Bihaan was about to kiss Thapki when the door bell interrupted him. Thapki opened her eyes and looked at Bihaan's face. In response to his inquiring eyes, she shook her head telling him that she had no idea who must be ringing the bell at this time. Bihaan looked at his mobile. It was 8 pm. He started getting up but Thapki held his hand and stopped him from going.
Bihaan: "There is some one at the door"
Thapki: "Don't go"
Bihaan: "Y not?"
Thapki: "Coz I wanna know"
Bihaan held her face in his hands and kissed her forehead. He then looked at her with a naughty smile.
Bihaan: "And u will but not now and not like this. We need to get u treated first. Till then let's c who is on the door"
Bihaan got up from his place and moved out. Thapki lay down on her pillow to bring her heart beat back to normal.

After having the dinner brought by Bua ji and her grand son Vinod, Thapki went to the kitchen to clean the utensils. Bua followed her into the kitchen holding a box.
Thapki: "Bua wats in this box?"
Bua: "Yesterday u told me na that u might be pregnant so I made these special laddoos for u to keep u strong... Take these with u when u leave and once they finish, call me and I will send more"
Thapki (with a sad face): "I am not pregnant Bua"
Bua: "U r not!!! but yesterday..."
Thapki (interrupting): "Forget about yesterday coz then even I was not sure"
Bua: "Oh but don't worry my child. U r so young.. U will definitely conceive real soon. But make all efforts to get pregnant as soon as possible. Remember that a woman is stronger when she gives birth to a child and no one can take her place then"
Thapki (recalling the latest events) "Bua y r u saying so? Bihaan is not like that.. he will never give my place to any one"
Bua: "I am not saying that he will but do u remember my youngest daughter Shilpa?"
Thapki: "Yes I do. The one who got married 2 years ago"
Bua: "Yes the same one. She does not have any children yet and her husband is not the same with her. Her in laws also always scold her for being incapable of giving them a grand child"
Thapki: "Oh that is so sad. But my Bihaan is not like him"
She told that to Bua with full confidence but deep down some where, a new fear took birth.

In a small coffee shop, two people were having a discussion. The waiter who was standing at the main counter (which was very close to the table they were sitting at) could not stop but eavesdrop.
Woman: "Y r u such a coward?? I am telling u no one will even find out abt it. U just do as I tell u and rest will be handled by me"
Man: "But wat if Bihaan finds out, he will definitely kill me"
Woman: "Oh God... Y r u so scared of him??"
Man: "Should I not be?"
Woman: "U leave him for me and handle "Her". Do as I say... U know my plans never fail. We can do it... It is not the first time that..."
The waiter was then called by his Manager and he left his place wondering whose life these two wanted to ruin.

Thapki was sad while leaving her home. Bihaan tried to cheer her up by promising her that he will bring her back every now and then to meet her Bua as well as her friends... Gulabo and Ram Pyaari.
The two reached PN in evening. Both looked very tired. Bau Ji was sitting in the front lawn having his evening tea, when the two entered PN.
Bau Ji: "Oh my children are finally back. I was missing u badly"
Bihaan: "Namaste Bau Ji.. How r u? And yes we missed u too"
Thapki: "Yes Bau Ji. Here I miss those ppl and there I missed u ppl"
Bau Ji: "I am fine and feeling even better after seeing u two. Thapki bitiya, u look tired. Ydon't u go in and take rest"
Thapki who was actually tired, left for her room where as Bihaan joined Bau Ji for evening tea.
Bau Ji: "So how was ur first trip with Thapki?"
Bihaan: "It was gud and a much needed one. So many misunderstandings got cleared"
Bau Ji: "Misunderstandings?"
Bihaan: "Yes Bau Ji. With out knowing each other well, we had concluded a lot of things but now everything is fine"
Bau Ji: "I am glad that u two got time to clarify things. But that shd make u feel relaxed.. Y i sense tension in u?"
Bihaan: "Bau Ji, I need to tell u sthg"
Bau Ji: "Yes please go on"
Bihaan shared the news of Thapki's illness with Bau ji which made him worried initially but when Bihaan told him abt the cure and how everything had already been planned out, he felt reieved.

Vasu: "I knew she was gud for nthg... Now u r telling me that Bihaan has married a defective piece"
Bau Ji: "Wat r u saying? Thapki is not a defective piece. She is just sick and has to go under a surgery. I am just asking u to take care the poor girl until she recovers. She has no mother or sister. U r her mother now and u must..."
Vasu (angrily interrupting): "I am not her mother. I am not her anything. Don't ever try to establish any relationship between us"
Bau Ji: "Okay but even in the name of humanity..."
Vasu: "I am not going to help her in any way... Also the family has already left for ur friend Mr. Singhania's daughter's wedding in Delhi... I am also leaving tomorrow... End of discussion"
Saying that she left the room.

Thapki and Bihaan were sitting in Doctor's room. The doctor had examined Thapki and had asked Bihaan to complete the formalities and bring Thapki tomorrow for the surgery. Thapki who had been very calm till now, suddenly looked really nervous.
Doctor: "There is nthg to be worried abt. U r young and courageous. After surgery, u can go to ur home in 2-3 days"
Thapki: "So that means I will have to stay in hospital for few days?"
Doctor: "Yes dear. But even after going home, u will have to be very careful. U must do as I advise or u may face complications. Mr. Bihaan, who will accompany her on her surgery day?"
Bihaan recalled how lame excuses Bau Ji gave to him when Bihaan asked Bau Ji to ask Maa to be with Thapki during her operation time. He knew Maa would have refused as she did not like him and esp Thapki. Every one else had already left for Delhi to attend the wedding. Only Bau ji and Vasu Maa were at home.
Bihaan: "My family is not here so only I will be available"
Doctor: "Okay no problem. I will c u both tomorrow"
Thapki and Bihaan, both left the hospital with different thoughts running thru their minds.

Thapki and Bihaan were lying in their bed. Thapki had her head on Bihaan's chest where as Bihaan's arm was holding her tightly.
Bihaan: "Y r u so quiet tonight?"
Thapki: "I am just thinking abt tom"
Bihaan: "And wat r u thinking abt?"
Thapki: "Nthg... just abt wat will happen tom and will it be painful or..."
Bihaan sat in the bed. Thapki who had her head on his chest had to sit too.
Bihaan: "Don't take tension for nthg. In fact did u not realise that we r home alone. Let's do some romance in the house tonight"
Without waiting for a reply he held her hand and made her stand. He only waited for her to wear her slippers and then dragged her out of their room.

The two entered the kitchen. It was late night so all the servants had gone to bed. Bihaan switched on the light and looked around.
Thapki: "Wat r u doing here?"
Bihaan looked Thapki in eyes and held her tightly by her waist. The pink color of her dress suddenly shifted to her cheeks.
Bihaan: "U know how pretty u look when u blush... This much pretty that I feel like making and feeding my special halwa to u"
Thapki: "This is ur idea of romance?"
Bihaan turned her around and hugged her from the back.
Bihaan: "Yes. Do u have any objection?"
Thapki who was not used to his closeness, could not say anything in return. Her fast heartbeat replied on her behalf.
Bihaan moved in kitchen by hugging her the same way and made her pick halwa ingredients for him. Finally he made her sit on a high stool in the kitchen. He freed her hair from her catcher and let them loosely fall on her shoulder.
Bihaan: "U look pretty with ur hair like this"
Thapki: "Will u keep doing this or will u also start making halwa?"
Bihaan (tucking her hair strand behind her ear): "As u wish Ma'am"
Bihaan made halwa like an expert. He also did not leave a single chance to tease her in any possible way. Thapki responded with shining eyes and rosy cheeks.
The two ended up eating that tasty halwa while watching "Kuch kuch hota hai" in their TV Lounge.

Next day, Thapki was waiting in her room, all ready for her surgery. Bihaan was at reception, completing some basic formalities. With a knock on the door, Sheena walked in the room.
Sheena: "Hello Thapki, how r u?"
Thapki who was not expecting her, got stunned.
Sheena: "U look confused. Bihaan told me abt ur surgery as he had to take few days off for this"
Thapki: "Oh"
Sheena: "U look tense. Please don't be. It is just a minor operation. U will be totally fine"
Thapki: "Yes i know. Doctor has already briefed me abt it. But any way thanks for coming and wishing me"
Sheena walked towards her and took her hand in hers.
Sheena: "U do not worry at all. I am here for u. I will be here with Bihaan until u come out of Operation Theatre..."
Sheena was saying more but Thapki was not listening to her any more. Her face had turned pale when her eyes noticed the same gold ring in Sheena's ring finger that she had seen in Bihaan's wardrobe with "I love u... Will u be mine?" note.
