Before anyone gets mad, I just want to say that I'm not trying to bash Kunj. This is just something I've been feeling about his character for a while now.
Kunj has always been a great husband, in fact, an ideal one. He kind of slipped down a slippery slope when he slapped Twinkle for the first time. That was really uncalled for and their relationship dynamic was as such that it didn't even make sense for Kunj to do something like that especially because slapping a woman goes against everything Kunj is about.
Putting that aside, he attempted to slap Twinkle again and that was REALLY surprising considering that he promised that he would NEVER do something like that again.
I get that Kunj and Twinkle have this love-hate and bickering type relationship where they are constantly passing witty comments at one another, but the precap and the past episodes have been pissing me off. Kunj is acting so out of character. He shouldn't be insulting and passing the comments that he passes about Twinkle. Yeah, she's a bit immature but he really doesn't need to be saying "I thought after that night some sense would've knocked into you, but I was wrong. You're still the same." That's uncalled. Joke, fight, and bicker all you want alone. Do not insult your wife in front of another woman or anyone for that matter. Plus, you do not need to constantly remind your significant other that they're immature or not smart enough.
If Twinkle said something like that to Maya and Twinkle has been behaving differently for the past few days, this should've been Kunj's cue to figure out what's going on. Plus, Kunj knows that Twinkle is in for a rough ride given her dad is back and yet he still acts so insensitive. I know he's doing a lot for Twinkle, but at the same time Twinkle doesn't know he's no longer upset with her over what happened the previous night and he didn't clarify it either.
Regardless of whether or not that they have a husband-wife type relationship, they are still married. I would be super pissed if my husband were to hang around a childhood friend like that all the time. There is no need for you guys to be hanging out alone all the time without me. Yes, I trust you. But what's the need for you to be so obsessed with another girl? You know if Twinkle were to have a guy friend like that, Kunj would lose it too.
This got really long and I still have so much to vent about but I'm going to stop here. What do you guys think?
