I always wanted Damon and Elena to happen. But then its all one sided at this point. I always felt that Damon and Elena understand each other sooo well. Yes, Elena understands Damon, but unfortunately i don't see the love. if DE were to be the endgame, there shud be some progress from Elena's side. Damon loves elena unconditionally, BUT he does not want to win her. he himself said, he does not deserve her, and doesn't even mind being the bad guy in front of him 😆 because he knows elena would never love him 😆 Tragic is wat Damon's life is, but he never broods on tat fact. But, it would be interesting to see Elena's feelings for Damon, if they are planning to go tat way (considering the season finale 😕) cause its evident tat she does care for Damon a lot. or else be happy seeing Dalena the way they are. every relation needn't be given a name, lol.

I agree with magicalkash. its 2 seasons only. and TVD atleast will go till season 6( the producers want it to run that long).so by that time EVERY character would have hooked with every other character on the show..( its tv series ppl .look at gossip girl)so we cant really say NOW that whos going to be then endgame.as a damon fan. i would want damon to be happy at the end. :D

Why? SE is great... loving, caring, perfect soul mates, etc... DE for me is...better.. Their chemistry is remarkable. Damon is always there when Elena is in trouble. He is the one who can make her smile even during the most crucial times. Damon cares for Elena more than anybody does. On the other hand, Elena is the one who brings out the better side of Damon. She makes Damon wanna be a better man... and Damon is a changed man... a better being... and we all have witnessed that!!.. Its like they're meant to be, you know! Even if DE doesn't happen in the end, I just want Damon to be happy, since he is the most tortured character in TVD.

I mean SE and DE are so profoundly awesome in such diversely brilliant ways!!
Not just them..At points Katherine Damone and Katherine Stephen have had their appeal to me..I even like Elijah and Kathy and Elijah and Elena together!!😆😆

I am all for a good storyline so matter how it goes as long it's convincing and not butchering of the characters!!

N with the wild speed TVD goes ahead and does mind boggling stuff I couldn't be sure if Jeremy and Caroline start dating**Ew**.Or Bonnie and Damon..**Coolness**

But YAH...The flirtatiousness in all relationships should be maintained that's what makes love them!!
