It is difficult to feel bad for Manveer. I have to think before Simran came to the house she was a spiteful woman. There is nothing positive about her. Her marriage was weird before Sahiba entered the Brar mansion. As a woman she should have understood how it might have felt for another woman to live a loveless marriage, but she could only see her sons pain. That is is point, she can nothing else but the pain that resides with her or Angad. She continuously mistreats Sahiba. If Angad develops feelings for Sahiba then he is turning against her; she is a pitiful woman. She should be happy her sons marriage might work and he might actually fall truly in love. She should be happy he did not end up with a scuzzy woman like Seerat. Sahiba did not know Simran was Inder’s child and many say after she found out she manipulated the situation; I feel she continued to treat the Simran situation as she would have regardless of knowing Inder’s truth. People say she should have told Angad the truth about Simran, but look how he reacted with the Manveer situation and yet he has not confessed the whole Seerat situation. Overall, I sometimes feel Sahiba is villainized in this forum for being cold, etc. I feel completely different when she’s had nothing but abuse in the Brar mansion.

I’m not denying here that Sahiba has done some wrong things. Her Simran jhaap has been so annoying and constant. Yes she could have handled it better and Angad has not forgiven her yet. If you remember he was still angry with her and all this kidnapping thing happened and they never got a chance to speak or work things out fully.

Spot on! Agreed Manbir had to go through a lot and her son was her only solace. But now what she has is some kind of obsession...that her son should hate Sahiba like how she does...As a mom, wouldn't you want your son to have a happily married life..to have a good family...here this woman acts so selfish... If it were a wife like Seerat I could understand...but Sahiba had helped Manbir ..she hadn't told anyone of the stupid act Manbir did...and even then shes bullying her and asking her son to choose either his wife or her...

But in retrospect, I again feel shes better than Seerat..she at least didn't try to break her own sisters home or go behind her husband or duped her mom,sister and fiance, and run with their hard-earned/borrowd money and then come back as though nothing happened...(in one way it's been a win-win for Seerat) But yaah Manbir is definitely self-centered and has a suffocating personality...but not as disgusting as Seerat tho.
