So yes you all guessed it this is inspired by that iconic song from 2000 movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai! Yes Hrithik Roshan's first movie, this will be a few parts, will not be able to update daily due to hectic work schedule this week into next. Hope you all like it, So the question is what if Kunj and Yuvraj never emerged from the water in Goa? Would Twinkle have returned home to Amritsar alone?

Twinkle had returned home forlorn and lost. She had left arguing and nagging Kunj on his stupid plans on preventing the trip at all. Kash one of their ideas had worked. She would not be returning alone today. She didn't even know if he was alive somewhere. When Usha, her mother-in-law questioned her, she had no answer for her queries. Everyone blamed her she felt it. Even if they did not voice this fact she felt it down to her gut. Leela was upset but besides Bebe only she supported Twinkle during this troubled time. Leela had lost her husband many years ago but she had Twinkle and her brother to support her back then. Here Twinkle's married life had barely started and she had lost her everything.

Leela decided to put aside her differences and be there for her only child.

Fate had played one card right in her favor and that was blessing her with Twinkle before they lost her father.

For three months Twinkle cried herself to sleep every night due to guilt and the fact she really missed Kunj.

The only one who ever tried to selflessly protect her.

She had blamed him for the farmhouse incident but now she was sure it had been Yuvraj's doing. Every night she used to wake up the nightmare of how Kunj apparently drowned as he tried to fight off Yuvraj.

He never resurfaced or so she suspected.

One day Chinki decided to go to Delhi for a final girls trip before her wedding. Leela insisted Twinkle and Bubbly go as well.

"Lekin Maa main kaise ..," Twinkle trailed off.

"Twinkle main tuhme aisi nahin dek sakti beta. Please try to live your life again," her mother urged.

Bubbly later convinced Twinkle it would be fine. Twinkle eventually agreed. It was later on the train, Twinkle realized Kunj's birthday was the following week. However the train had left the station before she could react and beg to be let off.

Twinkle had kept in touch with Bebe and visited with her at gudhawara throughout the months. Bebe had never blamed her. She said if Kunj was alive somewhere , he would return to them soon.

" Vishwas rak meri bacchi. Bhagwan ne tere liye kuch soch ke raka hai," Bebe had said on their last visit.

Part 2

Twinkle, Chinki and Bubbly had arrived at the station. Twinkle felt a strange feeling as someone close to her was nearby somewhere. She shook the feeling away. The only person she yearned for had drowned three months ago.

She smiled for Chinki's sake. They were to stay with her cousin for a few days, they would explore the shopping centers and tourist attractions by day and enjoy the nightlife by night.

Amrita's family greeted them warmly. They were a moderate family and tried not to intrude about Twinkle's past. The girls all bunked in one room. They engaged Twinkle in their jokes and stories of childhood when life was carefree. Eventually Twinkle joined in pulling Chinki's leg as well. Aditya and Chinki had met in college days.

It was after midnight, Amrita shook everyone awake.

"Girls ek naha club khula hai yehi paas mein. Let's all get ready and go!," she urged.

Twinkle was concerned as Bubbly was young and her responsibility on this trip. However Bubbly and Chinki assured her it was safe.

"Don't worry girls! Mera ek naha friend hoga wahan pe. His name is Krish Verma. He moved here few months ago for work. I met him at the train station one month back. Some gunda types were harassing me. He helped me out. He will make sure all of us have a good time and be safe," Amrita assured them.

The name was traditional and songs from the early 2000's were playing. The girls were nostatolgic.

The spotlight hit a guy who had emerged on the center of the dance floor. Due to the crowd around them, Twinkle failed to notice his face at first. Ek paal ka jeena started to play.

Amrita and Chinki went into the area as she and Bubbly tried to squeeze in.

Everyone swayed and danced around the guy in the middle and some tried to follow his steps. He seemed to have Hrithik Roshan's flexibility. After the song ended, everyone spread out a bit and then they saw his face.

Bubbly and Chinki stumbled backwards into Twinkle.

Twinkle fell on the floor.

"Tum dono ko kya hogaya hai?," she exclaimed.

Amrita frowned at them and the guy came forward. With the lights more clearly on his face now, Twinkle could see his face.

In a trance she took his hand.

" Tum yahaan kaise?," she stammered.

He raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"Aap kaun hai? You seem familiar. My name is Krish Verma by the way," he stated.

" Main Twinkle hoon..," she trailed off.

He felt like he knew her from somewhere.

Krish felt a spark from the moment he touched her hand and then looked into her eyes.

" Tum Krish ho?," she asked puzzled.

A few minutes later, she ran from there leaving two other girls with Amrita standing there staring at him without blinking.

" Chinki, Bubbly what's wrong girls?," Amrita asked concerned.

" He looks exactly like our jiju, Kunj Sarna," they muttered.

Krish looked on puzzled.

Amrita looked back at him.

" That was Twinkle. Apparently you resemble her missing husband Kunj. He apparently drowned in Goa three months ago," Amrita explained.

Krish looked thoughtful.

" I am sorry for her loss. As you know I don't have anyone to miss me," he said vaguely before walking away.

Amrita gazed after him stunned.

Was Krish really Kunj? If so why didn't he recognize his own wife?

Twinkle wanted to know more about Krish. The girls had merely lingered after Krish had left. Amrita was at a loss for words. How do you console a friend whose husband may have been dead three months, and then his look alike or the guy himself shows up with memory loss.

"The biggest question is, if he is Jiju, how did he show up in Delhi from Goa? Something must have made him come here instead of back home," Bubbly stated.

"Woh toh hai Bubbly, lekin Kunj humhe ya Twinkle ko pechanta nahin hai. Maybe he is just someone who looks like him," Chinki stated.

" I think we should investigate Krish's past. He may not like it but either way he doesn't have anyone here. He is trying to start anew in a new place. If he is Kunj, he should come to Amritsar for Chinki's wedding. Maybe he will get his memory back that way," Amrita suggested.

"Lekin woh humare saath Amritsar kyun jaaya ga?," Twinkle questioned.

" He might not leave with you girls after this week, but he will surely follow you there if he is really Kunj," Amrita suggested.
