Stylish vamps on TV

Nupur: Nupur of Tere Liye is a model in the show and her dressing is according to the latest trends. Reshmi Ghosh who plays Nupur says: "Right now my look is very casual, you can see me in harems, jeans and leggings with tops that flatter my figure. Once I get back into Anurag's life I will be in Indian outfits but being a model my salwar suits too will be very stylish." Nupur's trademark style are her trendy outfits.

Happy Birthday, Taani

Tere Liye's protagonist Taani aka Anupriya Kapoor, will be celebrating her birthday on the sets of the show today. She plans on having a simple celebration and is thankful to the almighty for everything. We caught up with the actress and asked her what her plans were'

As Taani, how has this year been for you? Any significant changes?
I've been able to see Anurag. I was really surprised about the date we had. I just enjoy spending time with him. This year has been very lucky for me all thanks to Anurag.

What would you like to change about the past and what do you wish for the future?
I've had a lovely life and I don't wish to change anything. God has given me almost everything, but the only thing that I want is my baba to comeback into our life. I also wish for Anurag's happiness."

What have you planned for your birthday? Will you be throwing a party for friends and family or do you prefer a simple celebration?
As this is my second family, there will be a simple celebration on the sets as I will shooting all day. I like to have simple celebrations as it will be remembered by Anurag.

What would your dream birthday be like?
A birthday with Anurag would be lovely. I'd like a candlelight dinner with him at his house and I am sure my dream birthday will come true.

The gift you wanted this year and did you receive it?
It's a surprise gift which I dont want to reveal it now , but one thing which I have received is audience's love and support which has been very nice and its a lovely feeling."

Your most special birthday celebration and why? Most cherished birthday gift.
None as all the birthday's have been very special for me , however, my mom tells me that on my 4th birthday, I was given a huge pink colour teddy bear which is still in my room. I have a photo of me sitting along side the teddy bear.

Any wish that you hope will come true this year?
It's a secret and when it will be fulfilled, I would definitely share it with everyone.

What can we expect from Taani in the future?
I'm happy with the way Taani has developed. It's too earlier to mention anything, but I will say that you will see love bloom between Taani and Anurag. I enjoy shooting for the show. The best part, I an amazed that the audience has loved and accepted our chemistry. I just want to marry Anurag."

Reshmi Ghosh is returning to the Balaji camp with Tere Liye. Reshmi is going to play Nupur in the drama series replacing Neha Janpandit who departed from it stating that her role was turning negative.

Says Neha: "I feel in television actors get typecast quickly and I did not want to play a negative role. I informed Balaji a week back about it and they agreed to let me go".

A source says, "We were searching for Neha's replacement for many days. Reshmi herself is a known model and we thought that she will be able to do complete justice to this character. She will start shooting within two days."

Says Reshmi: "I wanted to make a comeback to Balaji. I did quite a few shows after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi got over but people still know me for my character of Bhoomi. I told Ekta that I want to work with her and she offered me this role. It was the best opportunity for me also because I have been doing modeling for many years now. I was not apprehensive to do this role; I have played gray characters in the past. Further I wanted to do a show on Star Plus too. I have been watching this show and know almost all of its actors. I think all things fall into place at the right time. So there was no reason for me to refuse it."

Anu Admits his love for Taani but Nupur makes a comeback

Not long before we had reported that Taani (Anupriya Kapoor) of Star Plus's 'Tere Liye' will leave Anurag and Calcutta both to lead a lonely life in Mumbai. But conditions will force Taani to redefine her decision once again.

Taani-Anurag

According to the sources, Anurag (Harshad Chopra) will finally admit his love for Taani. Much to the delight of the viewers Nupur will make a re-entry in the show. It seems she will realize her mistake of giving more importance to her career than her love Anurag. By all means she will try to bring Anurag back in her life. Anurag will be seen avoiding her and explaining her that he has moved on and doesn't feel anything for her. Nupur will still not listen to him and keep bothering him. Finally Anurag will throw her out of his house and be by the side of Taani.

Nupur will be very humiliated with this conduct of Anurag. Whether she will get out of his life quietly or keep chasing him is yet to be decided.

Atleast for now Anu-Taani fans will be relieved to see their favorite pair together.

Star Profile: Harshad Chopra

Indian television's handsome hunk Harshad Chopra was born on 17^th May, 1983 in a town called Gondia near Nagpur. His birth name is Harshad Prakash Chopra. However, now viewers identify more with his screen name 'Prem'.

The 5 feet 10.5 inches tall man started his acting career with Zee TV's show 'Mamta' in 2006. It was a supporting role and his character Karan Srivastav was a negative one. He has completed schooling at Rabindranath Tagore School in Gondia and then computer engineering course from Modern college of engineering, Pune. During his college days, Harshad stayed at Firodiya hostel.

A huge Salman Khan fan, Harshad took part in the Grasim Mr.India contest 2006 and won the title for best smile. In 2004, Harshad won the best physique award at Citadel Mr.Pune and was also the first runner up. He has also walked the ramp for ZOD.

Following the modelling days, the actor did a supporting role in Mamta and got noticed for his youthful charming look. Then he was selected to play the role of Cadet Ali Baig in the popular youth based show 'Left Right Left'. Following this, he played another supporting role in Sony TV's short lived show 'Amber Dhara'.

Finally in 2008, Harshad got his dream debut as the male lead of Balaji Telefilms' show 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' and here started Harshad's success journey as the male protagonist Prem Juneja. By the time, the show finished, he became popular as an actor and audience started calling him by his screen name Prem. So, it did not take him much time to get the next role and that too again with Balaji. He is now seen playing the male protagonist in Star Plus' show 'Tere Liye'. His character is called 'Anurag' and this is another romantic story that is his strength.

Harshad's on screen chemistry with his 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' co-star Aditi Gupta was talk of the town and fans became very angry when he was paired with another girl in his next show. There was a rumor that he was dating Aditi but they never accepted it.

Harshad has also acted in a Bengali film titled Jutii. He is known to be fond of choclates, cakes n pastries and is a great foodie but maintains a perfect figure by gymming, Taekwondo and attending dance classes. His first car was silver Skoda Octavia, which he bought with his own money.

Within this short span of his television career, Harshad has won several awards. In 2008 Star Parivaar Awards, Harshad won the 'Favourite Naya Sadasya' (male) and 'Favourite Yogya Jodi' alongside his co-star Aditi Gupta. On the New Talent Awards, he won 'Best New On Screen Couple' award in 2008 with Aditi again. In 2009 Star Parivaar Awards, he was again the winner of 'Favourite Jodi' along with Additi Gupta.

Ananya to help Nupur in her vicious plans

Love is for keeps and if it's not your priority then you are not worth it. Nupur who chose her career over Anurag is now repenting for her decision and now she wants him back at any cost.

Alas! Anurag has realised his love for Taani and has confessed it to her. However, Nupur is not going to take things lying down. She has now joined hands with Ananya (Anurag's sister) to make Taani's life a living hell and create a rift between the two love birds. Nupur will turn negative by the day and will get full support from Ananya who doesn't like Taani a wee-bit.

Informs our source from the show: "Nupur will use every trick in the book and will use all her experience with Anurag to separate him from Taani. She will use everything that she knows about Anurag to win him back and will make optimum use of her eight-year-old relationship with him. But what she fails to realise is that Taani and Anurag's relationship is not time-bound and is beyond a life-time. It's an eternal love-story."

Talking about the upcoming track, Nupur says, "I will try to create complications in Taani and Anurag's life with Ananya's help. I will try to win him back and marry him but what happens at the end is to be watched out for."

Nupur's comrade, Ananya says: "Everybody is aware that I am against Taani and hate her the most. I can go to any length to get Anurag rid of her. I will help Nupur in all her plans, scheming and plotting against Taani so that my brother leaves her. I will suggest Nupur to resort to other tricks rather than slitting her wrist as it had no affect on Anurag whatsoever. In the upcoming episodes, Nupur will create a scene in public and I will yet again support her. There will be a huge drama and my family members would merely watch it silently."

Says Vikas Goopta, creative head of Tere Liye: "Taani and Anurag's love can survive any storm. It's not weak and fragile to let insecurities creep into their relationship. It is beyond scheming and plotting by any given person on the earth."

When did they say love is a bed of red roses as with rose comes its thorns which is ready to prick you everytime you touch it. Taani too will have to encounter her share of struggle for Anurag.

Taposh wants Mauli back

When you have it, you dont value it and when its gone, you yearn for it, that's what the magic of love is all about.

Taposh, who ignored Mauli and her love when she was pining for him, is now missing her dearly after she has moved on with Robindo. Taposh in fact will express his love to Mouli in tonights episode, but the girl will refuse him saying that she has moved on in life.

Mauli says, "My younger sister Jonaki wants to marry Robindo for his money. She goes to Taposh and makes him realise his feelings for me. Jonaki asks him to do something to bring my marriage with Robindo to a halt and that he has just two days in hand to get me back in his life. He comes to me and confesses his feelings and asks me to get back with him. But I decide to stick to my decision to move on with Robindo. I ask Taposh to get over me as it won't be right on my part to ditch Robindo who has been so caring towards me and the fact that only two days are left for my marriage. I tell him that although I love him, I am engaged to Robindo. I have to respect the sanctity of the relationship".

Its very difficult for girls, who are considered to be more emotional out of the two sexes, to get over their first love, so how is Mouli braving through this situation? It is indeed very difficult to get over your first love. I have loved Taposh ever since my childhood but he kept rejecting my love. It hurts, but I couldnt force him to fall in love with me. Now that Ive moved on, he realises that he's in love with me. However, while I love him, I am engaged to someone else. I cannot disrespect that relationship, as Robindo has cared about me. And if someone cares about you, and you are committed to that person, then you should stick to it. This is why I've moved on and decided to marry Robindo, she adds.

The change I would like to see in me

I think I am the most imperfect person on the earth and I find myself to look really ugly everytime I preen myself in the mirror. If there is one thing in particular I would like to change about my looks will be my hair. I like it long the way it is but I would like to undergo a make-over. I would want it to style it differently. I have baby hair and I keep getting them straightened and now I am bored with the straight look. I would prefer a different look and style now.
