Hey guys, I'm relatively new on this forum but a few days ago I opened a thread regarding Robby. Believe me when I say this, I had no ill intention and wanted a great discussion going. I know that there are many Rajat fans but I tried over and over to tell them I am criticizing ROBBY not RAJAT. I probably sounded like a broken record trying again and again to clarify.
If you want to take a look at the thread here's the link:

I hope I don't come across as bitter but I was really disappointed when my thread got closed. I ask, on what basis was it closed? The mod only said that there was too much discussion on Robby. HELLO, ROBBY IS A CHARACTER ON THE SHOW!! I think there were a few topics opened up like "Nupur is an idiot" so I guess no one has their panty in a bunch then.

Getting to the point, I don't understand why the moderator on this forum have to limit free speech. I don't think I was out of line. I emailed the mod but still haven't gotten a response. Should all topics opened on this forum be about how good this and that is? I feel like I'm walking on eggshells trying to pacify over-sensitive fans. Let me make it clear that even if I'm a fan of a particular actor, I wouldn't let that cloud my judgement on the character they are playing. I have said over and over again that the point of having a forum is for discussion and gaining insight. If we can't discuss characters and the plot in fear of people disagreeing with us, what is the point? I rather enjoy the Tere Liye forum and hearing what you guys have to say.

What offends me most is not that my topic got closed but how ridiculous it is that freedom of speech was trumped over to appease certain people. It really made me lose faith in the judgement of the Mods. So clearly, we should stop interacting with those that disagree with us and stay in our own little bubble right? 🥱 I love it when people with opinions so different from each other can come together and justify their view in a peaceful manner. Call me crazy but that's the beauty of having a forum that advocates free speech. In the real world, you'll be hard-pressed to find people that agrees completely with everything you have to say.

Something to ponder upon, here's one of my favourite quotes:

"I may not agree with what you say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it"

What do you guys think? Am I fighting a losing battle or should I continue to advocate for my principles? On a sidenote, I think I have mentioned this but I really do enjoy reading every member's insight on this forum. Thanks for putting up with me guys and I hope we can continue our discussions for a long time to come.
