Episode 13: Bringing Out The Dead
After a little violence between the two brothers, and that's when Klaus reveals to Elijah that he killed Michael. He's willing to tell Elijah the truth of their mother but first he had to swear his loyalty-destroy Stefan.
Sheriff Forbes appears at Elena's revealing that the stake used to kill Brian was from her parents lake house. Damon and Elena wonder if Stefan or Klaus are the killers.
Damon had left a note in Elijah's pocket asking to meet. He then asks what is in the locked coffin.
Bonnie, Abby and Stefan arrive at the tomb? Where the coffin is hidden. Elena shows up and she asks Stefan if he killed Brian. Stefan questions Elena if she asked Damon when she questioned him without a doubt.
Meredith and Caroline speak and apparently Care's father is upset about being treated with vampire blood and he was also discharged already without Caroline knowing. But she then hears her fathers phone in the hospital. When Elena and her follow the sound, they find him stabbed dead in some equipment room.
But when Caroline takes out the knife freaking out, she's reminded by Elena that he has vampire blood in him. Right then, he opens his eyes.
Abby and Bonnie come to the conclusion that in order to unseal/unbind the spell, the two had to do it together.
[i won't even attempt to write this part out. Damon's Dialogue is enough XD ] DAMON TO STEFAN:
"oh yes, this is about me kissing Elena. Just remember if it wasnt for Klaus, you wouldn't have become such a dick and that kiss would've never happened so get ready and get happy. We're going to negotiate a fake truce and I don't want your attitude screwing up."
Care's father is very hungry but he won't drink blood. He is ready to die but won't complete the transformation.
Alaric realizes that Meredith killed Brian. [he realizes cuz of a bunch of things like Damon's car being at the wickery bridge and Meredith there and whatnot]
Stefan is as grumpy as ever during the dinner with Klaus and Elijah. The small interaction between the 4 is very entertaining.
Caroline and Elena are talking and then she all of a sudden asks if there was any chance Tyler stabbed his father but Elena refuses and then tries to comfort Caroline when she talks about forcing to drink the blood. The 2 have a heart to heart talk about their parents [their dads] and then they hug. Matt walks over to them and Caroline hugs him.
Klaus finds the DE kiss and trouble between S-D hilarious. Elijah then starts talking about some Tatia whom both Elijah and Klaus loved. In order to end the feud, their mother took Tatia but the two had consumed her blood through wine the day their mother was doing the spell which made them vampires. Tatia wouldn't choose one of them which causes stefan and Damon to look each other.
Even an hour later, the spell doesn't work and Bonnie tells her mother she won't open up herself for the spell and has nothing to do with the spirits hating her. Abby says sorry for abandoning her and Bonnie tells her Abby must try to help her. So they do the spell again and the coffin is almost closed. Bonnie goes to call Damon and suddenly the coffins opens violently.
Deal: Klaus gets the coffin back and the originals leave town. But Klaus will not agree because he's worried about Elena's mortality. Elena is required for the hybrids. Apparently the worst thing for her is Damon and Stefan.
Matt walks Elena to her house. But the lights don't turn on in her house. Using the flashlight they search for candles and find a puddle of blood. Following the blood they're lead to Alaric who is stabbed. Ric tells Elena to kill him so she does. "I'm the doppelgnger, that makes me supernatural"-Elena.
Klaus offers that Elena marry Matt, have children which means more Petrova bloodline children. Stefan doesn't agree to that so Klaus grabs him and puts his hand into the fire. Threatening to burn him, Klaus demands Damon bring his coffin to him. Elijah goes with Damon.
Caroline asks her father to rethink his decision of not becoming a vampire but he doesn't agree. It goes against his beliefs. He tells her she's exactly what he and her mother had wanted her to be like.
Elijah returns with the rest of their brothers, Kole, Finton and Rebekah and they all attack him. Elijah lets Stefan and Damon go. He apparently didn't trust Klaus's fake promises.
Caroline's dad dies. Elena requests Matt to stay with her until Alaric wakes up. "I can't lose anymore family."-Elena. The two hug.
"So I guess I can't thank you for saving me from Klaus?"-Stefan. "Shut up"-Damon.
The two tell each other they love Elena.
While Elena talks to Liz, Alaric wakes up.

Rebekah tells Klaus that they will leave him alone after killing Elena. And then their mother enters. She was in the coffin. Turns out, she is forgiving Klaus instead of killing.
