Dinner had been a silent Affair.

The whole Taneja family had gone to one of the best Chinese restaurant in Amritsar which had also happened to be Twinkle's favorite.

Twinkle couldn't help but notice how much she had drifted apart from her family.

She had started to feel guilty,it was her decision after all to leave her family behind and go on to search a new life for herself.

She noticed how her family was quiet the entire time with a few jokes initiated by her Mamu.She giggled when she realized how her Mamu had put on so much of weight.

At some point she felt like she was the one who was responsible for drifting the family apart.

She saw how Pinni mami pampered Bubbly and that's when realization struck her.Not only had she given pain to herself but to her mother too.

She knew how much her mom loved her.There was a time when the mother daughter duo couldn't imagine their life without each other but today due to the circumstances,the bond and the warmth of their relationship was lost.

Life goes on,no matter how much you don't want it to.It doesn't stop for anyone.Change is the reality of life.Either you change according to the situation that life throws at you or let life change you completely, its upto you to decide if you wanna move with the pace of life or wanna be left behind...completing the last line of her blog,Twinkle hit the post' button and shut her laptop instantly

She needed sleep but before that there was something more important than hitting the bed.

Twinkle took a deep breath and knocked slightly on the door hoping that she would be awake.

"Twinkle beta,you! At this time? Is everything okay?",Asked Leela opening the door

"Hi,I hope I didn't disturb you.I thought if you were awake then we could talk for a while",said Twinkle a little disappointed.

"You don't have to be so formal beta! Your father is sleeping,how about we go to the garden and sit there for a while",suggested her mother with a big smile on her face.

"So what is it that you wanted to talk about?",asked Leela as she handed Twinkle a hot cup of coffee.

"Nothing important really,it's just that since the time I have come back we didn't really get a chance to sit and talk properly",said Twinkle

"I missed you mom",said Twinkle when she didn't hear Leela reply

"You were the one who wanted to leave",replied Leela in anger.

Leela had full rights to be angry after all Twinkle was the one who wanted to leave while Leela had wanted her to stay back.

"Mom you know what the circumstances were,I couldn't possibly stay back here and I didn't have a choice",said Twinkle

"You did Twinkle,you ran away from your problems.You did not call me when you reached America.You did not find the need to call me and let me know that you were alright.Do you have any idea how much I have suffered because of you? Each night,I couldn't help but hope that you were alright.I couldn't help but worry about if you must have eaten or not.There were times when I would cry myself to sleep.There were times when I longed to hug you and pat you to sleep.I didn't ask you to leave,in fact no one asked you to leave,It was you who wanted to run away from your problems.Did you ever think about me even once? Did you ever not find the need to call up and ask if your mother was alive or not? I've waited for this day for so long when you would come back to me.It feels like I failed as a mother,I failed to protect you and keep you happy", screamed Leela and started crying loudly

Twinkle was too shocked to be able to react to her mother's sudden outburst.She knew that she had hurt her mother but she did not the intensity of it.

The feelings and the emotions that her mother had buried down deep inside her were finally out.

"..Maa..?",whispered Twinkle trembling.

She wanted to kill herself at that moment.She could never see her mom cry but today her mom broke down right in front of her and it was all because she had decided to leave back then

"Mom I'm really sorry.Its all my fault.You didn't fail as a mother but I failed as a daughter.You are the best mother in this world.I never wanted to hurt you Maa.I didn't want you to suffer because of my mistakes. I didn't want you to bear the consequences of my problems",said Twinkle using all the strength that she had in her.

With no words left to say to each other,the mother daughter duo embraced each other.They cried their hearts out,they hugged each other with all their might as Twinkle kept murmuring sorry to her mother

Coming out of the hug,Leela cups Twinkle's face wiping away her tears as she continued

"if you really want me to forgive you then you will have to listen to me"

"I'll do just as you say Mom,just please please forgive me.I feel so miserable for hurting you"

"Shh.you know what do I want? I want you to come back home.I want you to come back to your family and start a new life,forget your past and start fresh.we all are here with you,there is nobody who will try to hurt you with us around you.I want my daughter back.I wanna live all those years again which we wasted when we were apart.Can I have my daughter back? Asked Leela smiling through her tears.

Twinkle knew her mother was right.

Plus,she didn't want to hurt her mother any further by saying no.

"Okay"

Looks like the universe had something very big in mind.The destiny had moved in such a way that here she was today,back to where she had started.it couldn't just be a coincidence, could it? For all you know,maybe this was the beginning to a beautiful end.
