Robindo aka Rajat Tokas is back with a bang on STAR Plus' Tere Liye. Rajat who achieved immense popularity for his roles in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, had taken a break from acting, but is now back on the small screen, much to the delight of his fans. The actor is playing a character with grey shades for the first time in his career and his character Robindo is already the new heartthrob of the telly world.
Fariya Oyshi:
Hi Rajat, please do give me some tips on becoming a good artiste like you?
Robindo:
Thanks for appreciating my work Fariya. I believe that I am still learning the craft of acting and still need to improve my skills. I would advise you that rather than simply acting you should get into the situation of the character that you are playing and after that you will definitely become a good artiste.

Hi Rajat, You are an incredibly talented artiste and have proved it in PRC. Now, Tere Liye is like a another milestone that is bringing your career to newer and more exciting level. Through the character of Robindo you have the opportunity to establish yourself as a capable and strong actor, as this role is different from the others you have played so far. How do you Intend to improve your acting skills through the role of Robindo and are you confident about your Goals ahead?
Robindo:
I am very confident about my goals and I want my fans like you to support me as I achieve them. I want to change the image that I had created through shows like Prithviraj Chauhan and Keshav Pandit. Yes you are right this role is different from the others I have played before and I am trying to play it in the best way possible.
Kalpana Deshpande:
Hey Rajat, as we all know that you are an outstanding performer in all the characters which you have portrayed, so wanted to know what is the USP of Robindro in Tere liye? I am sure your present character is going take a surprising turn - maybe you would be the one who understands the reality of Ritesh and turns the story around! Because RT ka role itna satraight nahi ho sakta jitna dikhta hai?
Robindo:
Thanks for the compliments Kalpana. The USP of Robindo is that he is different from the other characters on the show. The character is self obsessed and has a grey shade to his personality. The audience can expect to see a lot of twists and turns with my character in the upcoming episodes.
Mina:
Which serial did you like more: Kish Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil or Tere Liye ?
Robindo:
It is very difficult to choose. I like all my shows equally because they have made me what I am today. I feel that I would have been incomplete without any show in which I have acted till today.
Ankita Bhatta:
Hi Rajat... My question to you is that are you still studying? If yes then how do you manage your studies and work?
Robindo:
I am completing my final year through correspondence. Luckily I am able to manage both studies as well as work.

Robindo:

Hi Rajat you are the best actor in this universe! We all love you a lot. You have played intense roles like Prithvi, who was focused, and Madhav, who faces harsh tragedies, and now suddenly a carefree guy! How was your experience?
Robindo:
Thank you for the kind words. The experience has been very good. I love experimenting with my roles. Robindo has a different attitude, body language and way of looking at life. Madhav had certain boundries that he could not cross because he belonged to the 90's. Prithviraj was daring and had taken revenge from his enemies.

Hi Rajat, this is Sudeshna from Kolkata. Q1 How did you feel on your 1st day of shoot? Q2 What made you take up the challenge of enacting Robindo?
Robindo:
The first day of shooting for Tere Liye was exciting. I decided to play Robindo because I had never played such a role before.

No I don't think so.

You would love to share screen space with which TV actress?
Robindo:
There is no particular TV actress that I want to work with but I hope that I get to work with some good looking and talented actresses.

It's good to see you back on-screen after such a long time. Do you miss sharing the screen space with Mugdha Chapekar? After all you both have worked together in two shows! In Tere Liye, who's gonna be your love interest?
Robindo:
No I do not miss working with Mugdha. I cannot reveal the actress who will play my love interest because it is too early to do so.

Hi Rajat, you are the best actor on this earth! You are doing a great job in Tere Liye. Rajat I want to ask you why have you signed a parallel lead while you have always played the lead role? When will we be able to see our favourite pair (Rajat-Mugdha) back on screen again?
Robindo:
Thanks for the compliments Shweta. I decided to play Robindo because I liked the character and also the production house. Right now playing the lead role is not the most important thing for me. I want to make a name for myself and sustain it. I had some offers to play the lead role but I did not accept them because Robindo of Tere Liye excited me more. I don't know if I and Mugdha will ever work together again.
Sapna:
My question for you is would you prefer to marry a girl from India or a girl from abroad (NRI)?
Robindo:
I have not thought about marriage yet. I will let you know when I decide.
Afshan:
Why did you choose this role? Do you you miss Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil? What do you say about this serial?
Robindo:
I chose the role of Anurag because something inside me made me accept it after hearing the story. I do not miss Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil because I am still living with it and carrying it in my heart.

Hi Rajat, good to see you again. I hope you'll create same aura as Prithviraj in this serial as well. Are you going to be against your own brother in Tere Liye?
Robindo:
Robindo is a grey character and he is very selfish so yes he may go against his own brother.

I would like to ask you that how do you feel working with Harshad Chopra?
Robindo:
I have hardly shot any scenes with Harshad, maybe just 2-3. Most of my scenes are with other actors.
