No no, I'm not a husband you silly people 😛 I'm going to endlessly ramble about Kunj tho so please bear with me 😆
My heart truly went out to Kunj today, and my love for him only seems to grow. So for the past few days I've been conflicted whether I understand Kunj's perspective better or Twinkle's, and after today's episode I've come to the conclusion that I choose both of their sides. But this post will mostly be about Kunj as a character and his feelings, with a snipet of my thoughts on Twinkle.
Kunj entered their bedroom today, visibly angry, frustrated and upset. Him being upset was completely due to Twinkle's behavior and so was his anger but that was partially because of his confusion towards his own feelings. Let's place ourselves in Kunj's shoes for a just a minute. Bebe comes to him and informs him that his wife is not taking part in the competition because he wouldn't like it and we all saw how genuinely happy he was at the news. Right away he goes to his wife, only to not find her in the kitchen and she ends his call telling him she's taking part in the competition and then later she uses Mahi as her reason. Since Kunj and Twinkle have gotten married he has done nothing but support her against Yuvi, Anita, Leela, Usha and anyone else that dared point a finger in her direction. Her wishes were most important and he treated her as a woman whom he respects before his wife.
I noticed one thing he was not angry because what she did to him, he was angry about her choices because they are going to affect her. Even when he was mad he was worried for her.
I always do this I'm so sorry, but I forget who mentioned that Kunj has only expected something from Twinkle twice, the first time was when he wanted her to tell everyone that he was innocent in the Farmhouse MU, and now when he didn't want her to participate. Unfortunately, both times Kunj has been disappointed because Twinkle was unable to do what he wanted.
Very true, he does expect much from anyone, he rather keep others happy because that is the type of person he is. This time i felt for him and i think Twinkle did too, that she could not abide by his wishes.
When Kunj was talking to Twinkle's picture, he was venting, he doesn't understand why Twinkle doesn't see that he will always be there, she wants to do everything on her own and her Mahi obsessiveness is causing these problems, in Kunj's perspective. He knows his Twinkle is strong but she is prone to creating siyaapas and that's where I saw his concern. Then when he's changing, he says, that she cannot see, she doesn't have the right to. Kunj knows she's seen him shirtless, so this was particularly interesting to me because it makes it seem that he knows she's attracted to him and so he's gonna deprive her of this LOL. And omg, the black kurta bro, I swooned.
That is so true! First i thought that scene was both hilarious and cute. It is not like back then when both of them were super awkward as for every touch (the awkwardness now is how do i express my feelings, different type of awkward you know?). So him saying that is his frustration of her not protecting herself and he is trying to find ways to be more mad at her.
Then when he's "studying," and complaining that she didn't even bother texting, he's frustrated because he can't see why he cares so much when she's her own person, but is also frustrated because Twinkle should have at least texted him. When he realizes his phone is turned off, he frantically puts it on charge and is relieved to see the text but switches back to upset mode really quickly because she told him to eat. You know when you're mad at someone but they are trying to take care of you, so you only get more mad at them? Das what I thought LOL. Then his relief at seeing her from the balcony, I was smiling so much because this concern here, it's not as a friend, or roommate as he claims, it's from his rightful position as her husband.
The expression of relief meant so much! Goals i tell you goals!! Roommates he is funny. ONE THING: he says that there is nothing between us but this is the first time he said there is no PYAAR. So he is thought about it!
Kunj was SO vulnerable when he asked Twinkle to think about dropping out one last time, and yet again he was met with disappointment. His face actually kind of really broke my heart :/ But the one thing that made me feel better was that when out of hurting Kunj said that they don't share a real relationship and Kunj doesn't care, Twinkle retorted with then why were you so relieved on the balcony? She wasn't sad by what he said, which shows that she understands where he's coming from and what he wants, but this time it's all for him.
The way he said please, i melted. His face when he was caught, go Twinkle go lol. She wants him to care about her!
Twinkle cannot be blamed either for the two times she has disappointed Kunj because the first time, she was the vulnerable one and only stated what she saw happen to her. Now this time, she wants to please Kunj by adhering to what he wants but she's stuck because of their family. She wants to fix his family's problems and that makes me so happy. It's not for Mahi, it's for Kunj.
So so glad its not about Mahi this time
And obviously, the last part where they both stood up for each other is just proof of their beautiful bond. No matter what problems they have going on in their bedroom, in front of the world and for one another always, they are a team.
Jealous Yuvi was priceless 😆. ONE MORE TIME: GOALS ❤️
