Chapter Two

"Are you done, Your Highness?" Kiya spoke all irritated in an extra sugary accent. "Oh yes, Ms. Gujral. Thank you for your great favour." He replied back in a wierd tone. "Oh don't bother- it was my pleasure, Mr. Desai." She made a face as she took the duster and rubbed the board. She took the book Archana ma'am, their Maths teacher had given her to write the revision from and started writing peeping inside it.

At some point, she wrote 'the no.s' instead of 'the numbers'. "What is that, Kiya? 'Thenos'?" KD spoke knowimg what it meant. But why would he leave any chance to irritate Kiya? The class giggled silently ad Kiya turned towards him with an irritated expression on her face. "It is 'the numbers', Mr. Desai. For Pete sake you are in tenth standard." Kiya spoke sternly.

"Oh no!" He spoke fakely in a strange tone and stood up ascending towards the board. The class chuckled more loudly on this.

Her face clearly showed she was highly irritated. As he came closer, her heart leaped. She looked directly into his eyes, ready for a war.

But he in return, he took the duster and rubbed that part off. He took the chalk from her hand and wrote 'numbers' on the board. "This is how it is written, Ms. Oh-so-lazy!" He commented as he placed the duster on the table. Dusting his hands, he went and sat back on his place. She rolled her eyes as she continued writing on the board the revision sums.
