If you haven't watched the og, so let me tell me you that ML family isn't religious much, they talked about. It was after the arrival of FL in the house she introduced the traditional and spiritual things in the family.

The path Scene, the more simple the more elegant it should look at the god's room. As Sahiba said that the decoration wasn't that bad but full of show off, especially the glasses and lights which were irritating the eyes. But she added the simplicity in that place by changing the look of it. It also shows the future that Angad has to be simple with his wife where shosha, luxury etc doesn't matter to her. She is a simple lady with high morals and principles.

The passes and prashad - Angad said that like others workers she should have gone too after the work. But the point is she wants the passes not the money. And it was Angad who should have given the thing after the work . And if anyone wanted to join a Puja or something, should we ask them to go? I guess no.

Angad character might be good but the way he treats people from lower class is not good. He thinks they only understand the language of money, but it's not with everyone. Sometimes they just wanted respect and normal treatment like others, if they work for you.

Money can give everything but not values and traditions. There are certain traditional values which we are forgetting in this modern era. We have forgotten to be humble in this show off world.

Sahiba character sheds light on the simplicity and being humble of what we have. It is good to dream and expect more in life but that doesn't mean you would start planning like Santosh and Seerat or Garry or Jasleen.

Well said! When doing puja, devotion and inner simplicity matters most. Angad doesn’t seem to get it, and Daarji not Manveer are guiding him properly on that.

Exactly. That's why he will learn from Sahiba. When his inner mind will across with so many doubts that how this girl is different from others and especially from her elder sister. In og, she used to wear very simple saree and not any jewellery. She used to live a very simple life. It was The ML who has to changed himself for her.

I want to explore that simplicity and link it too Ajit’s ruined reputation… how she learnt to hate extravaganza and be happy with what she has… another OS!

I wholeheartedly agree with you!❤️

You know it is said, jab bhagwaan ke pass jaate hai tab saari duniyadaari chod ke jaate hai... All the tricks we learn from this society to deal with this society, you have to leave it if you want to attain God. Because all this pride we have on our money, status, looks, etc. nothing will work in front of God, who is unbiased. After all everything we have is God's grace only. One can only win God through pure, selfless love and devotion. That is why simplicity and humblesness are advocated on the spiritual path. Attachment to money and such things is never good, it doesn't let one be content and feel at peace.

I could feel Sahiba when she said Path ka kamra simple hona chaiye. All that unnecessary jazz, who was it for? Neither should we take pride in front of God for what was given to us due to God's mercy and neither should any kind of worship be done for showing off in front of other people.

That's why I don't like Angad so far. I sort off get why he thinks that all lower class people after money, his beliefs are wrong, but I kind of get why he thinks that way, to his mind, they are jealous of the rich. He's wrong, but that is how he thinks. But the ways he treats them is just despicable! He never bothers to look beyond money. Its one aspect where I hope for some character growth.

Angad and Sahiba have a long way to go. But especially Angad. Waiting for his character development. Sahiba and her simplicity will definitely play an integral part in his journey. I love the TMD had incorporated spirituality in the story. One of my favourite quotes on love is by Victor Hugo: To love another person is to see the face of God. For now, the love Angad has is only for his family. People who are related in some way to him. He doesn't see outside his circle, and the wife he is looking for, 'the perfect one' will be within the parameters of this circle decided by him. Sahiba, who seems to be so so different from him on the outside, is going shatter this glass illusion Angad has around him and take off his rose tinted glasses that he uses to judge the world. Although I believe spiritually sahiba and angad are the same, because it is sahiba's words in seerat's mouth that captured him. He just needs to see it, unlearning what ever he has learned through his rose tinted glasses and see unfiltered truth.

I don't know what they are going to do here, but one thing that irked me in the OG is the over-use of possesiveness. The ML's affection somehow emerged from ownership and jealousy, as 'my wife', as an extension of himself. He did change a lot, but that never stood right with me. I mean a little bit possesiveness and jealousy is there in every love relationship. But i felt there it was overdone.

I want Angad to see sahiba for herself, as another person, another human. Not just 'his wife', or 'brar khandan ki badi bahu'. It would be nice to see him call himself sahiba's husband for a change. Since TMD used the concept of rab and also the song 'ranjha ranjha', I still have hope.

Thanks alot. In og he changed a lot for his wife. He even eat whatever she makes. He would sleep on the floor with her or whatsoever. He understood that money can't buy love.

In og badi bouma or Bahu he used was a code word to tell her that he has accepted her as his wife but I guess the FL didn't understand.

He became possesive which was bit extra ... I wanted a new version of them in TMD.

@bold

That is so true... that shows that they could be great life companions for each other once both of them move past their prejudices.

Though I haven't watched the og, I get what you're saying about possessiveness. It comes off as its his right to love his wife, which in turn comes off as possesiveness and exerting his right and not love for her. Its not because he admires his wife as a person or loves her as who she is as a person.

Angad identifying himself as Sahiba's husband would be a nice change❤️
