F! Is she going to explain this? I actually wanted S. Meyers to focus on the vamps/Wolves worlds but instead she decided to focus on one of the most horrid love triangle ever. And no one came out looking good. Edward was a creep and p*ssy when it came to Bella. Bella was just-no words man. And Jacob was a creep and pedophile (connecting/mating with Bella's girl--just no). And the secondary stories about the vamps/wolves never came to fruition. And then there was the battle that ended with some sort of hugs/kisses--like W*F.

Dang! And, I said I wasn't going to go into a rant about Twitlight...😆

Vampire Diaries Season 5: Kendrick Sampson as Jesse

He wasn't on our dream casting list, but he'll definitely do! Kendrick Sampson(Greek) has been cast as Jesse in The Vampire Diaries Season 5, TV Guide reports.

Described as smart, very attractive, and sweet, Jesse could be interested in Caroline (Candice Accola) when he makes his debut in the October 10 premiere. Sorry, Tyler (Michael Trevino)!

However, there's one problem — um, besides Klaroline fans, of course. Jesse hates vampires. Why? Well, not everyone is as tolerant as Mystic Falls residents. Also, Jesse is an upperclassman at Whitmore College, so maybe he'll show Caroline and Elena (Nina Dobrev) the ropes before throwing garlic at them and trying to ward them off with crosses. (Or tries to stake them. We have no idea how knowledgeable Jesse is.)

Another new face was also cast: Olga Fonda (Nikita) will play the "emotional and beautiful" Nadia. The Russian beauty also appears in Season 5, Episode 1. If Jesse has his eye on Caroline, Nadia is equally interested in Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt). She meets the world travelers in Prague and tags along back to Mystic Falls.

There are also a few more as-yet-uncast new characters. Megan has a crush on Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), while a new doctor has intel on Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Plus, Whitmore College has employed another problematic professor.

Any guesses on which if these newbies will live the longest?
