Part 2
Yuvi continued with his acting of crying and accusing Twinkle. He felt someone grip him by the shoulders. He exacted Kunj but it was Cherry. Cherry was livid as he had just heard the conversation that Yuvi had with Twinkle. He gave a tight slap to Yuvi. "you good for nothing. How dare you try to trap Bhabhi like this? You killed Mahi? I will not leave you today."
Cherry continued hitting Yuvi. Two police officers had to come and restrain him. Yuvi was furious but continued his drama."Bhai you to? How could you possibly think that I would hurt Mahi. I loved her. Twinkle has taken her away from me."
"Bhabhi hasn't done anything. I heard your conversation. i will see to it that you are punished."
Yuvi smirked,"And whose going to believe you? All evidence points towards Twinkle. And the sole witness is dead. It's my word against hers."
Cherry was about to hit him again but Twinkle stooped him. "Cherry, it isn't worth it."
Yuvi smiled."See you in court. should you reconsider what i said tell me and we'll stop this whole thing."
Yuvi walked away smiling. Cherry was about to go after him but thought to call Kunj. Kunj's phone was unreachable.
The police came to have Twinkle escorted to the court house. She looked around hoping to see Kunj. He was no where in sight. Her heart sank.
Meanwhile, mahi had fallen back into into unconsciousness. Kunj tried to revive her but it was to no avail. He picked her up in his arms and gently trudged back up the hill. Unbeknownst to him, someone was silent watching his movements.The figure came out of the shadows. it was one of Yuvi's henchmen. He had been proper instruct to ensure that Mahi was really dead. When he had gotten there, he saw Kunj.
He whipped out his cell phone and spoke a few words. Yuvi started shouting, "I want both of them dead. You are to bring their lifeless bodies to me. No one should know Mahi is alive. Kill them!"
Yuvi could not believe that Mahi had survived the fall. If she came back that would spell disaster for him. He became nervous. He hoped that his man would get the job done.
Twinkle arrived at the courthouse in a white sari. She was handcuffed and was lead inside the room. Leela ran and hugged her. It broke her heart to see her daughter in this condition.
Twinkle scanned the room looking for Kunj but he was no where in sight. A dark dreaded feeling hung over her. What if Yuvi had done something to hurt Kunj too? Her heart sank.

Kunj made it to the top of the hill with Mahi. She slowly was coming to. She set her down on the ground and ran to the car to get some water for her...she grateful drank the water.
"Jiju, we have to save Di. I'm sorry i didn't believe you when you told me about Yuvi. I was blinded by his love."
"What's done is done. It's no use reliving the past. Right now we have to get to that courthouse. Twinkle's life depends on it."
"Jiju, you love her alot don't you?"
"Yes. I love her. She is my life. "
They got into the car and speed towards the courts.

Court was in session. Twinkle stood in the box and the first witness was called. It was non other than Yuvraj. He cried and painted a vivid picture for the judge. He recalled every incident where he claimed that Twinkle had tried to hurt Mahi. His web of lies increased. Twinkle vehemently denied everything but was ordered to be silent by the judge. Usha could not watched this and left to go the the temple to pray for her bahu..
Yuvi continued with his accusations. "Your honor, Twinkle couldn't bear the fact that I didn't love her any more hence the reason she killed my Mahi"
"It's a lie! Twinkle roared. She was again silenced by the judge. "Ms. Sarna, you'll have your time to speak."
"Your honor, i was crazy in love with Mahi. I would have moved heaven and earth for her!" cried Yuvi.
Leela shock her head in disbelief. RT nodded in agreement with Yuvi was saying. Cherry was whispering to Bebee...
Where was Kunj, Twinkle wondered, He had to be here to give her the strength to face Yuvi's lies. Yuvi looked at her and smirked, Your dear husband and your sister are dead. there's no one to save you , thought Yuvi...
Next to the witness stand was RT. He reiterated everything that Yuvi had just said. He stated how Twinkle always had a problem with Mahi and Yuvi's relationship. He even confirmed the acid incident. Leela was livid. "Objection your Honor!"
"Overruled, please be quite Ms. Taneja."
Leela sank down helpless as RT continued, She was shooting darts at him...every word RT said broke Twinkle's heart.
Meanwhile, across town, Kunj was driving like a mad man. He had to get them to the court. His only thoughts were on Twinkle and what she must be going through. He wanted to be with her. He would rip the skin off of Yuvi's back. Lost in thoughts he hadn't seen the oncoming truck. It was Mahi's shouts that brought him out of his revere. He skirted around the truck just in time to avoid the collision. But something was terrible wrong. he wasn't getting any brakes. Someone had tampered with the braking system. The car continued moving gaining more speed. Kunj looked at Mahi in fear. They braced themselves for impact...
The case against Twinkle was a strong one. Others were called to the witness box but each them Yuvi's lawyer outwitted them. When Cherry was called to the stand and had given his testimony, The lawyer stated that Cherry was under the influence of alcohol and thus his word could not stand. Cherry denied having drank but Yuvi said that he was a chronic alcoholic.
Just then Yuvi's cell phone rang. he got up and went to attend the call. When he came back he smirked at Twinkle. He had a foreboding feeling. She wanted nothing more than to see Kunj at the instant to be assured that he was safe. She looked to the doors but Kunj still had not come.
Yuvi wondered where his mom was. Surely she didn't want to miss this opportunity. He tried calling her but to no avail.
The proceedings continued and Twinkle's innocence hung in the balance. She was shattered. Each devastating word was a blow to her. Her sister was dead and she was being accused for that murder.
Having heard the witnesses the judge was now ready to pass the verdict. "Ms. Twinkle Kunj Sarna,the court has hereby found you to be guilty of the death of Mahi Luthra. You are sentenced to life imprisonment."
Twinkle was hearing the words but they weren't making sense. Leela had fainted and was being attended to. Twinkle stood there broken. Time came to a standstill. The female police officer were escorting outside when the doors flew open...
"Ek Minute, your Honor. I wish to say something." All turned towards the door. Yuvi's smile faded when he saw who was standing there.
The judge mentioned for the young lady to proceed to the witness box. She stated her name and proceeded to enlighten the court. She was the same girl that Mahi had seen in the pool with Yuvi. She recounted how she was Yuvi's mistress.
"A few days ago your honor, Ms. Mahi Luthra came to me and said that she had found out about my relations with her husband. She lectured me at length and i fell horrible. I, myself have been witness to Yuvi's erratic behavior and his obsession with the defendant" She continued giving her statement. Yuvi was furious.
"Having heard this new information, the court will break for five minutes and then a verdict would be made."
Twinkle ran to Bebee and hugged her."Kunj?" She questioned. Even Bebee had a worried look.
Yuvi was trying to call Anita again. He needed her here to handle things. Her phone was going to voicemail.
Court reconvened and everyone took their places. Twinkle was worried about Kunj. Where was he?
"After having reviewed this new piece of evidence, The court sticks to the previous verdict. please escort Ms. Sarna to the prisons."
"I dare you to lay a finger on my biwi." Twinkle swirled at the voice of her husband. She had never been so happy to see him. "No one will touch my wife!"
The blood drained from Yuvi's face...
"Order, Order. this court will have some order!" Yelled the judge.
"Mr. Sarna, my verdict has been passed. I cannot change my decision."
"Then perhaps i can help with that!" all turned and saw Mahi standing behind Kunj. Bebee smiled. Twinkle's sigh was audible in the room.
"Who are you young lady?" queried the judge.
"I am Mahi Luthra, your honor. And as you can see i'm not dead. And the truth is that Yuvraj Luthra planned all this."
She went into detail about everything. Others were in shock after hearing this...
"Well then, Mr. Luthra. It seems you have wasted the court's time. You are given the sentence that was handed to Twinkle.
Twinkle ran and threw herself into Kunj's arms. She felt at home there. All the tension seeped out of her body.
Kunj recounted how the almost had a death experience as they had no brakes. He told how he and Mahi and dived out off the car in a split second. Just then Yuvi's phone rang. It was the hospital informing that his mom had meet with a terrible accident and was critical due to her injuries. Yuvi broke down.
"When we jumped out of the car, it crashed into Anita's car. We had to take her to the hospital before coming here."Mahi explained.
"I will not spare you! My mom!"
"Yuvi you tried to kill Mahi and see what happened to your mom. this is called Karma" said a very relieved Twinkle.
The officers took away a ranting and raving Yuvi while the family surrounded Twinkle, Mahi and Kunj."
"Baba ji always answer the prayers of the righteous" said Bebee. Leela hugged her two daughters..
Kunj took Twinkle in his arms again and whispered, "Ms. Twinkle Kunj Sarna, as long a i have breath in my chest, i'll never let anything happen to you my love."
"I love you Kunj."
"I love you Twinkle."
"And I love you Jiju and Di." Mahi came and hugged them. When them by her side she could face the world...
