Well i dont think it ws ever really about the clothes.. more about the personality of hers.. her look is modern sure.. but her boldness .. I can see the timid shy gharelu think in india.. but you live in the states or london or canada or anywhere in europe or even other countries.. you are NOT that shy ever so much that you are legit afraid of your own shadow.. unless you have some serious phobia .. or mental health issue.. and tbh a mental health issue doesnt change overnight.. so mahi i doubt has that .. she is just a BADLY written character..
