Besides editing, I do write weekly feature stories , update my blog regularly, review books, write sponsored reviews and content for websites.

You seem to have lot in your mind. I don't know properly about Germany, but the scenario is same everywhere. Too much candidates and fewer seats.

Do let me read your "project". I love to read and new projects always fascinate me. All the best for everything sweety!!

Maybe I should consider becoming an editor, My old English teacher was pretty shocked when I told her that I wasn't panning on studying literature in uni, anyway 🤣 And you also have a blog? Nice! I once thoughts about starting one, myself, but then again, I have no idea how exactly this works, lol.

In regards to aspiring doctors, yes, the situation is the same, everywhere. Though, getting into psychology seems to be fairly easy in most countries from what I have found out - except, of course, Germany It's simply a popular field around here; people make good money.

Chalo, let's see what my future holds for me.

If you are interested, I could brief you in on what I was planning 😉 It's supposed to be a fictional work digging into the human psyche, social and cultural norms of a country as much as beliefs and ideals - all done through two people, their families, pasts and people surrounding them. Mostly.

@bold.. I was guessing that your project would be like that only. It sounds nice. If you see lots of young people are dealing with these issues..their beliefs, their culture, family obligations vs personal dreams. I am sure it would be an interesting read as you are one of those people to whom the writing comes naturally.

Regarding blogging, its fun. Try once and it won't let you down. Do you want to read my blog BTW?

I agree, Dplee! I mean, look at myself: I am originally from Pakistan [well, not my ancestors, but, yeah...] and I have never cared much for the country, my picture of it tainted by (Western) media and the perspective with which many people here view Eastern countries. Now, I am discovering the country and culture for myself, I see its beauty, I see the people in a different light - it has some serious problems, no denying that, but it has many good things, as well. Yes, we are not like the Western countries - but why is that bad? Why should everyone follow their standards and examples (not that it has done any good to those poor countries who were forced to/tried to be forced)? Every country has their own culture, value and beauty, and it has its right to choose for itself how it wants to develope - I wish humans would start to respect this.

So, one of my protas will be along these lines - battling her prejudices and learning to love a heritage she's never cared much, for 😉 But I might tell you more in a PM, sometime.

And sure! I'd love to have a look at it 😃

@Bold... Amina, if you can manage to grab the right publication agent, your book will be an asset to the present global situation. I mean look at Malala, people often forgot that she belongs to Pakistan. Every country has its own good or bad qualities. Regarding the heritage, it is often same everywhere. It is a touchy subject too. Do PM me whenever you feel to do it. BTW, I PMed you my blog address!!

It started well but I abandoned it in the middle. It is about terrorism related to climate change and I just could not get along with the subject.

Moved on "the palace of illusions". This is more interesting than I expected. My only issue is that even though it is written in first person, Draupadi's psyche is not explored as well as it could have been. Many parts of the book are just stories about various characters being told to Draupadi. The book is geared towards foreign readers.

The portrayal of Kunti is very interesting. The story from her perspective would also be interesting.

Could you PM me your blog address as well? I would love to check it out. I have blogged on and off and planning to start again soon.
My one issue is I type so much slower than I think. I keep missing words here and there and have to proof forever. Takes me twice as long to write. 😆😆
