Chapter 18:
Twinj went back to their room. All the way Twinkle was just talking abt Veer. Veer is like this, Veer is like that. Kunj was getting really irritated. But he was somehow controlling his anger and not to burst on Twinkle.
---Twinj Room----
Tw: Kunj, kitna maza aayega na party mein.. Batao wat shud I wear ?
Ku: Kuch bhi pehan le.. Mujhse mat puch. Jaake Veer se puch le na. He was irritated.
Twinkle inwardly smiled.
Tw: Kunj tum thik keh rahe ho. Main jaati hoon uske paas. Vaise bhi he has a very good choice.
Kunj's head snapped up. He cannot let her go to Veer. He immediately went to Twinkle and picked up a beautiful pink gown from bed and handed her over.
Ku: U wud look really beautiful in this. Wear this for me sweetheart.
Tw: Thank u Kunj.
She went to get ready and Kunj decided on taking a small nap as they still had 2 Hours to go for the party. Even in sleep, his mind was revolving around Twinkle and Veer. He had this dream that Twinkle was leaving his hand and Veer was pulling her. He woke up with a jerk and screamed. Sweat beads were formed on his forehead.
Ku: TWINKLE !
He looked around and realised it was his dream. Twinkle on hearing him scream came running from bathroom to him.
Tw: Kunj, are u alright ? Kya hua ? U were sleeping peacefully !
She touched his forehead.
Kunj tightly held her hand and hugged her.
Ku: Just a bad dream baby ! I am alright !
Twinkle though somewhere felt bad for her plan. She thought in mind.
Tw (in mind) : Mayb mujhe itna jealos nahi krna chahiye. Look at him, he is not even smiling from the time Veer came and now having bad dreams. I will just play along with Veer for some more time. I cant see him sad. But he also did the same with me. So I will also do it.
Twinkle pulled back from the hug.
Tw: Kunj we are getting late for party. Now get ready soon. Veer must have reached. Shud I go there and you can join us later ?
Kunj immediately spoke. : NAHI ! I mean.. Baby main bas 5 Mins mein ready ho jaonga but we will go together.
Kunj got up and went to get ready. He wore a black party suit which complimented Twinkle's pink and black gown. He looked as hot as always.
Kunj talked to himself in mirror while buttoning up his shirt.
Ku: I m looking so hot. Now Twinkle wont even look at Veer.
He got ready and went outside. Twinkle was standing facing her back to Kunj. Her gown was a deep backless one which was hardly covering her back. Kunj went and back hugged her keeping his chin on her bare shoulder and hands on belly. He started kissing her neck.
Ku: Baby, Y do u have to look so sexy always.. I cant control myself. Aur aise blush mat kar jaan, bilkul control nhi hota.
Tw: Kunj chodo mujhe aur chalo.
She pulled Kunj and went to the party venue. Veer to reached at the same time.
Ve: Oh my god baby doll, u looking so hot !
Kunj tightly held Twinkle's waist.
While walking inside, Twinkle's heels got stuck in carpet. She was about to fall but b4 Kunj cud hold her, Veer held her.
Ve: Aaram se baby doll. Itni jldi mat chal. Bachpan se tu aise hi hai, har chiz ki jaldi hoti hai tujhe.
Twinkle was still in Veer's arms. Kunj was getting hyper and angry. He spoke to gain their attention.
Ku: twinkle tu thik toh hai Na ?
Twinkle composed herself and Veer too took back his hands.
Tw: Yes Kunj. I am fine. Now lets go Inside.
They went inside and sat down.
The hall was beautifully decorated and had live musicians and singers. There was a floor for dancing.
Veer immediately came up with an idea and spoke to Kunj.
Ve: Bro if u dont mind, can I dance with Twinkle. Its been such a long time we have not danced together.
Tw: Haan haan Veer. Kunj wont mind. Lets go.
They dint even give time to Kunj to reply and went to the dance floor where some other couples were dancing. Veer kept his hand on Twinkle's waist and they started dancing.
Kunj looked at them without even blinking his eyes. He was not used to not being Twinkle's center of attention. It was hurting him. He went to the bar and ordered a drink for himself. He settled down on the chair and gulped the drink in one go. He looked back at Twinkle who was laughing at something Veer had said. He gulped another drink.
Ku talked to himself: How dare that Veer dance with my wife ? Aur Twinkle ne bhi kuch nahi kaha. I feel like killing that guy.
When Twinkle saw Kunj drinking, she paniced.
Tw: Veer we have to stop this. Look how Kunj is drinking and is very upset. He only drinks wen he is very upset. She wanted to go but Veer stopped her.
Ve: Twinkle stop. Abhi dekh vo khud aayega tere saath dance krne.
He pulled Twinkle more towards himself and kept his hand on her bare back. Now this was enough for Kunj. His blood boiled in anger. He immediately went to the dance floor and pulled Twinkle to himself.
Ku: So now if u both dont mind, can i too dance with my wife ? He spoke in anger.
Ve: Easy bro ! Calm down ! I m going. U dance with her.
Veer left smiling and went back to their table.
Kunj pulled Twinkle harshly and her hands were on his chest. Kunj tightly held her waist.
Tw: Kya hua Kunj ? Y r u behaving so harsh ? And tumne drink kri hai ?
Ku: So what If I drank and u r my wife. I have full rights to dance with u. Bloody Veer, how dare he touch ur back. And look at u, even u were laughing and enjoying with him.
Twinkle became teary eyed.
Tw: Kunj he is just my friend. We met after a long time and he is very gud. So I m very comfortable with him. How can u even doubt on me ?
She freed herself from his grip and started walking back to their table. Kunj pulled her back and held her.
Ku: Twinkle baby, I am sorry. But I m not used to not being ur attention. I felt insecure.
Tw: And jealous. She started laughing at it.
Ku: No way, me and jealous ? Bilkul nahi.
Though in mind he knew he was jealous but he wud never admit it infront of Twinkle.
They were talking in b/w the dance. Kunj spinnes her around and sensually moved his hands on her arms.
(I am not very gud at describing dance scenes, So imagine the dance Twinkle imagined themselves doing during Leela's business party).
Ku: I love u Twinkle.
Tw: I love u 2 Kunj.
Twinkle told him how she and Veer had made plan to make him jealous and their plan was successful !
Tw: Kunj Veer is really a gud person. Dont think wrong abt him. Tumne usse kitni rudely baat ki thi abhi.
Ku: Hmm ! I will say sorry to him.
Their dance ended and they went back to table where Veer was sitting and smiling at them.
Ku: Sorry bro.. I misunderstood u. Twinkle told me it was just a plan. Sorry I was just too rude to u.
Ve: Its okay bro ! Now I noe, u really love Twinkle. Always keep her happy.
Ku: Always ! And smiled at Twinkle.
They had a friendly hug. Veer whispered to him.
Ve: Bhai, I will pray to god ki bhagwan tujhe iss sherni aur drama queen ko sambhalne ke liye himmat de.
Kunj chuckled and whispered back.
Ku: Yes do pray for me. Bahut zaroorat hai mujhe himmat ki.
Twinkle too heard it.
Tw: Boys ! I heard it !! And gave an angry glare.
Ve: arre hum to mazaak kr rhe the twinkle. Haina Kunj ?
Ku: Haan haan sweetheart. We were just kidding. He pulled Twinkle and gave her a side hug.
Their dinner was spent over childhood talks and the three really enjoyed it.
