Was Anu Wrong?

This is not an official DOTW of the week..just an impromptu debate.

Anu was right in saying that Neelu maa should have asked him. But then, moms have a habit of deciding everything for their kids even when they grow up. 😆 But it's kind of unfair to expect Anu to marry Taani just to pacify his mother.

But Anu should not so violently declare that he doesn't love Taani. Any girl would be heartbroken then. He should have patiently explained to everyone that though he likes Taani, he doesn't consider her to be his soulmate. Taani's heart would be broken anyway 😭 but at least he should have had the decency not to announce in front of the entire world that he can never love Taani. He himself said that she was getting humiliated.

But then, what price has Anu had to pay for this? He has lost all the people who genuinely care about him-his friends, his mothers, and most importantly-Taani. Now all he has is Nupur(We've already seen how much she cares about him-by trying to commit suicide. This kind of shows that she doesn't have the trust in him that Taani does-or rather used to have. 😭 ) and the Terrible Trio(Ananya and Ritesh are only concerned about their family's welldoing, aka Ritesh, Ananya and their daughter.)

Anurag was totally frustrated thinking about the fact that all this will hurt Taani, his reacting was an impulsive one that was result of his utter frustrating and feeling of guilt that Taani will be hurt because of this. The moment he saw tears in her eyes only then he came out of that shock and realized the mistake he had made and apologized too. See when he told his mother what she did, he did not know even then that Taani loves him and first thing he said to his mom was "how can you do this to Taani?" but he was even more shocked when Taani told him she loves him and whatever he said was a reaction in frustration ... when you are shocked by something how many of us think about the consequences before reacting? It was not a situation he himself created, he was caught unaware and he reacted just the way most human beings would react. Because for him Taani's happiness still means the world and the mere thought that she would be hurt by all this unnerved him and hence he reacted the way he did.

In a way Anurag has suffered more yesterday because everyone understands Taani's POV ... her mother is there, her friends to support and understand her but even Anurag was visibly broken too but he is all alone, no one is there to understand his pain and see how much hurt he is.

This story is being told from Taani's POV so everyone related to her and feels for her more but Anurag is an equal victim in this story not just because of what happened yesterday but also what happened 8 years ago. He suffered more in that, he was sent away from everyone, his family, his friends and all. Taani still had Lobini to take care of and support her emotionally but Anurag had none back then and today as well he has no one

And Nupur appears to be very insecure which makes me wonder that probably even she knows that Anurag deep down loves Taani and that feeling is buried some where, she is scared it can come out. And hence when she heard about engagement first thing she did was commit suicide because she already knew he actually loves her, so she felt she has no chance now!

Nice post. 👏 I agree with you. Anu had no one except Nupur and her family..so he formed an attachment with her that grew into love. What I don't understand is that how Taani remembered Anu all those years, but Anu didn't .Maybe because she had the angel he gave her and he had nothing. (Kanjoos Taani. 😆 ) Or maybe because what he felt was simply infatuation at that time..but she truly fell head over heels for him...there are so many theories..hope someone else elaborates it for me... 😆

Arey how can you say he did not remember her? I mean he came back for her and her alone, if he did not remember her would he come back for her? Will he care for her happiness? Would he want to fulfill all her wishes? 😕 Its just that he was emotionally traumatized because he was very young when he was sent away as a punishment for a crime he never committed ... I am sure there must be reason why he is no longer "in love" with her while he still loves her and since we don't know his part of the story we can only speculate and we feel only for Taani ... we don't know what Anurag went through all these year, what he was thinking, what made him fall for Nupur, we just have speculations thats why most people don't understand Anurag.

Yeah...you're right, silly me. 😛 He came back for her and Laboni Maa..but now what's the use...they've gone away from him.

But something tells me Taani will continue to be friends with him...though in an awkward way. 😕 What do you think?

Agree wid you ppl!.... But how can anybody love a person so much.. n still not be in love wid that person.. I mean.. Taani has lived only and only for Anurag till now... But Anurag.. he said he only cares for Taani.. but he loves Nupur😡 .... more that her n Laboni maa na...

Gosh!... I feel terrible for Taani.. n slightly for Anurag too..

She is da dumbest character I've even seen.. Sorry for the offence... But I really cant see TaAnu like this.. And Poor Taani will feel so awkward n embarrassed now.. not only in front of Anurag( that is if she continues to be his friend).. but also in front of her friends.. n even Taposh!... 😭

no was at fault yaar..onu wasnt from his pov he was completley right...nd ive been thinking bout it nd rite now m starting to feel that taani shouldnt have jumped to conclusions...sad epi but no one was wrong nd many r accusing neelu maa...even after watching the epi i also accused neelu maa but not even neelu maa was wrong coz ever since childhood onu-taani always use to stay together nd neelu maa knew that when one was lil he accepted the marriage..remember neelu hearing onu telling neelu maam that he wants to buy the sita dress for taani wid his own money..so neelu maa always had the impact that onu has acceppted the marriage..so i guess she wasnt wrong in her place either..no one was..just circumstance were wrong..

Well..in a love story..many a times the circumstances are wrong... 🥺
