Chapter Three

As she was writing, Archana ma'am entered. "Kiya, did you finish writing everything?" She spoke hastily as she searched for RD Sharma's Maths book in the drawers. "No ma'am," answered a reluctant Kiya as she slapped the book on the table lightly. "What!" Archana ma'am spoke astounded. There were very few questions and Kiya had 40 minutes. Yes, that is something else that only 30 minutes had passed; but the work could be done in 20 minutes. But due to KD's continuous sarcastic chatter and interference, Kiya had not been able to complete it.

"Yes ma'am. One question is left," KD spoke trying to infuriate ma'am more. He smiled slyly at Kiya. Kiya frowned gritting her teeth in return. "Ma'am, it was because of him that the work was incomplete," Kiya spoke in self-defence. Enough was enough. Ma'am looked all interested towards her. "That ma'am when I was writing, he was continuously asking stupid questions. That is why I was unable to complete my work." She completed her alibi.

KD's jaw dropped. The guts of the girl- she complained! Never had anyone shown this courage infront of him. Anyways, after her entry in his life, many things had happened for the first time. Then what was this?

"Keshav, do I expect this from you?" Ma'am spoke with utmost shock. She dint expect KD- her favourite student to act in this way! KD just had head down. It was the first time he had recieved scolding from Archana ma'am. "Say sorry to her!" Ma'am said to him. He was spellbound. Sorry- and to her?
