Part Three

Twinkle decided to visit her mother the next day. Kunj was upset with her for last night and now coming to his college. Yes she had secretly prepared the food last night and finished prepping this morning. She ignored aches and pains. She had just wanted to focus on making him happy.

Kunj arrived home to see Twinkle lost in her own thoughts as she was trying to fold her sari.

He paused in the doorway, she wasn't really paying attention to her task and was about to drop the clothing on the floor. Suddenly she felt his hands above hers as he prevented her from dropping it.

"Dhyan kahan hai tera? Lo meh teri madat kar dete hoon," he offered.

Twinkle shifted the length of the sari and stepped back and he grabbed two corners and brought them together.

Slowly the distance between them lessened. He gently pulled her in to land against his chest.

Their eyes locked.

Twinkle was relieved to see the earnest concern and trust in his eyes.

It was an unspoken indication of forgiveness.

Kunj took the other corners of the sari and finished folding it. He placed it on the side.

He held Twinkle's hand.

They seemed to speak together.

"Kya hum iss shaadi ko dusra mauka nahin de sakte?"

"Yeh toh main chahti hoon," Twinkle declared.

" Main bhi. Let's forget the past Twinkle. Abhi huhme iss shaadi ko 100 percent dena hoga," he declared.

"Main samhati hoon isse baat se," she whispered.

Kunj smiled.

"Agar tum samhati ho, toh tumhe meri haar baat mani padegi," he quipped.

"Kaun si baat," Twinkle asked.

"Abhi tuhme aaram karna hai. Aur aaj ke baat hum ek doorse khul ke baat karenge ," he declared.

"Theek hai lekin ek baat poochna chahti thi," she said.

"Bolo," he urged.

" We don't hide anything from each other and I wanted to know if we can live more to the fullest. Other couples try to new activities and travel, can we do the same?," she asked.

Kunj held her by the shoulders.

"Yes Twinkle. Yeh toh main chahta hoon. I want to live life , each moment to fullest with you by my side," he declared.

Later on as he watched Twinkle sleep his heart felt at ease. No matter what life had thrown at them so far, he knew one thing.

"Tera mera saath rahe aur humara pyaar kabhie kaam na ho," he thought to himself.
