Chapter 3

Kunj's words kept echoing in Twinkle's ears.How could she be so stupid? How could she say yes to the idea that Yuvi proposed.She loved her family more than anything in this world and more than anyone and she could never ever think about hurting them.

"Twinkle,listen to me",said Yuvraj trying to gain her attention

But Twinkle was far from listening to him right now.Her mind kept wandering back to Kunj's words.She had hurt him.She didn't know why but she hated herself for hurting him like that...she would never in her wildest dreams want her image to go down infront of Kunj.

"Yuvi I think tumhe yahan se jaana chahiye",said Twinkle not meeting his eyes

Yuvraj - "Lekin Twinkle..."

Twinkle - "Please yuvi,I need some time alone."

Yuvraj "Okay fine but please baby call me once you feel like talking again."

Not seeing any reaction out of her,yuvraj sighed and took his way out of her house through the balcony.

Twinkle "Chinki,mujhe Kunj se baat karni hai."

Chinki - "Twinkle who iss waqt tujhse bohot gussa hai,who teri shakal bhi nahi dekhna chahta"

Twinkle - "Jaanti hun Chinki lekin mera usse milla zaroori hai,please meri madat kar."

Chinki - "Rukh mein kuch sochti hun."

After about 10 mins...

Chinki - "Dekh Twinkle kunj ko phone karne ka koi phaida nahi hai kyunki who tera phone nahi uthaiga so we only option we have right now"

Twinkle - "And what is that?"

"You go to his house and talk to him",said Chinki casually

Twinkle - "Wait what? Tera dimag toh nahi kharab hogaya hai Chinki? Itni raatko mein Sarna mansion ki door bell bajake kya kahungi? Ki Namaste Uncle and Aunty,mein yahan Kunj se sorry bolne aayi hun kyunki meine apne boyfriend ke saath bhagna ka plan banaya tha",said twinkle sarcastically

Chinki - "Well you can do that too"

Twinkle instantly threw a pillow at Chinki's face shutting her up.

Twinkle - "Be serious Chinki"

Chinki - "Twinkle humare paas iske alava aur koi option nahi hai"

Twinkle - "Hmm maybe you are right,mujhe uske ghar jaana chahiye lekin main door se nahi"

"Main door se nahi? Toh phir kahan se?" asked a confused Chinki

Twinkle smirked looking at Chinki's confused expression.

This was going to be fun.

Outside the Sarna mansion

Twinkle and Chinki stand outside the house staring at it.

"Are you sure about this Twinkle?" Asked chinki as she gulped down with difficulty.

"Never been more sure about something",said twinkle as she smiled.

Reassuring Chinki a couple of times more,the girls moved forward to execute their plan

Chinki - "Twinkle,this isn't safe "

"Well the best things in life are usually never safe",said twinkle as she winked at chinki

Chinki - "Come on,lets do this"

Throwing the rope up at Kunj's balcony,twinkle found her way up.

Back in Kunj's room

Kunj was watching a movie on his laptop but he didn't understand a single thing what was happening infront of his eyes.His mind was pre occupied with Twinkle's thoughts

A noise from the balcony interrupted his thoughts making him come out of his trance.

he checked the time to find it was 3 at midnight.

Shoving his laptop on the side,he moved towards the balcony

Since twinkle was wearing a jacket with a hoodie over her head,kunj couldn't make out the gender of the intruder'

Seeing the intruder trying to climb up the last bit of the balcony,Kunj quickly rushed towards the person and grabbed her waist,pulling and turning her in such a way that the intruder faces him

While twinkle had her eyes closed in fear,Kunj was shocked to see Twinkle infront of him.

Both their bodies close to each other,their chests moving in sink

Unknowingly,Kunj's hand reached up to her waist,grabbing it.

Twinkle opened her eyes slowly as she felt his hand on her waist.Both of their heads were so close with their lips inches apart.

Suddenly yuvi's picture flashed into Twinkle's mind making her move out of Kunj's embrace

Suddenly anger grew in Kunj's mind.He remembered Twinkle and Yuvi's conversation about running away.

Straightening himself,he walked back into his room with a silent Twinkle following him behind.

He went and sat on the bed,pointing his finger at the sofa indicating Twinkle to sit there.

Twinkle silently followed whatever instructions were being given to her

Kunj - "Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?"

"Mujhe tumse baat karni hai",said twinkle as a matter of fact

She took so much risk of coming here just to see him and make sure he wasn't angry with her

Kunj - "Twinkle aisi bhi kya baat thi ki tujhe aadhi raat ko mere kamre mein aana pada?"

Twinkle - "Kunj I swear mera aisa koi intention nahi tha ,mein toh tumhe phone karne wali thi lekin fir mujhe laga ke tum mera phone nahi uthaoge."

Twinkle was happy,atleast he was talking to her.

Kunj - "Chalo meine tumhe jitna dumb samjha tha utni tum ho nahi...you are right,mein tumhara phone kabhi nahi uthata"

Twinkle's face dropped at that moment

Tiwnkle - "Kunj kya tum mujhse gussa ho?"

"Nahi nahi,mein toh bas tumhare saath chit chat karne ke bare mein soch raha tha best friend"',said Kunj rolling his eyes

He saw a wave of pain rush through Twinkle's which unknowingly hurt him a lot.

Sighing,Kunj continued

Kunj - "Mujhe laga ki tu ab tak Yuvi ke saath bhag chuki hogi"

Twinkle looked up to meet his eyes,the pain in her eyes evident enough

Twinkle - "Kunj,kya tum saach mein mere bare mein aisa sochte ho?"

Kunj - "Tumne mujhe majboor kiya aisa sochne pe Twinkle"

Twinkle - "Kunj,trust me,mein apne family ko yu beech raaste mein chodhke jaane ke bare mein soch bhi nahi sakti"

The desperation was evident in her voice.She didn't know why but she just wanted him to believe whatever she said

"Toh phir tumne usse haan kyun kahan?",asked Kunj sadly

As nothing but strangers to each other,they didn't have any right to ask each other these questions but somewhere in their hearts,they found the need to.

Twinkle - "Pata nahi Kunj,mujhe samjh hi nahi raha tha ki uss waqt mein kaise react karu,there was so much on my mind"

It was evident through Kunj's eyes that he wanted to believe every word Twinkle said.

Twinkle - "Mein sirf itna jaanti hun ki mein apni family se bohot pyar karti hun aur unke against mein kabhi nahi jaungi.Kunj mein nahi jaanti mein tunhe yeh saab kaise samjhaun"

But Kunj knew,he exactly knew how she was feeling.

When she didn't hear him speak,she looked at him in fear

Twinkle - "Please Kunj kuch toh kaho,I can't bare your silence"

Kunj - "I don't know what to say Twinkle"

While Kunj had a thousand things to say to her,he didn't have the courage to,.Twinkle sighed in defeat

Twinkle - "I guess mujhe chal na chahiye abb"

She took a few steps before stopping and turning around

Twinkle - "Kunj kal humara roka hai.Mein jaanti hun tum abhi bhi mujhse gussa ho lekin please meri galti ki saaza humari families ko mat do"

Twinkle's mind wandered back to when Kunj said he wouldn't ever wanna do roka with her

"I hope ki kal tum zaroor aauge.Mein tumhara intezaar karungi"

Looking at him one last time,she turned around and started walking towards the balcony

"I just hope ki yeh safely neeche tak pohoch jaye",thought Kunj.
