this one's tere liye because it's ''different'' (😉) it's different because it's Bengali- even though it grossly ignores the stuff Bengalis cherish, they eat sondesh and rasogullas and speak a couple of words in Bengali after every two episodes and that's good enough cause hey, that's all Bengalis are made of. This one's tere liye because it will ''remind'' you of your childhood- your journey of falling in love. Here's presenting a list of things that'll prove this is different, we suppose it will remind you of your childhood cause you'll try very hard to remember if something similar happened to you- it's completely your fault if you don't BTW, try harder next time! 😆
your mother is your mother but your best friend's mother comes first
you scheme, plot, set out to make things straight when you're 15
you unintentionally push people off cliffs/ waterfalls because they spread a childish rumor about you, whoever talks to parents/ school teachers about such stuff? Going to them with such petty issues is passe 🥱
you get married to your best friend at 15 cause their pa's about to die and thinks you need a ''man'' to take care of you- he's perfectly okay with the son doing Gandhigiri, the SIL will take care of things and get the boot cause he tried to be a ''man'' when he was supposed to be studying 😕 🤔 no wonder the poor fellow's gone bonkers, he didn't know what to do- behave like a child cause he's 15 yet get married, show some responsibility then get beaten around a little cause he did what you asked him to do, yadda yadda 🤪
you get sent away at the age of 15 and don't come back for 8 long years cause pa doesn't want you to meet ''them''...understandable, but the family can't visit either AND you're supposed to stay sane- perfecto! 👍🏼
Coming on to our next promise, thou shall not see any negative characters in this soap 🤣
we've honored this promise for sure, some of you naive (please read: idiot viewers) may think Ritesh is negative we wholly disagree! To prove our point we threw in an utterly useless sequence yesterday where he bravely tells a mistress/ prostitute that he LOVES HIS WIFE 🤪 he admits that he's a cheat, liar, scoundrel, rouge, but he loves her- he will sleep with other women but they shall not be allowed to utter a single word against the wife.
The kid will get the best toys cause kids have ''certain needs'' 😆 and it's very important to ensure that they're met, the bottom line- hello, dear viewer, do you really need more hints? Ritesh is NOT negative- he's psychotic, prolly because he lost his dad when he was quite young...aww 😳 that is bechara ''deprived'' Ritesh tere liye
This is different- usually we've had the Komolika's, Archie's, Ashlesha's (please add to the list) as the ''third'' person in a love story; behold, we now have Nupur who drops out of nowhere, knows everything about a ''surprise'' announcement and is quick to jump to conclusions and pops in pills to kill herself, then violently pukes as DOCTOR Subot watches and ''nurse'' Taani (who's multi-talented by the way, sings, studies English Lit, teaches kids and helps out at a clinic) expertly makes her puke 🤢 anyway, then she shakes her upper body like she's having fits or a stroke and says ''he'' cheated her so she wants to die 🥱 please stifle that yawn, it gets interesting as ''he'' is he whose entry is lethal to our weepy weepy multi talented leading lady enters and saves the day, at least you get to drool at him 😍 the bottom line: Nupur is also psychotic
We move on- remember our promise, no negative characters! Laboni ma loves Onu more than she loves Taani, but only because he exercises his right to freedom of speech and openly declares that he doesn't love the person he's 'supposed' to love she curses him. For your sakes we at Balaji hope you don't have a Laboni ma in your lives- if so please get rid of her before the worst happens because we believe that Kali ma listens to baseless senseless idiotic appeals from her worshipers and reprobates people who've merely been silly
now you know Laboni loves Onu, she's merely distressed so she curses him, the blame lies with Kali ma, she shouldn't have listened to Laboni! Again, we hope you're religious because you'll have to go pray to Kali ma- we certainly don't
Anyway, enough of our rant- we've given enough reasons for the audience to join Onu in the mental asylum so they can drool at him up close and listen to Taani's uber boring saga as payment- please take lots of tissues and water, the warden who's having to listen to the crap keeps asking for some and we're busy shooting promos in fancy Mercedes so we can't spend on good writers to write good stories let alone buy tissues and water for the warden- she just ain't worth it!
