Eva Grover on her 'sudden exit' from Zee TV's Tashan-E-Ishq

Eva Grover was 'class personified' as the majestic and evil-minded Anitha Luthra in Zee TV's Tashan-E-Ishq(Esselvision Productions).

Well, loyal viewers of the show would have gotten a shock on seeing that the actress was replaced by Anjali Mukhi in the power-packed role (as per yesterday's telecast).

Well, we too at Tellychakkar.com were in fact surprised about this development and got in touch with the seasoned performer.

Sad, life can be at times, is what we learnt after this hearty conversation with Eva.

Eva as she started the talk with us was happy that she was back to being hale and healthy, and could not have asked for much, given the health condition she was in few days back.

She went on to explain her health problems to us, "I was in very bad shape, and have just recovered after undergoing a small surgery. I had developed a tumour on my back, in the last bone called the monkey bone. Also, I had a tumour behind my right ear which had to be removed. This was due to a certain nervous problem. And I found it tough to even walk around, leave alone report to shoot. After my hospitalization and surgery, I am now on road to recovery."

Eva who has not shot for the last 20-25 days for Tashan-E-Ishq told us, "Well, I was in a position where I needed maximum bed rest, and I could report only for a day in a week. However, my character was so important that I was required almost every day. And I understand that this would have made it tough for the production house to continue without me. Having said this, I was not even aware of Anitha Luthra being replaced. I got to know of it today morning when I started receiving calls from people around and from the channel. However, I was under the impression that my team will get back to me when they need me. I never realized I was already replaced."

Eva who is an optimistic feels that whatever happened is for the good. "Today my family is happy that I am back home after all the problems I faced. I am happy and most importantly, feel healthy now. Work will keep happening; I have been in the industry for long now. But I will certainly miss playing Anitha Luthra as it was so powerful."

Talking about the sudden decision taken by the channel and production, Eva averred, "I do not blame them. As I said, they must have been in a soup, with me not being there. Yes, it would have been nice if they had told me about their decision. However, honestly speaking, it was great working with Zee TV, and the production house is one of the best ones that I have worked with."

When asked about her future plans, the actress said, "Yes, I am sure I will be back. I am already getting offers. But health is important, and I will want to take it easy till I regain all the strength to get into the grind again."

Eva, you will certainly be missed as Anitha Luthra!! Stay blessed...

She is so sweet though. Didn't blame the production people of being unprofessional

That's so sad to hear. Really wish her a speedy recover. Health comes first.
I kind of hope she'll be offered her role back once she's good and healthy again. Especially because she's been so understanding to the situation.

Tfs.

Now that's what I call professionalism, not once has she thrown a tantrum on being replaced, she's so calm, collective and understanding of the situation..she's also so humble in not blaming the production house when it is their fault to some extent, yes they were under time constraints but Eva deserves to know of her replacement, especially when she is so dedicated to her character and loved playing Anita Luthra

I do wish she gets to reprise her role as Anita, but sadly that won't happen due to further complications..I honestly loved her as Anita Luthra..she gave a lot of justice and conviction to the role, my wish is that she does come back but the fact will remain that production house will not do that

I for one miss you Eva Mam, no one could or will play a better Anita Luthra than yourself
