Chapter 14

The car ride was silent.The weather was in their favour. It was windy so Kunj and twinkle had kept their windows open. The road was lonely,peaceful and romantic. I mean no matter where you are,if there are two people who love each other immensely,it doesn't take much effort for the place to get romantic,don't you think?

In the car

Kunj - "So twinkle,tu Kya khana pasand karegi?"

"Kuch bhi chalega" replied twinkle softely.

Kunj hated this. He couldn't see this new twinkle. He wanted his old twinkle back,the one who was known for her siyaapas,her annoying loud voice and her not so womanly antics... He needed to do something and he knew he didn't have much time.

Suddenly he remembered something and turned the car around

Twinkle was surprised,weren't they heading to a 5-star hotel? She trusted Kunj enough to not ask any questions so she decided to stay mum.

She decided to let her thoughts take the control today. Her mind wandered back to when she first met him.

How he had saved her from falling,she should have known by then that this man would never let her fall. She remembered Kunj and Yuvi's fight and how she had to intervene in.While Yuvi was the one wanting to fight,Kunj was so calm and composed. How he had saved her from her own siyaapas.How she even though was with yuvi's girlfriend,she felt so safe and secure in Kunj's presence.

She never knew her life would take such a turn. All she had asked her babaji was to give her the man she loves,and babaji had given her what she had asked for.

After about 15 minutes,they reached their destination. Twinkle was so engrossed in her own thoughts that she didn't notice where they had come.

One more look closely and it didn't take her more than 2 seconds to realise where they were.

They were at Rakaji's Dhaba.The place that held a lot of memories.The place where they had their very first date after marriage. It felt so surreal. The place gave them warmth,it welcomed them. Slowly all those memories came back to both of them and soon enough tears made their way through the eyes.

At that moment,they both looked each other and it felt like home. What were they doing? Aren't they supposed to be in each other's arms? Why was this happening,they are meant to be.

Twinkle was the first to remove her eyes away from him.

Sensing the discomfort in her,Kunj led her to the seatings.

Surprisingly they got the place where they had sat on their first date since the others weren't free.

Zindagi bhi kaise kaise khel khelta hai na?

Twinkle and Kunj went and sat at their respective seats (imagine their seating on their date)

Kunj - "Sasriyakal Rakaji,do Plate parathe Chole aur white makhan ke saath."

They were silent again. They didn't know what to talk about. Never had they imagined that they would ever run out of topics.

Soon their food had come and they had begun eating.

Suddenly an idea popped up in Kunj's mind.
Very slyly he cut his finger with the sharp side of the bench he was sitting in and his finger soon started bleeding

Kunj - "Ouch!"

Looking at kunj's finger bleed,twinkle without thinking twice took his finger in her mouth.

She sucked the blood out of his finger while Kunj looked at her lovingly.

Kunj in his mind - "Kitna pyar karti hai mujhse Lekin baatie gi Nahi,ziddi ladki."

After removing his finger from her mouth,

Twinkle - "Kunj dhyan rakhna chahiye na,Kitna deep cut Aaya hai"

Kunj - "Haan twinkle bohot deep cut Aaya hai Lekin yahan Nahi kahi aur"

Twinkle - "Kahin aur? Kahan?"

Kunj slowly took twinkle's hand and kept it on his heart.

Soon realisation struck twinkle.She realised how Kunj knew what she was trying to do.She felt stupid for thinking that she could hide something from Kunj.He knew what even she didn't know.

Controlling herself,she continued,

Twinkle - "Kunj,humme chalna chahiye"

Kunj - "Nahi twinkle."

Kunj was now serious.

Kunj - "Kab tak hum humare problems se bhaagte rahenge? Kab tak hum aisi hi pretend karte rahenge ki Sab theekh hai?"

Twinkle - "Kunj mujhe Nahi pata tum Kya Bol rahe ho

Kunj - Seriously twinkle? Seriously? Tujhe abhi Bhi mujhse chupana hai?"

Twinkle - "Dekho Kunj mein Nahi jaanti tum Kya keh rahe ho aur meine tum se kuch Nahi chupaya."

With that twinkle got up and started to leave but Kunj held her hand making her stop.

Kunj - "Please twinkle,tu kyun aisa Kar rahi hai? Kyun tu mujhe itna suffer Kara rahi hai?"

Twinkle had started crying by now.She pulled her hand from his harshly and started walking towards the isolated place.

Kunj closed his eyes. No matter how much he tried,twinkle wouldn't budge. Composing himself,he started walking towards the road too.

Twinkle on the other side was crying and walking down the road aimlessly. She was angry.not at Kunj but at herself.she was angry at herself for hurting him.

Twinkle - "Kyun Babaji kyun mein na chahate hua bhi Kunj ko dard Deti Hun. Kyun woh itna accha hai Babaji? Mein usse deserve hi Nahi karti."

Kunj kept looking for twinkle until he saw a small figure walking down the road. He ran to her and turned her around so that she faces him.

Kunj was shocked to see her. Her hair were messed up,her makeup had smudged,her eyes were red.

Kunj's heart broke into a zillion pieces seeing his twinkle in that state.

He immediately took her into a Bone crushing hug.
Soon twinkle's cries turned into screams.

Kunj didn't stop her. This was needed,in order to move on in life,they had to bury their past behind.

After sometime,twinkle pulled herself away from Kunj and looked at him.

He had been crying too.

Twinkle - "Kunj kyun tum mera picha Kar rahe ho? Mujhe akela kyun Nahi chodh dete?"

Twinkle was now tired,she didn't have the energy left in her to be able to fight and scream at him...

Kunj - "Twinkle tu kyun nahi samjhti ki mein tujhe akela nahi chodh sakta.."

Before he could continue

Twinkle - "Kyun nahi chodh sakte Tum mujhe?"

Kunj - "Kyunki mein tujhse beintehaan mohobaat karta Hun twinkle"

"Kyun Kunj kyun" and with that twinkle started hitting him on his chest. Kunj didn't care if he was getting hurt or not,what was important for him right now was to remove her frustration.

Twinkle - "mat Karo mujhse itna pyar Kunj.Mein nahi deserve karti tumhe aur tumhare pyar ko.chodh do mujhe Kunj.Agar Tum mere saath rahoge toh kabhi Khush nahi reh paoge.Tumhe toh kya mein toh Jeena hi deserve nahi karti."

Kunj was now angry.He had never imagined that twinkle was so hurt,he was hurt with her words. How could she practically think he could live without her.

Grabbing her arms roughly,he continued,

Kunj - "TU SAMJHTI KYA HAI KHUDHKO? MATLAB JO TERE MAAN MEIN AAIGA WOH KAHEGI?"

Kunj was red. Twinkle had never seen him this angry.

Kunj - "Tere maan mein Jo Bhi aaiga woh tu bolegi? Kisne kaha tujhse ki tu pyar deserve nahi karti? Kisne kaha tujhe ki tu mujhe deserve nahi karti? Bas apne dil mein maan gadan kahani banake Khush hoti re."

Twinkle - "Kunj meri baat..."

Kunj - "Bilkul chup twinkle,Bohot Bol liya tune aur Bohot sun liya meine,ab aur nahi. Ab tu sirf sunegi aur mein bolunga."

Twinkle knew Kunj was hurt too and he needed to vent out his feelings.

Kunj - "Jab se tujhse mila Hun my life has not been less than a rollercoaster ride.Twinkle,mein Ek Bohot simple sa ladka Hun.Ek aisa ladka Jo aapni family se Bohot pyar karta hai aur unke liye aapni Jaan Bhi de sakta hai. Teri meri life mein aane se pehle meri life koi Bohot great nahi thi twinkle,problems tab Bhi the.Sab theekh chal raha tha jab meri zindagi mein tu aai. Twinkle Taneja,Miss Amritsar,Punjabi pataka,beauty with brains. Tu aur tera woh psychopath boyfriend. Twinkle pata nahi kyun mein humesha Teri madat karta raha lekin usme galti Teri nahi hai meri hai. Mein Tere liye humesha care karta raha,lekin usme galti Teri nahi galti meri hai. Tujhe har buri cheez aur problem se bacchata raha,lekin usme Teri galti nahi meri galti hai aur lastly shaadi ke baad na chahte hua mujhe tujhse pyar ho Gaya,lekin usme Teri galti nahi meri galti hai. So you see Mrs.twinkle Taneja Sarna,aapki koi galti hi nahi hai,Saari galti meri hai. Twinkle tu har baar siyaapa karti rahi lekin meine kuch nahi kaha. Tujhe Suna hai na toh sun HAAN Teri wajah se mujhe aur humari family ko Bohot kuch sehna pada lekin meine kabhi tujhe blame nahi Kiya. Tune mujhe trust nahi Kiya,tune mujhpe rape charges lagai meine phir Bhi kuch nahi kahan. Teri family ko apni family mana.Galti meri hai twinkle,ki mein tujhse Bohot pyar karta Hun."

With that Kunj fell on the floor and started crying. Twinkle was numb. She didn't know how to react,what to say,she was completely blank.

Slowly Kunj got up and looked at twinkle

Kunj - "I'm sorry,mujhe aise chilla nahi chahiye tha"

Twinkle looked at him unbelievably. Here she had caused him so much pain but here this man had the audacity to say sorry to her?
Twinkle without thinking twice,hugged him.

Twinkle - "I'm sorry Kunj,I'm really very sorry.Please mujhe maaf kardo please. Mein tumhe dard nahi dena chahti thi,mein tumse Bohot pyar karti hun" said twinkle while crying

Kunj - "Agar tu itna hi pyar karti hai toh mujhse door kyu jaa rahi thi?"

Twinkle slowly pulled away from him

Twinkle - "Kyunki mein tumhe dard nahi dena chahti Kunj. Mein tumhari zindagi mein Ek misfit Hun.agar mein chali jaungi toh Tum life mein aage bad paoge.Hum jab Bhi karib aate hai,kuch na kuch aisa ho hi jaata hai ki hum alag ho jaate hai,maybe we are not meant to be."

Kunj - "Twinkle tu yeh kyun nahi samjhti ke Tu mere liye kya hai? Twinkle tu meri zindagi ka Ek important hissa nahi balki Khudh meri zindagi hai. Twinkle agar tu saach mein Ek misfit hai toh tu meri life mein itni perfectly fit kyun hoti hai? Aur agar we weren't meant to be toh mein maut se laad Kar wapas nahi aata"

Twinkle listened to each and every word Kunj said,he was right,they were actually meant to be,she was doing a big mistake by leaving.

Kunj while cupping her face,

Kunj - "Twinkle,I love you so much.Mein nahi jaanta meri kismat mein kitna Jeena likha hai but jitna Bhi hai,I want to spend it with you. Please mujhe chodh ke mat jaa."

Twinkle - "Lekin agar phir se kuch ho Gaya toh?"

Kunj - "Toh hum hai na Ek saath,waise Bhi we make a perfect team,saath mein kuch figure out karlenge"

Twinkle smiled,she was crazily and undeniably head over heals in love with this man and would sacrifice anything in order to spend the rest of her life with him.

Twinkle - "I love you Kunj,mein tumhare bina nahi Jee Sakti"

Kunj - "I love you too twinkle,I love you too"

With that twinkle and Kunj moved forward until their foreheads touched each other,completing them.

Their reunion was witnessed by the moon and the stars,while the stars danced their way out,the moon came out of the clouds to celebrate the victory of love.
