Part Three

Anita awakened feeling sore. She remembered shouting and then trying to wipe her face before everything had gone dark. She frantically jumped up to look at the mirror.

Nothing was written there but her face was stained with red liquid. With trepidation she slowly started the water. There was no blood this time. She sighed with relief.

"It must have been a nightmare but what about these stains on my face?," she pondered.

She quickly cleaned up and headed off to figure out what had actually happened last night.

She failed to notice three missed calls from her son.

Yuvraj had decided to change course. He would tell the police he found evidence that Mahi's death was an accident and he would willing take back his complaint. He would go to Twinkle and demand she divorce Kunj in exchange of her freedom.

What concerned him was his mother hadn't returned any of his calls. He didn't want her to make any plans that would interfere in him getting Twinkle back.

" I will make my move today itself. That way Mom won't get a chance to ruin my plan," he declared as he did his signature move.

Meanwhile..

" Yuvraj will blackmail Twinkle Di to divorce you Jiju. Mere paas ek idea hai," Mahi declared.

"Kaunsa idea?," Kunj asked.

Mahi whipped out a bottle of cholorform.

" Before Yuvraj can blackmail Di, we can get her out of jail for at least a few hours," Mahi quipped.

" I will administer this to Di before Yuvraj can get to her. Rest of the plan should fall in place but you need to stay calm Jiju," Mahi stated firmly.

" Shant toh ma hoon. Teri di ko kaise shant kare?," he quipped.

Mahi smiled slightly.

" Well I guess I have to be very quick."

A figure arrived in a burkha. Money was handed to the peon to turn the other corner. The figure walked over to Twinkle's cell.

" Hello aap kaun hai?," Twinkle asked leaning through the bars to chance a decent look.

A cloth was covering her nose and mouth, the effect was so quick that Twinkle lost the ability to fight back rather quickly.

The figure waited a moment to ensure Twinkle was knocked out cold before turning around and walking out of the station.

Five minutes later..

Yuvraj arrived with full preparation to secure Twinkle as his again. He handed the officer some money and he let him go back to see Twinkle.

He approached the cell with a confident grin but stopped short to see Twinkle on the ground.

"Twinkle utto! I can get you out of here!," he called out.

She didn't even stir.

" Isko kya hogaya? Did they torture her so much that she fainted?," he pondered.

Yuvraj growled with rage. Only he had the right to love and hurt Twinkle. He stormed up to the desk.

In his rage he spat out that Mahi's case was an accident. He had lost his trump card yet again.

" Twinkle ko hospital abhi lekar jana hoga! She is innocent. I have found evidence that Mahi slipped and actually Twinkle was trying to help her. Due to how it seemed like to us from afar we all assumed she had pushed Mahi," he snapped.

The officer nodded and quickly arranged for transport.

Bubbly was sitting nearby with a dupatta covering her face. She stopped the recorder.

She exited the police station and handed the recorder to someone waiting in a car a few kilometers away.

"Kisne tujhe dekha toh nahin?," Kunj asked.

"Nahin Jiju. Main Mahi Di ko inform karti hoon," she stated.

Kunj gave his younger sister-in-law a thumbs up before he sped off.

The recording was adequate. There were some steps remaining to complete this mission.

Thirty minutes later..

" Jiju, Twinkle Di has reached the hospital," Mahi reported.

" How long will she be out for?," Kunj asked.

" I think the dose should last another two hours. Within these two hours we have to get her out of here and Yuvraj to the farmhouse," Mahi replied.

"Be careful Mahi," Kunj stated firmly.

Mahi knew Kunj was concerned for her and Twinkle both. They could not fail in their plan now. They had the recording but the moment of truth remained.

Yuvraj was going crazy in the hospital ordering the doctors and nurses. Due to his impatient nature he got distracted long enough for Mahi to be able to sneak to check on her sister.

She checked her pulse and glanced at the monitor. She had observed the nurse checking on Twinkle a few minutes before.

Her sister was breathing more evenly. She had to get her out of here before the blood test results came back.

She covered Twinkle up with the blanket and unlocked the cot and started moving.

Ten minutes later..

Yuvraj was stunned to see the bed gone and the equipment going haywire due to silencing wearing off.

He grabbed a peon in the hallway.

"Kahan hai woh," he yelled.

"Kaun saab?," he asked nervously.

" Jo ladki isse kamre mein admit huyi thi!," Yuvraj yelled.

Security and the doctor got him off of the peon. A search was ordered for Twinkle.

Mahi smiled to herself as Kunj placed Twinkle gently in the back seat of the car.

The rest of phase two was yet to come..
