6 months later

Time had passed so quickly ever since Kunj had confessed his love for Twinkle. Maybe its true time does speed up when you are happy. In the past 6 months they had created numerous memories that they would cherish forever. They were sitting on the beach waiting for the sun to rise.

"You know what Kunj I always wanted to this watch the sunrise and see how the light illuminates the water. There is just something about this part of the day that gives me hope" She said

"I know it my favorite part as well. When its Twilight everything fades away reminding us that things are temporary as the night engulfs the day. However when the sun rises it renews are hope in life because no matter how long the night is a new day will start again" Kunj said

"Thank you Kunj. No honestly thank you for coming in to my life and making me realize the true meaning of love. Thank you for reinstating my faith in humanity. Thank you for making me realize that life is full of good times and bad times but what matters is who we share it with. I can't seem to thank God enough for sending you in my life" Twinkle said with tears in her eyes

"Oh god why are you crying now don't say kay yeh khusi kay anasu hain. Yaar waisay sometimes you girls are so weird I really need a user manual to decipher you" Kunj teased her

"Shut up Kunj you are so typical. Tum na..."

"Oye Siypa Queen has anyone ever told you that you talk a lot. We are going to miss the sunrise now concertrate"

It really was beautiful and ethereal to see the water changing colors with the suns glow.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" She asked while gazing at the sun

"It is" He said but he wasn't looking at the sun he was looking at her. In the faint glow of the sunlight without any traces of makeup she looked stunning and without thinking he said

"Marry me?"

"What?" She asked clearly confused with his question

"Twinkle Tanjea will you marry me? The past few months have been the happiest days of my life. I can't wait to spend every day with you. To share every pen with you when you forget to bring yours. To offer you a ride when your scooter breaks down. To protect you in the jungle when you get lost. To hold you when you are about to fall. To have numerous late night conversations with you about anything and everything and my personal favorite to oil your hair when you get a headache. So will you marry me?"

"I don't know what to say. This is so unexpected and was Mom in on this plan that's why she was so happy last night. Kunj are you sure isn't this too soon?" She asked

"See I was right you do talk a lot. Twinkle do you love me?"

"I do but what if one day you realize that you are no longer in love with me. What if you leave too?" She said voicing her biggest doubt

"I don't intend to isn't that's what marriage is all about staying together. So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday." He reassured her

"Promise me you will stay with me forever" She said

"Forever is beyond me Twinkle but I can promise you a lifetime"

"Than yes I will marry you Kunj" She said and embraced him in a hug.

What is love? Is a question we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives. The ancient Greeks defined it as the madness of Gods but modern science defines it as an emotion of strong desire and attachment to someone. The truth is love has different meanings for everyone. Love is not something that can be easily defined in words until and unless you experience it. You need to fall in love to find out about what love really is. You need to let love find you and if you are lucky someday love will find you when you least expect it.

Well I wrote it in such a hurry. I never planned on writing the last part today but than I took a study break and I couldn't stop myself from writing. Yeah I did not want to write a cheesy over the top proposal . I wanted to write a simple one because that fits with my version of Twinj. They are simple yet beautiful. Kunj is my all time favorite Indian male lead okay he is probably tied with Sansakar. Lol I am obsessed I know. Anyways thank you for reading. I hope I made you smile:)
