TOI: Hiba Nawab sings for 'Tere Sheher Mein'

Hiba Nawab, currently seen in 'Tere Shehar Mein', recently sang a romantic number for the show. The actress says, "The creative team heard me humming a song one day and they liked it. Later, the team from the channel also encouraged me to sing professionally. I am not a trained singer, but yes, I was keen to sing and when I got a chance, I gave it my best shot."


Hiba sang 'Dheere Dheere Se..', a track from the film Aashiqui. "It is a lovely romantic track and was played in the sequences where Mantu (Dhruv Bhandari) is shown falling in love with my character," she says. Producer Rajan Shahi says, "The song fitted our storyline and Hiba rendered it very well. Most of our actresses are multifaceted and their talents should be encouraged. In fact, Hina Khan had also sung in my show, Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai."
