I agree with you Agramathura. Similarly we need to understand Abhijeet 's perspective when he vocalises his opinion and everyone thinks he's racist or anti Pakistani. Its actually not like that. He is simply highlighting a point which most people feel but don't have the guts to say it out aloud. One cannot bring diplomacy or political correctness in talent shows. It defeats the objective of judging talent on its own merit and like many things in life, we are contibuting to distorting the purity of music/dance and art which is a core element of Indian/Hindu culture and in fact not part of Islamic belief as it is considered a 'sin'. As viewers we should be able to express our feeling -just like Abhijeet - as long as the language is not abusive. There are many 'pakforum' sites which blatently abuse hindus/indians and the bollywood industry in the most abusive language that I find uncomfortable. I guess tolerance has different meanings for everyone.
Isn't this the same Shoaib that was anti- India at one time and yet is presently being treated like a long lost hero in India? It is actually MONEY that has suddenly tilted their strongest anti-India emotions. Indians have suddenly become brothers/sisters/massi etc...........
To first talk about the "pakforum" problems, if you go out to search for a racist site you will obviously find one, just type in indian forums and go to the indian defence site and the site is littered with unmentionable abuse. As for money, the same can be said for any race...I doubt if they hurled abuse at Shoaib but paid him a lot he would come. They showed him respect so he in turn showed them respect.
Honestly, you people, kids or grown ups whatever you are need to understand times are changing. Not everyone now gets a high from hurling racial abuse.
