I mean if we're sympathizing and/or empathizing with Mantu's pain . It's only fair to give a fair look at Uma's situation .

Mantu said 'Hum deewaane go jaayenge , agar uska pyaar naa mila toh'
That's what Uma's been feeling , rather living to hear ever since she was 12 . It's been a long wait for her , and she's always believed that he loves her too .

Her reaction is completely normal , it's an extreme , but calling her a 'chudail' is very unfair .
After her parents , Mantu and Chiklu are the only ones she's held close to herself . She's fiercely protective about them , isn't that natural though? She doesn't want to lose what she hold so close to her , again . Is that wrong?

She's been dealt all the wrong cards . I'm not saying she's right , I'm just saying she's not wrong .

If she really loved mantu seeing him in pain she too wud have felt d same
From start itself the way her character is being shaped i rarely pity her she herself believed abt.mantu loving her.she shud have told mantu way earlier abt her feelings even before amaya entry
i agree aftee her parents death it's just chikoo mantu she has
But that doesn't give her d right to control mantu
If she truely loves mantu she shud let him go
How can she get any love from mantu if he already has someone else present in his heart!
If see wnats mantu even after knowing he loves amaya
Then i wud call her selfish,
I.don't pity her after wat all she did
Infact she shud have been grateful for all dis years mantu took her responsiblity now she can't just force herself on mantu
Her love may not b wrong but d way she is dealing wid it is definitely wrong

I you are talking about Uma's love... No she isn't. If you are talking about her behaviour and ideas... Yes!

Here's why ... Like I have said a hundred times, it is not a big thing to fall in love with someone with whom you have spent so many years but the thing is whether he reciprocates the same or not! Uma, as far as I have seen, never considered anyone or was never polite to anyone expect Mantu and her friends and badi Ammi. All the others were always nonexistent for her. Her loving Mantu, LIKE I HAVE SAID A HUNDERED TIMES, is not wrong but it turned into obsession, an obsession which blinded her thoughts and ideas and ability to think rationally! She actually asked someone to spy on Mantu, she was rude to Amaya also. Amaya loved Mantu as well, but did she EVER talk to Uma with utter disrespect and disgust. Uma was rude to RachiJa also. Why? Did she know them properly? And now the upcoming suicide thing indicates her obsession. I don't even feel sorry for her because she is herself the reason for all this, if she would have thought rationally and acted similarly, she would have been in place of Amaya.

Sorry for the rant. And as far as calling her Nagin is concerned, I did that because she was mean to everyone expect Mantu. I never said that I did that because she loved Mantu.

Thank you.

I think the major reason for calling her wrong is what we have seen is going to happen after this day. If we didn't know that Uma was still going to try to separate Amaya and Mantu despite knowing the gravity of their love for each other, we would understand and feel equally upset for what happened.

It is still upsetting that she had to lose out on everything she had hoped for since she was a child, but my point is that claiming to love someone more than anything, anyone even your parents, friends, siblings, means that you would do
anything to being them happiness, peace, and love. Each relationship has different dynamics, but Uma's love has been projected almost as a worship and that is the purest form of love. It is defined as giving your everything not to be with that person, but to give them their true joy and take away their pain when they are suffering.

Even after this suicide attempt when Uma will have time to think through everything Mantu told her, she won't realize that no matter how much love she gives Mantu he will be in constant pain without Amaya. That is what is wrong. To be selfish, despite knowing that Mantu trusts her so much she will put herself before him and not let him be happy.

I was thinking the same while watching the episodes, and honestly I kept on asking myself what the hell is with this girl and why is she hell bent on claiming Mantu. but then again, I feel for her. She is comfortable with him, but more than the comfort level, he has always been there. Moreover, he has been through the same trauma that she has been through. and she thinks that, that particular incident in the past has tied them together ! I don't know if I'd call her a witch or whatever, she is just trying to stand her ground. Amaya came outta no where, and suddenly Mantu's attention towards her has started to reduce. no wonder she is skeptical !
but yeah, if she tries to hurt Amaya physically, then she will officially be bad in my book !

Love can never be wrong, any form of love. Love is always fair and right!
But the form of love and the expression of it determines the very depth and purity of it!

I would like to quote on love by Osho which is my favourite

If you love a flower, don't pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation. " Osho

Understand Uma's pain. She has been obsessed with Mantu and she has nothing on her mind except Mantu and has been doing that for so many years.

It will be a shock and a void to know that Mantu is not going to be in her life.

Understand that.

But Uma should know one thing. She should have confessed her love to Mantu long ago instead of shouting her head off every day for various things.

Then she would have known one way or the other and Mantu and she could have spoken it out .
However much you are close to someone you know that the other person talks about your marriage as happening with somebody else as Mantu speaks then shouldn't she have spoken about it to Mantu openly confessing her Dil ki baat?

Why did she fight with Amaya regarding Mantu? One person'a love cannot be got by fighting with another "contender". Even if there is no Amaya would Mantu have married Uma? Now Amaya is there if Mantu chooses Amaya how can Uma stop it? By eliminating Amaya? Isn't it a wrong thing to do if you really love somebody?

Love does not happen by the process of elimination. One cannot assume another person's love. unless they openly say it. Uma printed invitations. She is obsessed.

I do feel sorry for her. But she needs treatment for her obsession. She needs to have a heart to heart talk with Mantu regarding her feelings rather she should have had a talk before all this happened.

Yes Uma is wrong. in her behaviour towards Mantu towards Amaya. Mantu has feelngs towards Amaya. He cries because he does not know if he will get his love. But he is not violent like Uma nor is he obsessed. there is a difference.

Uma loving mantu is ok..i really pity for uma that her faith is not on her way...n she was right in going behind mantu before she knew mantu loves amaya...but now after knowing the truth if uma goes behind mantu then she is a very very selfish human being

Theres nothing wrong in falling love with her childhood friend
But here she's being selfish by misguiding the two lovers .

If she had lil consideration for MANTU she wud Hve understood the pain he's going through whilw being away fm Amaya.he was totally broken in yesterday's epi.he clearly mentioned her that's it's the first time he's crying after his parents death.bt she was unable to feel his pain.
And from spoilers for further epi we get to knw she's still continuing her ploys and is behind her ego & petty fights wid Amaya.
So for her she doesn't care abt his heartbreak
More important is how she wins the challenge.thts nt the persona of a good friend or a true lover.
