Ok so like everyone even i was heartbroken this morning to find out it is sid's last day of shoot and we would no longer see him as kunj. I was even more torn when i found out the PH are looking for a replacement for him, then my pain turned to fury when i heard they are considering Rafi Malik for the role; if my previous posts today didn't make it clear...I DO NOT LIKE RAFI MALIK!!! 😆
Not on a personal level of course, but i highly dislike him as he is an awful actor who can't hold a single expression, his dialogue delivery is off and every show he has been in has been a failure because he does not make a strong male lead. Desh ki beti nandini didn't last long, and tere sheher mein went off air only two months after the ratings dropped from 1.8 to about 0.8 as soon as they promoted him from second male lead to main male lead after dhruv bhandari exited the show because of his father, mohan bhandari's unfortunate demise. If they are looking for a replacement they should choose an actor who looks and acts the part of kunj well.
Last of all as the title of this topic says i have now come to terms with sid's decision of leaving. I have realised that tashan e ishq has lost it's charm since the mahi intro track and felt the show was very lack-lustre nowadays and flowing with negativity, which is perhaps why sid's decision to move on now makes a whole lot of sense to me and although i still wish he stayed in the show i am happy thinking soon i will get to see him on tv in another avatar. Plus i am glad kunj will not be killed off; i would have been depressed thinking that all those months spent and emotions invested in making twinj happen would be wasted and the show would ultimately go back to focusing on yuvle but thankfully cv's at least spared us that much mercy that they didn't just completely abolish the beautiful relationship that is twinj because of sid's exit. Sid will be missed, and as long as a good actor is chosen to replace him i will be okay...Just please keep Malik away from this show 🤣
