Doing an episode analysis after a long time.😆I know that the saas-bahu style of giving somebody a really horrible accident and replaying the scene in black and white stuff is over. But you can still find certain shows using that same zoom-in, dramatic bg music stuff, albeit in small doses. I liked how it wasn't OTT. They didn't show Panchi being flung in the air, they didn't show Ranveer shouting 'I'm guilty! Somebody kill me!' right in the first moment. It lasted for basically five seconds after which the Buddies went into pandemonium.
The episode wasn't really tragic or didn't give me feels for some reason, but I think its because of that amount of predictability: We all knew that the Make-Ranveer-repent track was going to come sooner or later. I'm kind of used to seeing the whole have-a-huge-fight-and-reunite-after an accident thing.😆
But if the CV's choose to make Panchi's parents tell her to stay away from Ranveer or something unexpected like that, gosh, I will have MAJOR feels...guilt tracks don't work until they're dragged out and the audience starts feeling sorry for the guy😆 Even though KD betrayed Kiya's trust, I'm seriously wishing everybody would stop circle-jerking him(Of course, Panchi's accident will serve the purpose😆)
Piddi-what to say about the guy dude? In today's episode both he and Banga committed the same crime: They gave more importance to a petty rivalry instead of the larger picture. Banga forgot that Royal's loss was his loss, and Piddi forgot that Panchi getting better should be his main concern. KD really impressed me with his no-nonsense attitude and the way he handled the situation. In reality, I would expect KD to blame Ranveer, because he's the one who really has the beef with him.
I'm not angry with KD for slapping Piddi. I felt sorry for Piddi because he has always been a loyal friend to KD. You cannot fault the guy for his loyalty. But KD didn't slap Piddi out of a sense of arrogance, and even though the precap showed it that way, I don't think he did it for Kiya either. I think KD being the kind of person he is really isn't flattered with the way Piddi goes after anybody who lambasts KD.
We all have that friend who seems to take our problems more seriously than we do, and while its sweet, sometimes we have to remind them that if we aren't upset, they shouldn't have a misplaced sense of self-righteousness either. I think Piddi has his own set of problems, but because everybody thinks he's the funny guy, he's not allowed to show them. That is why he might be using KD as a medium for taking his anger out. KD is just an excuse for Piddi to get angry at all those who think of him as a joker.
I'm curious to see what they do now. I think Junglee will be really disgusted, because the Buddies did make a big mess. They really need to learn teamwork, and I think Jaitley might consider leaving but stay just because he doesn't want to give up before he thinks he's taught them everything.😆
plz share your views, and no joota chappals.😆

yup...its strange how KD stoically accepts everything everyone says while Piddi gets hyper..it's easy to confuse that for Piddi sticking up for his friend, but I think Piddi equates KD being an outcast to his own sense of being different.
thanks!😳

IMHO, a nice well balanced episode after a long time ... KD spoke true words of wisdom today - Is it so important to win, that one disregards all rules to go for the win regardless? As expected, KD took control of the situation without losing his panic. As a son of a policeman, he knew exactly what to do under pressure.

Banga is very petty and myopic. The sad truth is guys like him exist to make this world an unhappy place. Hopefully he'll get his comeuppance someday or he'll realize that materialistic gains don't mean much when you've lost all goodwill.

Piddi - He is a misfit, an outcast and an extremely unstable character. Initially I admired his one-track devotion for a tough gal like Bobby, but lately with Bobby's absence he has been getting on my nerves. Although he has his heart in the right place, more often than not, his hormones rule the roost. I remember the time when Bobby had slapped him for bringing her a revealing dress for the I-day party. Well deserved slap I had said even then! Samar-Piddi track where they chase the light skirts bored me to tears. And who can top off his infamous role in poisoning KD's mind against Kiya based on his own misguided perceptions. Yes he stands up for KD, yes he respects KD, yes KD feels very protective for him. But that does not mean KD should put a blanket on ALL of Piddi's failings. It will be a classic case of spare the rod and spoil the child. Piddi is child-like. But he is NOT a child. As insensitive as this may sound, I didn't feel sorry when KD slapped him in precap. Perhaps it was a slap well deserved. It remains to be seen where the makers take Piddi-KD bond at this point. It will be real mature of them to show Piddi-KD talk it out, rather than fall out. I cannot imagine a least liked guy like KD without someone like a Piddi to support him.

RV - He was guilty and he knew it. He blamed himself for the accident and will continue to do so. Pretty decent acting by Kunal. RV knows that Panchi has been his rock solid friend for eternity. Their temporary fall out has never affected him because somewhere he knew it was temporary. He was the first one to run and gather Panchi on his lap. Even in the car, he had her head gently cushioned in his lap, and his face shocked, devoid of expressions. He was a completely broken man today. I think on some level KD got it today. Which is why he didn't blame RV this moment, despite their usual opposite points of view.

Whew! Wrote longer than I thought ... 😆
