Tthe whole sire thing looks like some last minute epiphany of the writers!! Just doesnt make sense... Why the wrietrs think Elena choosing Damon with full conscience will be a bad thing?? Its like indian version of Pativrata bahu!!🤢

first...caroline annoyed the hell out of me with her comments on damon...(i loved her scenes with klaus though)...this is a first...she is one of my favs..but today i just wanted her to get lost...

second...how on earth can elena be sired to damon when she refuses to do half the things he says?...just because she agreed with damon on the dress she's sired?...and anyways didn't she say 'whatever you want to wear, april' before leaving?...if she was sired, would she have said that?

this track, like others mentioned, is clearly to keep both fan bases happy...but it's really annoying and full of loopholes...i hope that caroline was wrong and elena's not sired to damon...because otherwise it just reflects badly on the writers...how can they mess it up?

The attraction is just because she has feelings for him, and being a vampire heightened that. I didnt take that being sired influenced those feelings in any way.

And about being sired, I thought it might be, first of all it's Damon's blood that turns her. Then, the blood sharing. And maybe the relationship they already had, and the trust factor influenced it.

Okay, I actually don't mind this "sire" bond story line at all and I don't know why everybody is freaking out so bad. Sure, I think it could have been a little better developed prior to this episode because it came across so heavy-handed last night that it kind of made my head hurt. Ultimately, though, it's going to be interesting to watch it all play out and I think most observant fans of the show realize that Elena's feelings for Damon weren't based on any bond. It'll be nice for Elena to have to actually put some thought into how she feels about this guy.

Stefan isn't wearing bossy-pants anymore, he's wearing crazy-pants! Loved it!!!!

The only thing that irritated me about the episode was the way the final scene was cut with Caroline and Stefan ruining both a beautiful moment and a beautiful Ed Sheeran song with their incessant chatter. Oh well, uninterrupted Delena sexy times probably would have made my tv melt, so I guess they did us all a favor

BTW- I'm team Salvatore!!!!Don't mind Delena or Stelena as long as I get to see the brothers together as one and the originals- I'm happy...

I really find this sired track stupid and irrelevant. There are clearly many things Elena didn't do which Damon asked her to. Secondly, as you are saying, if Elena is really sired to Damon, then why didn't Klaus' hybrids get sexually attracted to him if Elena is to Damon?

This track won't make much sense even if it is found to be true. I don't get why DE fans never get their peace of mind? It's like whenever we see some hope for Delena, it's clearly snatched away the next moment. 😕
