He probably wanted a challenge i think but if the makers abnd writers had tried to divulge more into Kunj's past and and explored his relationship with his exes, e would've gotten a challenge.

a person as practical and with such a strong moral compass as Kunj doesn't become that person overnight. i'm pretty sure his character was physically experienced maybe not to the extent of sex but somewher near it. he also has been shown to drink and know what to order when but not liking it.

His character has shades and i think Sid didn't appreciate that factor. He didn't really read into the scenes and the story as much. he was more enthusiatic about the acting out part of everything.

shakti you should write an OS on a similar situation. remember when twinkle pushed kunj off the bed on their honeymoon night at the dingy hotel and he was shocked. your story reminded me so much of that two second scene.

i feel like it was both the writers and sid

the writers didn't divulge into kunj's character as much and sid didn't read btwn the lines and interpret the grey shades as much

kunj's character had a lot of complexity to it that could have been explored (and which will be explored with this plastic surgery track)
